I guess I was just a little naive...had no idea that the show is paid for tourism to these locations let alone $50,000. I guess I always assumed these expenses are paid for by the companies doing the commercials and such.

Btw...when I read that article on tourism in Santa Fe they had this video of Ellen making fun of Megan over something she said on this weeks show. That also reminded me of the closing out take of this weeks show when Megan was wearing the sombrero and babbling about whatever. To me she just seems to be another girl that likes to get drunk and when she's not drunk she seems really ditzy. But then again in reading her bio she was asked...

What's your worst date memory?
Last minute, a guy from my class asked me to be with him on New Year's in Memphis, TN. Well, my adventurous self went and got way too drunk. He watched me throw up in my purse! Haha, it was awful!

Seriously? Is that the only kind of girl that they could get this season is drunk party girls? It seems a bit odd how we have been talking about Chris' drinking and he has so many party girls on his season. Do you think that maybe when they asked what kind of girls he likes that he mentioned he likes girls that like to drink? Just starting to wonder.

Uh Huh....in the producers quest to make this season the most outrageous, catty, and wanting to show all of the ditziness of these girls they insulted Santa Fe, or should I say Sante Fe so they can recognize the word. If they took money from Santa Fe they should have left that Megan clip on the cutting room floor and for goodness sake make sure they were spelling the name of the place right. And btw, I wonder if it was in Chris' contract say what he did about Santa Fe....sounded like a paid plug.

I assumed the show was granted huge sums in hotel stays, restaurants, and privileges (free helicopters, jets, hot air balloons and the like) while shooting in these locations, but never thought of cash being involved. Being from the northeast, I thought of Santa Fe being a sleepy little town. I suppose it still might be. lol.

I can't wait to see what bach digs ups for what kind of perks the show got for coming to my neck of the woods! These are all details that I never thought of either, Singly. South Dakota tourism department probably paid the show a case of beer & a ham & gave them a $50 gift certificate to Taco John's.

I'm with you, Singly, I envisioned the town of Santa Fe with people in sombrero's & Mexican blanket ponchos sleeping in the shade of building on the corner of a dirt street. Duh
