Our lovely ladies are nothing if not tough! Maybe the guys need protective gear in rehearsals to keep them safe from our ladies

I think we start to see more injuries as the weeks go by. Fatigue leads to accidents as does all that wear and tear. But this accident must just feel like it came from nowhere.

That happened to me on an earlier post today. I clicked on edit and put it back in again then it worked.................those pesky gremlins get into everything and mess it up lol!!!

The judges are so hard on every one not named Bindi and Derek. I liked that dance and Alek strolling around outdoors in his Elvis persona just cracked me up. Keep on truckin' Team Takedown, you will always get some of my votes.

I really like Alek, but that was a very weak jive. There were barely any kicks or flicks in the routines.

I don't think the dances were judged on how well the choreography included dance elements tonight. The challenge was to capture the iconic elements of the famous dance. And I like Alek, too, but during the dance, he lost his Elvis-ness. The Elvis hip action and other mannerisms weren't consistent and that more than anything, I think, lost him points.

I agree with what you said, but I felt like he has the perfect song for a jive so he could have done a lot more jive in that routine (others had really bad songs for their dance style).

I think it would have been way too hard for him to do flicks and kicks and still look like Elvis. Maks could probably pull it off -- he does a great Elvis -- but I think it would have been too much to ask of Alek. Just my opinion, though.
