DWTS Season 22 General Chit Chat

Julianne gave good technical advice, and didn't gush as much as Carrie Ann. Bruno still cracks me up and I always wait with baited breath to see what Len has to say. So many good dancers this season. My faves are Wanya, Nyle, Marla, Doug, and Antonio.

Isn't it weird for Derek to not be on the show?

I suppose, but it's nice to see Edyta and Sasha again. I miss Emma. She's my favorite of all the pros!

I still miss Maks, &  am one of his biggest fans. Met him after one of his Broadway shows. He was so nice to his fans &  took many pictures & signed autographs.

I never thought Maks was that good looking like a lot of people did, but he was an amazing dancer and he did bring something special to the show. It would be nice if he came back once in awhile.

       I too am a Maksim fan and have heard how great he is with his fans..............I think there are other pros that are like that too. Sharna comes to mind.

There are so many good dancers!  Way more good ones than bad ones.  I'm very impressed so far.

Methinks it's going to be a good season.

Roethlisberger comes to mind with the Steelers! Big Ben ,sick to death hearing about him!  Of all people to idolize! 

I agree about a pro dancer being missed, but it doesn't make or break the show for me at all.  I have always been a Maks and Cheryl fan.  Miss them?  Yes.  Does the show suffer without them?  No, not in my opinion.  I agree, Derek is a phenomenal dancer and choreographer who always drew out the best in his partners and he made a fan out of me no matter how much I kicked and screamed.  LOL.  But honestly, I didn't think of him once on Monday.

Real quick:  Is it weird that we're posting about season 22 in the season 21 thread though?

The 12 celebrities ready themselves for Latin Night, one of the hottest nights in the ballroom, with each celebrity performing either a rumba, salsa, samba, paso doblé, cha cha, or Argentine tango, on “Dancing with the Stars,” LIVE, MONDAY, MARCH 28 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT) on the ABC Television Network. The dancers will open the show with an exciting number to the song “Shake That,” by Samantha Jade featuring Pitbull, and then each celebrity will go on to perform a captivating and alluring Latin dance.

At the end of evening, one couple will be eliminated from the ballroom competition.
