Speculation around the 'net says Edyta may well be back! That would be cool.

Derek out? Could be as he will be in rehearsals for Singing in the Rain. BUT we've heard this Derek song before, many times, so best to adopt a wait and see position.

The deaf contestant, (I've forgotten his name) is reportedly Peta's partner.

What's been leaked so far: Keo gets Jodie Sweetin (Full House). Mark with Paige VanZant (UFC fighter). Peta will have Nyle DeMarco (ANTM winner). Val will dance with Ginger Zee (GMA meteorologist). Sharna's partner is rumoured to be NFL star Antonio Brown. Kim Field from Full House will compete, partner unknown right now.

Did someone tell him they don't have mirror balls on Broadway? Jokes aside, I think it's a wise decision not to repeat the same mistake and try doing a show on Broadway and DWTS at the same time. He certainly can come back any time he wants to. Maks did it, Kym, Anna, and Karina did it, now even Edyta did it. I appreciate how the producers keep the door open for all of them.

Just read that Karina has Doug Flutie for a partner. There you have MY TEAM! Doug was a superstar here in the CFL and I saw him play many times. Go Karina and Doug!

I was screaming for the producers to get Doug Flutie on this show at least 8 seasons ago and at age 53 they finally did it. He still looks in great shape and so after rolling my eyes at some of the early choices so guess who I'm backing this season. I still remember that Hail Mary pass he threw and completed with 6 seconds to go and made BC the winner. I can't think of any pro qb that has played for more NFL or CFL teams so he should be pretty popular this season and who knows may get Karina her first Mirrorball Trophy. O one snippit of information concerning Doug, his parents Dick and Joan died of heart attacks last November, one hour apart.

Karina already won once with JR ... they were a great team.Karina is a favourite dancer of mine.Going to be good to see her this season.

There are eleven couples "announced" on that Pure site ... they seem to have pretty good info ...

Yes you're so right Oakma she did win with JR 5 years ago so I must be having a senior moment.The funny thing is I backed JR and Karina that season but felt that Rob K had outdanced him in the finals.Anyway Karina is 38 and Flutie is 53 so I hope they get a win for us old timers. Man dance

DM we're the ageless viewers but it does seem that age 50 plus for the stars is pretty tough to win this competition.Age 50 these days isn't old but they don't have as much left in the tank as the 20 and 30 year olds. I see they've added two more current NFL players to the show and they will be tough to beat. I'm still backing MR.Flutie.

Jane, so far no one has been confirmed. It's all based on rumours, speculation, and spy observations. Eleven names have been leaked now, but Dominique is not among them. What I am more worried about is that Lindsay and Emma are not mentioned as pros so far. But we only have five female pros (Sharna, Peta, Karina, Edyta, and Witney) by now, so I hope there will at least be a spot for one of them. On the other hand, there are six male professionals already (Keo, Val, Mark, Tony, Artem, and Sasha) plus their supposed partners, so I'm afraid your gymnast won't be on this season. But let's wait until the announcement, and in any case I'd like you to be around occasionally. There's more to this board than battling it out with a monkey.

Dude, Donnie was 51 when he won with Kym- and he was certainly anything but an athlete. Don't count anyone out just because of their age.

I didn't say it was impossible to win when you're 50 or older, but you'd better be in fantastic shape of which Donny and Jennifer were.For that matter there was another winner who was 51 that being John O'Hurley.I know most of you are going to say Kelly Monaco was, but the angry viewers flooded ABC with letters claiming the show was rigged and manipulated.How shamefull accusing ABC of rigging something it never could happen or could it?
