Re: DWTS Season 24
I have absolutely no interest in a kid season. It didn't work for SYTYCD and I'm happy they're going back to adults this time around.

Wait. Is this for real? No. Please no. That I would not watch. I am probably in the minority, but while intellectually I know they have to start out as kids to get to the level they want to be at as adults, I just find it kind of creepy watching little kids do dances like the rumba or the AT. I can handle jive or fox trot - the dances that aren't generally overtly sexual. And seeing little girls in skimpy costumes wear with all the make-up also just squicks me out. I couldn't watch it. I wouldn't watch SYTYCD kid season either for the same reasons. I know. I'm weird.

Nah, you're not weird, but I'll probably watch at least one show just from curiosity. Last time I checked I still had a few of my cat lives left, but I'm stingy what I use them on!! So we'll see!

Yep, DWTS Junior is coming spring of 2018, LM. Lots of moaning going on over at FB. I guess the ratings will determine its staying power but if I am remembering rightly the SYTYCD foray into kiddiehood wasn't a roaring success. I watched sporadically and mainly towards the end. There were some great little dancers for sure but it wasn't a format that grabbed and held your attention.

OMG I was flipping through some videos and came across Heather Mills when she was doing the skating show and her leg flew off

When you say kids, how old is that? If they are in their teens it might be interesting, but little kids wouldn't be that interesting.

Will they have different hosts for this spin-off? I have already asked myself why Bindi has been around so often this season. Just a random thought.

Glitters, this isn't official but I have seen 12 - 15 as the applicable ages.
Brother, the announcement was pretty bare bones and nothing further has been divulged yet beyond they will be judged by qualified judges. Bindi isn't that but in the fascinating minds of the show runners they may see her as such. And yes she could easily pop up as a host. Which I could tolerate much better than her dancing stint.

Just weeks after Nick returned to the show. I hope his own little family will give him the strength to cope with this. My thoughts are with the brothers.

No interest in a show such as this. Didn't watch the SYTYCD version either. As you say mustang, it's creepy to see kids display themselves in a sexual manner. But this thing ought to be a pedophile's fantasy series. While I realize it could also be captivating to kids who have dreams of a future in dance, it just feels wrong. If you're weird, so am I. lol.

I didn't like the kids version of SYTYCD was just awful. Watching them cry broke my heart. I had to stop watching. Probably won't watch this & I am upset that DWTS will just be on once a year.

Re: DWTS Season 24
Even though my fave went home early I'm getting excited for the finale! Going to put something together in St Petasburg for anyone interested, if it ends up a party for one that's ok, hey a party is a party!!
Maksim has been putting up pics in the ballroom of rehearsals with Charo, Mr. T. Chris Kattan, Nick, but no Heather hmmmm...I was so looking forward to seeing her. Does anyone remember if a celeb didn't come back for the finale? I mean gosh even Hope was there at their finale and we know their journey was no walk in the park sometimes!

Yesterday on FB I saw Heather would be performing a number with the pros on the finale. I will see if I can find it again.

No dinner for one, sis- not this time. I'll be there of course. Chongies have a reputation.
Can't imagine Heather won't be there. But she probably needs much less rehearsal than the three in the picture.

Found this on JustJared, sis.– There will also be separate girls and guys’ numbers. The girls’ number features Heather Morrisand female Pros and Troupe dancing to “River” by Bishop Briggs, and the guys’ number incorporates the male Pros and Troupe dancing to “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars.

Re: DWTS Season 24
More drama for the finale--per PureDWTS Normani had twisted an ankle during rehearsals. It's not going to keep her from dancing, but Val might have to change some of the choreography--especially on the quickstep they are going to be performing. Hopefully she will feel better by Monday night.

Thanks sis glad to know she will be in the Finale, but I really want to see her with Maks, they only danced 2 dances together

Re: DWTS Season 24
I'm guessing Heather and Maks will do something together even if it is just a short dance in order to acknowledge that they were a team this season.

Re: DWTS Season 24
Being a fan of Heather and Maks together, a short dance to just 'acknowledge' them just doesn't quite cut it for me.
Anyhoo.....moving on!!

Not totally sure except he said that the joy had been fading or something and they had tried hard to get it back.

Re: DWTS Season 24
Not surprised at all ... the whole idea that you can find a mate for yourself on a show like this is pretty far reaching imho.
It may make a tv show, and they may have a great time living it up on the show's dime but then the people have to go live a real life together. It's paying the bills and compromising for the other person and doing laundry etc.I believe most of the people on these shows use it to get acting work and are not really looking for a spouse.Once in a while there may be a couple who do get married but I would imagine it hasn't/doesn't happen often.
This is the comment of someone who has not watched any of these shows.Has any of the guys or gals gotten married on any of the shows ?
