Yes, Oakma, there have been a few success stories out of the world of Bach. Not the majority, but occasionally it has worked.

Yes, quite a few have gotten married and are still together and have started families.

It might have been better if they had not jumped right into another reality show so quickly.

I think Rashad and Emma won it tonight. They were that much better than the others. Hooray for Emma.

Re: DWTS Season 24
Kind of reminds me of the season Donald won.....like Bruno said back then, football players know when to peak!! Both dances were touchdowns!! Yes Hooray for Emma too!!
What was up with Val at the end....so solemn faced and stoic while Normani
and the others were smiling and doing a little dance

I feel like Val is a little burned out, at any rate he seems tired. I think he needs some time off.

Re: DWTS Season 24
Rashad was awesome.
My sister said that Len was a dick again with his comments to David.
I turned the channel every time they were going to judge.
I am rooting for David, but if he can't win (although the judges having a cow would be fun for me to watch) then I hope Rashad does.

Re: DWTS Season 24
I absolutely loved this episode. It started off slow, as David's waltz just wasn't good. I honestly don't know what it is, but he just mostly looks awkward. Seriously nice guy, though. But his freestyle - wow! I know in terms of difficulty, it wasn't there, but boy did he perform the heck out of it. It was just plain fun. I smiled through the whole thing. And a few of the moves he did were actually quite good, I thought. Like the backwards cross steps. Not particularly hard, but he did it smoothly and was in sync with the rest of the group. I have to give mad props to Lindsey for her choreography. She made him look really good. She did the same thing with Alex a few seasons back. His freestyle was way more enjoyable than I expected given his level of dance ability, but she came up with choreography that suited him and made him look good, as she did here with David. Man, would I love to see her get a real contender and be able to see what she could do with them in a freestyle. She's rapidly becoming one of my favorite pros.
I loved both of Normani's dances. The 'catsuit' did seem an odd choice for the Quickstep, but it was a great dance. But it felt like the judges were being too nitpicky. Rashad and David get waltzes to re-do, but she gets a Quickstep? That's one of the hardest to do well. Anyway, I would have given it a 10. And I loved her freestyle. At first I thought they were going to do a contemporary, and I was like, "Ugh." But then they didn't. It was a mix of dance styles, and I thought it was just breaktakingly beautiful. Adding the little kids worked well, I thought. Just beautiful. My only worry is that the high energy dances will get the votes.
If Rashad wins, I will have no issues whatsoever. His first waltz was really nice. I wouldn't have given him a 10 for it, but it definitely seemed that he was getting it all together, and you could see the improvement. His freestyle was just fantastic. I loved that he danced so much of it by himself. That was a gutsy move on Emma's part, and it worked. He really held his own. I loved that he 'choreographed' (I'm sure Emma cleaned it up) part of the dance, and he was working it. He looked really good, the dance was fun, and I loved it. It's a toss-up whether Rashad or Normani had the better freestyle - I can go either way depending on what I'm judging on.
It's been a while since I thought there were 3 really good freestyles in the same finale. While I kinda missed some of the awesome lifts we've seen done in other freestyles, it wasn't really a big deal because what was given to us was so good. I have reached the point where, if David wins, I'll be mildly disappointed because he's not close to being the best dancer, but he's been trying so hard and is such a good sport, that I won't feel like the result was a 'travesty.' If Normani wins, she'll be such a deserving winner. And a win by Rashad would make me smile because he was such a find. And with no dance or performance background, he most holds up what many of us thought the show would be about - finding a true beginner and making them into a dancer. So right now I'm thinking I'll be good however it goes.
But I still would have loved to see Nancy and Simone in the finals as well.

Re: DWTS Season 24
I suddenly realized why these three are there, and not Heather, Nancy, or Simone. They are the best representatives of the entire cast, and if you take a step back and look at them, their characters show a lot of similarities to the final three last season (and many a season before). On top of that, these are the couples with the best connection or chemistry. I could critisize this, that, and the other. In the end, people voted for personality, diversity, and entertainment in the finals. And that's what we got.

Seems Artem let it slip that Rashad is going to be on the tour. Gee, I wonder who will win tonight?

No I have never had a strong feeling Rashad would win, Glitters. I hoped he would but I felt it could just as easily be Normani. Not David, I think he's third.

Re: DWTS Season 24
Season 24 is history. To tell you the truth I won't miss it much. I am pleased with the ShadSquad win and for me that was the best outcome. Seeing Normani and Val relegated to third place was a shocker but I know popularity and fan base is the most important factor with this show. My hope for season 25 in the fall will be for a more compelling cast. There was nothing wrong with any of the season 24 group but no one just reached out and grabbed you. Summing up, I just didn't have that much fun this season and usually I enjoy the heck out of DWTS.

Re: DWTS Season 24
Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy this season, Lesallee. I have to admit that - aside from Heather, Nancy and Simone not making the finale - I thoroughly enjoyed the season. No cast member I absolutely couldn't stand - Erika Jayne came closest but even she had her moments. Some really nice dances. A lot of fun.
Congratulations to Rashad on his win! It was well deserved. I was personally really rooting for Normani, but I'm happy for Rashad.
I loved the show. I love seeing extra dancing by the pros; I love seeing cast members come back; I loved seeing Charo play the guitar; I loved seeing Heather dance with the female pros; I love seeing bloopers and behind-the-scenes things not normally shown. I could have done with at least one fewer song by a guest musician because it left no time to talk to the winners. That was my own big gripe. Why do they run it so close before announcing the winners? Rashad barely got to say anything. David didn't really get to say anything. Does no one watch the damn time? It's like, "hey-you won. Now get out of here. Show's over."

Oh season 24 had its moments of fun LM. I loved Nancy and Artem and enjoyed Nick and Peta. Just overall the season was rather dull to me.

I enjoyed the season, but really think that Len needs to retire. He seemed extra grumpy this go round.
The bright spots for me were Nancy and David.
Rashad was awesome.

I liked the season because there were 2 people I was rooting for and sometimes there isn't even one or there is just one. The fact that Normani came in third though tells me that the sports fans have a lot of influence on this show.
