OK, please don't hammer me but.....I'm on the Mark and Paige train after these last two weeks. I know Paige has been trained in dance for 13 years, I know her parents owned a dance studio, I know she is the ringerest ringer that ever was on this show.

Mark is out doing himself with the choreography this season. He is genius and Paige has the skill and the chops to be able to pull of these performances. Yes, I said performances. She is not just doing steps and completing the dances.....she is performing and giving those nuances that I love to see.

Last night I gave half my votes to Paige and the other half to Jodie. After watching the Austin Powers number a few more times and rewatching the Jive, I've decided I want Paige and Mark to hoist that trophy. I'm on the Mark and Paige train for sure.

I like Paige too even though she is a ringer. She is just fun to watch. Ginger just doesn't have the vim and vigor she has. Even Jodie I feel is better than Ginger.

I have been reading a lot about Paige and it seems she could almost be considered a professional dancer. Her training and experience are extensive. I guess she is the ringiest ringer ever on DWTS. I have never voted for her; she doesn't really appeal to me. I suppose a large part of it is her chosen profession of pounding on people. I read someplace she has dance videos on YouTube, don't know if that is so but I'm going to investigate a bit.

It seems at least one, frequently two contestants each season must claim to have been bullied when they were younger. Is that now a prerequisite to getting onto DWTS?

I have never voted for either - well maybe I gave her 1 vote a few weeks ago but I agree that she could almost be considered a professional dancer. Here is a video I found on youtube but it almost sounds like she puts them mostly on her IG.

      I still think Scherzinger holds the title of biggest ringer, not just being a professional dancer, but a professional choreographer.
     I was just surprised to hear this about Paige. I've never voted for her, to come out of basically nowhere and be this great dancer, I thought it was due to her athletic ability.   It's ok to say you've had dance training....this show is a whole different ballgame.
    Luv, no one is going to hammer you(I don't think) for supporting Paige. Yes she does seem to get the character down....next to come out is she's had  acting lessons Very Happy

She really has the dirty flirty stuff down.....maybe she stole a few fellas from those girls that bullied her Thinking

I always thought these ringer discussions lead nowhere. You either have none-dancers, and people will complain about lack of technique or musicality, or you have those who can keep up with their pro, and people complain they're too good. Everyone loves the story of starting from scratch and taking it home, but that is rarely happening.
Apparently Paige put up a lot of dancing videos on the web herself- so it's there for everyone to see. Anyway you can't hide anything in the days of the www. All I know, and Mark said it himself, is that she is capable of the hard stuff. It's been a long time since I've seen Mark just dance on pro competition level. No fluff, gimmicks, masquerade, big scenery, whatever. That was the best Jive I've seen since Nick and Sharna in last season's finale. And they were also dressed in red.

As usual, Paige was very good. It wasn't my favourite Paige dance and all nines would have been appropriate. CAI's ten was, I believe, generous.

It reminded me too much of the samba he did with Sadie , but not nearly as good. Also the samba trio with Shawn and Derek you are so good mark but I found that dance a little boring Paige really wasn't that good and did nothing noteworthy Imo.

I loved that Paige got a 30 despite being first to perform. That hardly ever happens. I certainly hope she'll be in the Top 3.

There were moments when I thought she was Witney. Hot as hell. And don't get fooled, anybody. That Samba was ridiculously intricate. She just made it look easy. The AT would even have pleased Maks. The music was the icing on the cake. Love me some Gotan Project.
