Paige and Mark

Another couple saved from Season 21 thread.

Happy that Mark is well enough to dance.

I like Paige but I don't like what she does (the fighting) and this dance was a little too much for my taste. A typical well choreographed effort from Mark and it was well performed.

She is a good dancer and I would never guess that was her profession.
The elements of Paso that she did were good. Now I would like to see her do a Waltz, she's very pretty.

Shades of Derek don't do the dance you are supposed to do try to slip something by Len.I wasn't aware that the dance they were supposed to be doing was a Paso. Watching it I thought they were doing a very good Contemporary. I guess Len saw it the same way. Lucky for Mark Len gave him a break with a 7.The dancers are too good this season that they have to stoop to the hybrids as in other seasons. I hope the next time someone tries that, Len spanks the couple real good with a 4 or 5 score. Confused

I thought they got robbed! Score was a full point too low in my opinion.

I'm usually pretty good at predicting the score once I've watched the dance and heard the judge's comments but I was still expecting better scores just from what I felt in my gut on that one.

I do wish the judges had the ability to give a 'half' point sometimes. So many times I think out loud and hear myself say "that performance was At Least a 7 but maybe not an 8" or some such thing.

If they were supposed to be doing a Contemporary dance it might have scored as high as a nine.It was very well done and original, but was supposed to be a Paso and had very little Paso content. I don't know what Mark was thinking because it should have been easy for him hustle up a Paso. Rolling Eyes

I think if they had done that in the finals or for their freestyle it would have gone over big.

I know that fighting is her career but I think that she is there to do something removed from that ... sometimes Mark is too "creative" for this show ...

Paige is the best dancer of the women imo. Another great Quickstep, you have taken to dance like a duckling takes to water!! So much fun and personality plus!!!

I agree, they looked so sweet together. I really liked that it was more romantic than intense. And wasn't it cute that Sasha gave her flowers when they first get together?

That was the only performance where I disagreed with Maks. Ok, it had a bit of a contemporary feel about it, but how about M&M's Rumba in season 18? Paige is an exceptional dancer. Her femininity is fascinating, maybe because it's so unexpected.

That was fun. Mark was a great Austin Powers! Just a good 'un all the way. Didn't think it was a 10 but Len did, so that's okay.

The Austin Powers number is the only dance I have watched again and again and again. I LOVED it. I can easily see Paige is dance trained. She must have ballet in there because she points her toes and can do pirouettes beautifully. I'm always on board with the ringers and Paige is on my finale wish list.

Mark certainly nailed the Austin Powers character! Loved the opening rubbing Paige's leg thingy. What a delight this dance was. I'll be watching it again and again and again.

She was trained in jazz, ballet and hip hop. I don't know how she hasn't injured herself doing that fighting.
