And I don't think Joe really wants to be famous, he seems uncomfortable with the cameras. Samantha sure wants to be famous. That makes her seem like a manipulative jerk. Then you take Joe and his treatment of Juelia. He knew he had to manipulate someone to be on the show so he picked the most naïve and (let's be honest) least intelligent person out of the group. He was just using his people manipulation skills to pick the best person. He didn't care about her, her feelings, or how he would be portrayed. Samantha seems to make sure she always looks perfect and is smiling and laughing in front of the camera. Seems like she is really manipulating quite a bit and getting what she wants. I hope that Joe and Sam are really forced to examine their actions as people - they deserve some serious feedback.

Juelia - I am having a hard time finding sympathy for her. She just seems so lazy. In particular lazy minded. I hate being so critical but honestly - when people are going out of their way to tell you that someone is not ok, and you ignore it... then that person acts exactly as they said he would... in fact Joe confirmed even before Jonathan and Mikey talked to Juelia that he was not into Juelia (ignored her all day). These are not the actions of someone that is into you. When someone likes you they do whatever it takes to spend time with you. Look at Jade and Tanner and the other good couples. It was clear Joe was not into Juelia. She is sort of acting the victim to get others to get angry on her behalf instead of addressing it head on and calling the two of them out. She needs a little Crah crah Claire for a moment. I just don't think she ever sat down and really thought anything about this scenario through. Maybe she is drinking and relaxing and not really working this through in her mind? I don't know. As for Tanner not saying something - I think this chalks up to the men sticking together. Joe, Tanner, Jared were all close on their season. They are going to cover for each other.

Megan - Speaking of lazy minded... she was dim witted during Chris's season, although she is very nice. But I swear the IQ of the people on this show is pretty low as an average. I really can't watch her either.

Favorite quote of the night is from Jared - "Who would have thought that I would be liking JJ more than Joe at any point of time"

Ashley Cryer - I literally cannot stand another second of air time with her. She is so irritating. It seems she isn't gone for awhile which is annoying because I have to fast forward through her interviews she is so irritating. Jared definitely tells her he is still in love with Kaitlyn which is obvious to anyone that watches this show for more than two minutes. He isn't pursuing anyone and seems completely uninterested in a relationship. Just wanted a vacation? Thought he was ready?

Kirk and Carly - Cute couple but won't last. I adore Kirk - wish I could date him. I think that he is intelligent and well rounded and I think they are a cute couple but he needs more for a long term relationship. I think that the qualms he was having on the date he should have listened to. I think they were telling him this won't last.

They need to add more people and quickly because I don't think that there is much available for matches out of the non coupled folks. Also - do you think the BIP folks could just kick Sam and Joe out?

Regarding Jade: She seems nice enough, but does anyone else get the impression that her pornish past is still with her? Her bikinis are extremely small- almost like nude modeling again. And, yeah, I'm saying it, I don't think she is remotely pretty. I've tried and tried, but I cannot see it. But she's nice. Laughing

I think Jade is very average looking but it looks like trouble in paradise for her and Tanner. I wonder if it has to do with her modeling. There also seems to be something remote about her but I could be wrong about that.

Couldn't agree with you more, I think it just may be possible that after the success of that "Unreal" show they decided to just go with the flow, if they are going to be parodied, why not do it themselves.

I saw signs of it on BIP allowing us to hear them discussing things with the producers and letting us hear the questions they were asking them in their interviews. Having Ashley S go from wacko to normal and back again.

I think they are doing the same with the Bach and Bach ette. The show never was "real" but for those of us that liked the possibility of romance and mystery I think that show is gone.

tweetingbird- I've been thinking the same thing about Unreal. I think they are taking little interesting parts and incorporating them in bach shows. Personally I can't wait for Unreal to start back up!

As far as people who are a little crazy or unstable, they aren't necessarily that way all the time. It doesn't mean that they don't ever act normal. Ashley probably goes in and out of it depending on how she feels and how much stress she is feeling. She might have seemed more normal with Dan because maybe she felt more secure, but even Dan said he saw things he didn't like and cut it off. Now, she is probably stressed again because of what happened and she doesn't have the security of a relationship.

Well they don't come right out and say it, but It seems pretty obvious to me Glitter, they even have CH making fun of himself now, I think they know that we know and they figure as long as it works, who cares.

I wouldn't watch the show if I thought the stories were fake. I'm sure the Joe and Samantha story is very real. They were even talking about it on After Paradise last night and how Samantha and Joe live tweeted during the show. What they tweeted goes along with the story line.

I don't believe Ashley S is acting. I believe there is something off about her. Why would anyone act like that and isolate themselves in some way from the rest of the cast? It isn't an appealing way she is acting. It isn't going to attract anyone to her. I'm sure it is part of the reason Dan broke it off with her. I do believe the other Ashley is a pretty emotional person. We saw how she was when her sister was there.

If Chris makes fun of himself, he isn't in the story line. He can afford to do that and make lighthearted banter. It doesn't mean what is going on in the show isn't real. Chris is just the host. Someone has to host the show.

For jade- I find it very refreshing that at least one person embraces that they are on a beach and she wears no makeup and goes very natural. I really like her. It may make her come across poorly on camera at times compared to the Sams Ashley's and Claire's that always have perfect makeup and hair but I'd rather watch jade. I'd rather have someone that posed nude then yet another waitress/actress/model wannabe famous person. She's well spoken and kind. Hope she finds a good guy.

I think that BIP is just supposed to be fun and they don't intend us to take anything seriously. Basically ABC cashed in on the fact that all the contestants would hook up at off screen meets. We were always hearing about these big get togethers for the bachelor family and the Couples that came out of it. One of Ali's suitors Chris and jakes pavelkas rejects got married. aBC saw that we liked hearing about that stuff so they set up the meetings on camera. You can tell it is just a fun silly thing based on the hilarious opening credits. I love that they added Jorge the bartender.

I'm beginning to wonder, based on this season, whether there will be a BIP3. I think the outrageous "plot" lines and behavior are turning off a lot of tried and true fans. JMO.

They had the rose ceremony on Sunday, so I'm assuming that is when they are going to continue to have them, but who knows. I guess it's just one a week.

This weeks episodes were a bit draining to watch. They are dragging those stories out too long. There is no reason why they couldn't have cut some of the crap and had a rose ceremony and move on to people leaving and more coming in. Keep this moving, for goodness sake!

We all know Joe is an ass. This was established last week. Okay, now we have Samantha come in and like I said in a previous post, her and Joe are sharing a page from the same play book. If you're invisible on one show then come back as a villian and you get all of the attention you want. I don't like that all of this attention is given to this weird couple. Joe is basically an idiot and Samantha is playing Cruella Deville. That whole lying scene where they showed what she said in a PI denying any previous relationship and then going to him and telling him how she wants him to lie, that shows a really devious bitch. I don't care how beautiful someone is on the outside. If they are ugly on the inside then that detracts from any outer beauty. Both of them are just creepy and that hot tub scene made me sick.

Singly, I agree with you when you said that Amber seems a bit too young for Dan. That story she was relating to him about how her and her friends grade guys on the show seemed like a story a teenager would tell. I think he is flattered that she came on the show for him, but too much beyond that I really don't see it.

I also wondered about 'girl code' same as that woman on After Paradise. What is it with these women that are supposed to be good friends (Samantha/Juelia, Amber/ Ashley S.) that don't seem to mind stabbing their friends in the back over a guy? Guys are a dime a dozen...good friends are not. I know this show is about coming to hook up with guys/girls that you may be interested in meeting, and I also know that they don't usually know who have hooked up upon arriving. But for goodness sake, when you find out I would think that you would at least have some sort of feelings about it other than saying flat out that you basically don't give a rat's ass if you hurt your friend or not. What kind of people are they?

At least this week they didn't show Ashley I. bawling her eyes out over and over. Ugh. But I do find it interesting that when Clare walked out of the rose ceremony that Ashley piped up to criticize Clare over the drama/crying, not acknowledging that she is the absolute WORST when it come to that. I can't stand that weird little princess in a woman's body. Grow the hell up, girl.

While I'm thoroughly annoyed by all the crying between Ashley I., and Clare, I do see a difference. With Ashley I., I see teenage angst - the insecure woman-child who puts all her emotional eggs in one basket and lacks the experience to contain disappointment. Whether through a dedication to education or her upbringing, Ashley's maturity appears stunted. With Clare, it all seems manipulation through emotional display. Therefore, I find Clare more irritating. But it is like the pot calling the kettle. Wink

With Clare you can tell it is manipulation. It is pretty telling that all the other contestants said that about her at the ceremony.

Oh, believe me, I definitely see that Clare's whining is manipulation. All I was saying is that Ashley had no right to criticize someone's else's whining when she is just as bad....No, she's worse. As you said, Singly it's an instance of the pot calling the kettle black. Ashley is the Princess of Boo Hoo and Clare is the Queen.
