What a good idea to make these episode topics stickies. It is so much easier to read the comments under one heading rather than multiple threads. I hope everyone gets used to the idea and like it too. Pretty well all message boards do it this way with the exception of the late, departed ABC boards and they could have done it like this if they had so desired.

Well my favorite comment of the night was when juelia said that men don't have the emotional intelligence to talk about feelings properly or something like that. I thought it was great!

Did Mikey really just become oblivious about Claire? I mean I thought she told him on the date she was dating other people still... He really doesn't have the fortitude for this show. I mean he came across as pretty dense. He should have gone after Ashley I. They are at the same level and neither one could tell their person wasn't into them.
I don't know if joe got a bad edit or he's just a crass guy that can't handle himself. I don't like him. I didn't like how he left kaitlyn's season either he was a jerk then too.
I thought Claire was handling things well. I don't like josh. I don't think he is being honest or he is trying to fit in by talking about drugs. I feel bad for Tenley but hope she finds someone great.

I agree, h28koala. Juelia's comments were right on, but she said they don't have the emotional capacity and it's their pride that makes it hard to talk about their feelings. I think Clare did make it sufficiently clear she wanted to explore other relationships. Mikey wasn't hearing or listening to her. Then, he said he wants to kiss her, and she said "No," that she just got through saying that she's not here just for this.

I don't remember how Joe left Kaitlyn's season... what did he say? I don't believe it's solely a bad edit.

I don't think Josh is being honest either. He was talking to Jared and Ashley in the swimming pool about how great it would be if they had a certain drug, and then he tells Tenley the Molly drug is overrated.

If josh does do drugs recreationally he would want to cover it up during a time when the cameras were blatantly on him. In the pool he may have forgotten they are taping every second.

Regarding tonight's episode, Joe speaks to his producer of violent acts he would do in retaliation to Mikey and Jonathon. That's beyond macho...that is big time messed up scary. In addition he is downright cruel to Jonathon and Juelia. I can tolerate most people. I can not stand Joe. This is beyond a bad edit.

Not good! Seems that Joe has many issues and needs professional help. Someone like that should not be on these types of shows. Other people could suffer from his actions.

I'm just curious about the way this board is set up, if we post all comments about tonight's episode on one thread it seems like we would be changing the subject a lot. On the old abc board one thread might be about Joe, and another focus on Jared. and like someone else said, it might be hard to keep up with a really long thread. I don't think that would be as much of a problem with BIP, but when the Bachelor comes back on it may be.

This has been such a train wreck so far and we are only on week 2.

I'm glad Ashley I's sister went home. She was getting on my nerves just as much as her sister.

I was kind of surprised that Tenley gave her rose to Joshua and not the lawyer dude. Can't remember his name. Only vaguely remember him from Des' season. I can't believe that Josh was talking about taking drugs in front of camera's. That can get you really jammed up. What an idiot.

I missed the conversation between Clare and Jared before the rose ceremony. Before I knew it she was saying something about him having issues about their age difference. I wonder what brought that on and if it had anything to do with her age at all. He knew she was older when he asked her on the date. Did she do something to turn him off and that was just the excuse he gave? Can't believe he went back and swapped spit with Ashley after that. I know it was to get her rose but jeez...she falls in love all over again. SMH

I feel so bad for Juelia. She deserves better than Joe. He is such a douche bag and I don't believe it is all an edit at this point. I know the concept of this show but my morals would not let me use someone and hurt them to just move on with someone else as soon as they show up. It's emotional cruelty. At least if you're going to do it don't take such joy in it like Joe has done. He's a pig. I never found him appealing in the first place but he is just downright ugly now, inside and out. And all those threats he was throwing around...he should have been told to stop or be escorted out. TPTB have lowered themselves even more by allowing a possibly violent man to continue on a show where he threatened numerous contestants. If all of this had been a put on then Jonathan wouldn't have been as angry as he was about Joe on After Paradise. He said he has erased any contact information on Joe and he basically called him out if it came to that. I hope Samantha gets a clue real fast on that dude. I'm curious to see what she is like with all of this Juelia thing going on. We didn't see anything about her on Chris' season but hopefully she would be kind to Juelia since she knew her as a nice girl in the house.

I was impressed with Ashley S. on After Paradise. This beautiful young woman is
intelligent, refined and classy; not at all crazy as depicted during Chris' season.
Like her a great deal.

I admit to being confused by Clare's comment tonight. Jade made a good point during the rose ceremony when she took offense (was that the word?) by Clare's statement that people on the show this season weren't there to find love. Clare responded by saying, "If the shoe fits."

What the heck did that mean? Did they cut something out in the edits? I just don't get it.

I feel like we got robbed of something in lack of footage of the date between Clare and Jared. All they showed was the bungee jump and at the end, a small part of him picking something out of her teeth at dinner. She was giddy when she got back and then they just showed the beach scene where Jared brought up her age (which irked me - he knew how old she was when he asked her to go!).

I hope if Clare does leave, she gives her rose to Tenley to give to someone else. I was sad that she didn't select Michael for the rose (Tenley) and hope she can keep someone around. I could swear though I saw previews of Clare asking JJ if he wanted to make out, so maybe she doesn't leave.

And I have to say, I really like Mikey! I don't understand why the ladies don't like him and he keeps getting in the friend zone. I really thought he would be a good match for Clare as long as they took it slow. Or Juelia. Joe is creepy even without the mean comments he makes behind everyone's back. I think Mikey is way more handsome, well spoken, and has a good heart.

We did seem to miss some date footage, lb. Perhaps Jared just didn't like her and used the age gap as an excuse to save her feelings.

I, too, was hoping Tenley would choose Michael. I've lost trust in Joshua after he contradicted himself about the drug use.

Mikey does seem to have a good heart. However, he's too into his body and seems too dense for most of the girls.

Clare has become the Drama Queen of BIP. I wouldn't mind if she left. And I believe Jared only went back to Ashley because she's the lesser maintenance - A princess instead of a queen. It wouldn't surprise me if he just coasts through the rest of the season, not seriously interested in anyone.

Mikey brought up to Jared that Clare is eight years older than him. I hope he didn't get into his head when he said that. I don't know if he was using the age thing as an excuse. He told Ashley I. that he's trying to figure out where his emotions are. He had also expressed his intent to be open to whatever [whoever] happens. But I kind of think Jared is not really ready to jump into another relationship after Kaitlyn just dumped him and hasn't met anyone that knocked his socks off.

This is something the admins and mods will need to do some thinking about. On the "other" board they have a "contestants" thread with sub-threads for each contestant in a particular season. Why don't you guys put in a request to Bach98133. He's the head honcho around here. However, I don't think each episode thread is going to get that long, and within a week the comments on a particular episode will die down or stop. JMHOFWIW.

I just know that on night one I came here and there was so much posted in one thread already that I left. I couldn't read through the entire thread and watch the show too because I didn't want to post something someone may have already commented on. That to me is the equivalent of using one email message at work for everything to everyone and expecting people to get what they need out of that long message about many topics.

So, last night became the Jerky Joe Show. But as I thought about it, it seemed very contrived to me. Joe, on Kaitlyn's season wasn't Mr. Personality but he presented as an ordinary guy. Suddenly Joe arrives on the scene, zeros in on Juilia as his only hope for a rose to hold his place on the show until his dream girl, Samantha, MAYBE arrives. Samantha? How does Joe know enough about Samantha to have her on his wish list. We, the regular Bach viewers barely saw or heard anything about her on Chris' season. Oh well, Joe declares Sam is why he's there and proceeds to make a fool of Juilia and antagonize and infuriate everybody else. The scenes with Jonathan and Mikey where Joe forced them to recant their words to Juilia and then Jonathan in tears over the dastardly deed he had perpetuated against Joe were to me, way over the top and unbelievable.

Lo and behold, according to the preview, Miss Samantha arrives to make Jerky Joe's dreams come true!

Did they write the script for this totally unreal reality show minutes before filming it? It seems so.
