It is true that they are not fans of Val. He's like nails on chalkboard to most of them. But whatever Pure says at this point has no sway at all over how the elimination turns out, and I highly doubt that the audience will be adapting their votes so that there will be a two male and two female pro finale, as they have never done so in the past.

But I bring it up because I think this is one time when a vote on the show might be a real indicator about the (diehard) FAM fanbase for the future, don't you think? Are there enough of them (plus those for Victoria) to offset some popular contestant like Drew when their votes are concentrated on one FAM member? This is an opportunity to find out. Drew only needs less than two thousand per million votes more than them to be saved. That's a pretty fine margin.

They've never had a two male and two female pro finale? Why would anyone care about that? What has it been in the past? I haven't even been conscious of that.

I think it is different every season, Glitters. Offhand, I can remember that in Bindi's season, there was only one male pro left. And I only remember that because of that opening finale Christmas scene where Sharna, Witney, Lindsay and Derek were posed looking out of a snowy mullioned window looking like they belonged on a Utah Christmas card.

Actually we've had a finale with two male and two female pros just a year ago in Season 23: Jana and Gleb, Laurie and Val, Calvin and Lindsay, and James and Sharna.

Final Four have featured 2 male, 2 female pros 12 times in the last 24 seasons. And I think that is what we will see this season.

The stupid article on msn.com has both Lindsey and Lindsay in it, I wasn't sure who the heck was actually injured after reading it.

It starts out talking about Stirling and then later on talks about Sharna learning her (Lindsay's) routine in case she can't perform, WTF?

I guess it's a good thing we are almost done with the season. The games being played are getting tiresome. I expect both Lindsays will dance.

Reading further it appears it is Lindsay (not Lindsey) who has an injury. She apparently got hurt during a troupe number during camera blocking.

People Magazine originally reported that Lindsey Stirling injured her knee but then, two hours later, the story changed to Lindsay Arnold hurting her knee during camera blocking and now the original Stirling report has been taken down.

I would hate for it to be a bad injury, but we have seen in the past how well other pros can step in, and I am absolutely sure that if necessary, Sharna would do an excellent job replacing Lindsay. And although I know Jordan adores Lindsay, I don't think he would lose very much by dancing with Sharna instead. He'd adapt easily enough, I think.

Thanks, I was surprised that it was allowed. It's part of a screenie I did through Earthcam on July 4th waiting for the fireworks to start at Silver Beach, Lake Michigan. The sunset was stunning. It's the beach I always went to growing up in St. Joe, Michigan.

Photography is a great interest of mine.I love pictures,even blurry ones and ones people think are not good.I think there is real art in all pictures even if they are not a money shot.
