Lindsey and Mark paid a visit to veteran YouTuber Rosanna Pansino who is the host of the show, Nerdy Nummies.

Rosanna created a really neat version of the Mirror Ball in cake form.  The video is currently trending #26 on YouTube.  Rosanna and Lindsey are friends, so I'm not surprised that they appeared on the show.  I liked seeing Mark be involved in the process--introducing ingredients, steps, etc.

Maybe Rosanna needs to make more of these cakes for the finale!

When Peta and Donald won the MB....Maks and Peta were dating  the first time and there was a party at a hotel I think in Vegas and I guess Maks had them make a MB cake for her and it had Petas and Donalds name at the bottom. It looked real!

Lets see Lindsey is 31....so what's up with the pig tails and hair mouse ears. She really reminds me of a teenager. Actually there have been teenagers acting more her age on the show.

I'm not sure kincaid.  I guess it's indicative of Lindsey's youthful personality as well as it being a favorite style to keep her hair off her face when rehearsing or being casual.  I kinda wish she went back to her earlier reddish hair color though instead of her current blonde look.  I always thought her red hair suited her personality.

Lindsey enjoys being quirky.  If you can imagine how disciplined her childhood had to be for her to have mastered -- really REALLY mastered -- classical violin (to the point where she can dance while playing intricate stuff) AND add the whole conservative Mormon lifestyle to that -- "quirky" is a rebellion for her.  A fun, can't hurt anybody, kind of rebellion.  And that rebellion often is seen in her clothing and hairstyles.

In a lot of her videos, her hair is a beautiful artistic mess that just somehow fits -- like she's a woodland sprite.  It is also often died several colors.

So, yeah, "youthful" fits her.  She enjoys breaking fashion hair rules -- like a teenager would.

Mark and Lindsey are dancing to a really sweet song that I had never heard until now.  Thought I'd share it.

Youthful innocence and mature melancholy were my words for Lindsey. The song picks up both vibes and therefore I think it's a good choice. If Mark continues to combine concept and content like he did so far, this should be another great performance.

A nasty little thought keeps running through my head: Val, better leave your violin locked up in the closet this season. Twisted Evil

Three Contemporaries tonight- Lindsay might have an edge over Artem and Peta here. Jordan, it's done barefoot; so no chance for Len this time.

I'm also looking forward to a spicy Rumba by Vanessa and Maks, and curious what the package will look like.

Apart from what's happening at the top of the leaderboard, I secretly hope Jazz will be a chance for Derek and Sharna to climb up a bit. I do believe they're better than their scores reflect.
Good luck to everyone tonight.

Frankie & Witney: A great comeback from last week, his obvious joy of dancing makes me feel joyful Flower couldn't help myself and looked up the scores online lol.  Agree with all 8s, compared to last week this dance was SO much better.

Terrell & Cheryl: This was the most likable I've seen him, I usually find him kind of cocky but this week I really felt for him.  It's difficult losing a grandparent.  Definitely his best performance yet, not sure if he deserved the same score as Frankie but still very good compared to his past dances.

Nick & Peta: Lots of people giving their best dances tonight!  Nick's was so incredibly sweet, how can you not be moved hearing that song?  I do agree that he looked a bit unbalanced at times, he looked like me in my first contemporary dance recital and even now I am still incredibly awkward haha.  Still a step up from the past weeks for Nick, I think he'll survive next week's elimination if he survives tonight's.

Nicks Contemporary was better than 7's  Vanessas Rumba was better than 8's...Obvious they are trying to get rid of the Married couples.   Nikki was to big and forceful for Artem and she almost knocked him over on every lift..and nothing was mentioned. Deep heavy sigh I'm getting disillusioned and don't even get me started on that jerk Jordan...after Lindsay danced he acted like he was crying then started laughing.. then he cried his little girlie a$$ off wanting everyone to cry for him.

I agree that Vanessa was really  underscored. She is an excellent dancer. Her story also hit home with me because my newest grandson was born at 33 weeks and struggled. It's very hard on both mother and child. Thankfully he is now at home.
