Love all the pictures!! I agree this partnership has been great.....hate it that Sharna got hurt, but I think it might have brought the relationship to another level also....James I think was a big part of why her injury did not overshadow their journey.....he seems like such a grounded guy and I felt he always kept it about her just getting back to him.

Wasn't my cup of tea for a fs, but the judges liked it and I like James. Sharna played the tear jerk card and it worked...at least he didn't do the sad face. I liked how he pulled ...her back when they were suppose to be in place for the elimination.....if this team wins it will be due to James...period.

While I wait to see it in real time on the West Coast, thank goodness I got to see their dances on YouTube. I love that their Freestyle was a fresh take on the usually more somber contemporary. Sharna was going for a dance that was more inspiring--trying to depict James' inner strength and spirt that enabled him to come back from his accident, and I think she succeeded. I've seen some comments on SM that thought that James' voice over wasn't necessary, but it added a unique touch to the dance and it wasn't overused.

Plus James got his 10 from Len! Very happy about that!

I agree sue, I felt the narrative drew me in to the story the dance told in movement. Sharna choreographed out of the box and a lot of people want the same old, same old. But I believe they won the season with this dance.

What a great freestyle Sharna choreographed and hearing James at the beginning and the end of the number brought the whole thing together perfectly for me. I agree with Julianne that he is the best male contestant they have ever had on the show! Good luck to James and Sharna tomorrow night - they deserve to win IMO.

How could anyone honestly hope for one of the usual razzmatazz numbers from this team? Really?
They finally dared to display the big emotions, and rightfully so! Give the people what they want, as Maks would say, and they did- but not as a calculated effect. This was straight from the heart, and the essence of James' unbelievable story as well as their partnership. It was so masterfully put together by Sharna that it easily stands for itself. You get the story and it touches you even if you haven't seen anything else of the season. I didn't know who James Hinchcliffe was 11 weeks ago. Now I do, and my admiration for Sharna reached another level if that's even possible. Many pros have claimed their fs would be something that's never been done before on the show, and then just come up with tons of tricks and props. Others strip it down to the point where it almost gets too revealing. This was so special because Sharna found her own way to balance the extremes and at the same time make it personal like no one else before. This is her masterpiece. No coincidence that it's about James.
