I was glancing at the twitter of a veteran DWTS viewer and power voter. She apparently stayed up all night and submitted over 4,000 votes for James and Sharna. She personally feels she can't call it and that it's going to be very close. She says she can figure out the possible winner depending on how the winner is edited in tonight's finale, plus the judges comments for the 24-hour fusion challenge.

I am very disappointed but I'm not surprised. I so hoped that for once the show's designated winner wouldn't happen. I've been around long enough to know nothing happens by chance on this show.

I will be watching and rewatching all of their dances in the future and I can say with certainty, none of the others. Oh, maybe the AT from Jana and Gleb but that's it.

Often when this aggravating show annoys me I watch Jeta dances until I feel better. Think I'll do that now.

Quoting myself here. Went offline way past midnight and was still hoping against hope apparently. Should have known better (and in the back of my mind, I did). I can't hold a grudge against Laurie, and I'm sure James will take it like a man and be there for his partner like he's been all season. My heart though is bleeding for Sharna. She gave everything she had to give just to find out it still wasn't enough. What a shame. I might get over it one day, but I'm not sure how long it may take. I was way too invested emotionally this season for obvious reasons to simply suck it up and move on.

Oh sis, we got ourselves another James who didn't win. Aren't their journeys even quite similar? You're right. Let's celebrate the unforgettable moments they both gave us.

By far my favorite couple, although I did like Laurie and Val. The disappointment that James and Sharna didn't win really caught me by surprise. You could see it at the end of Sharna's face where she knew that Laurie and Val were going to win.

To ease the pain I will watch some TeamStopAndGo today. They can't take that away from me!

Last night when people were blithely saying Sharna has lots of time to get a MB I remembered something from one of James' and Sharna's FB chats. They were talking about a fellow racer of James' and saying how good he would be on DWTS. James said something about "only with Sharna" then "oh no, Sharna is going to be very busy". Now I'm wondering what's up; will our Lovely Lady not be on the show next season? What a disaster that would be, no Peta, no Sharna.

I have noticed James' remark as well, sis. No Peta, no Sharna? Why bother watching next season? Just to find out they are treating Lindsay the same way as Sharna and other Lovely Ladies before? Let's be honest, it has already begun. How could Wanya not be in the finals? Why was Calvin scored more strategical than honest sometimes? Know what I mean?

James had nominated fellow IndyCar driver Josef Newgarden as the next driver to step up to the plate.

James: (directing his words to Josef) Sharna would love to partner you next season. . .or maybe I guess 2 seasons. . .because next season you're going to be busy. But you should do it.

Depending on how you read it, James could be referring to Sharna being busy, but he might also be referring to Josef. I'm guessing James is thinking that Josef is the one who will be busy. Until Sharna says so, I can't imagine her leaving DWTS unless a big opportunity comes up.

Also, check out towards the end of the All Access video of last night's finale, Dominic shows an interview he had recorded before the start of the show with James' girlfriend Rebecca and fellow IndyCar driver and friend Alexander Rossi. Of course they were both there to cheer on James. James is going to have to take Rebecca out dancing at some point!

And because this was just so incredibly beautiful. . .

Thank goodness for videos. I'm going to miss seeing them dance and laugh so much. Maybe they can pull off another FB chat in the future.
