DWTS Eighth Week SPOILERS

Just thought I'd set this up now. Haven't been on the computer all day but came in to shut it off for the night and figured I'd do it now in case anyone has anything to say. Not even going to check the threads or I'll get stuck on here posting for an hour and I am too tired. So goodnight everyone. Any thoughts for Monday's show?

Vic3 I had already started a thread for the eighth week title week eight where I had listed the dances they will be performing. Please check it out, I don't think we need two threads for the same thing - maybe grace can delete one of them. Never mind I changed the name of my thread to Eighth Week Dances.

Suggestion: PM grace and ask her to move the content of the other thread over here. If she deletes the thread, the info on who is dancing what may "go" with it. Just one of my whacky ideas.....

HI. Look what happens when I leave for a drop. I miss out. I was cleaning ALL da for two days. I am so sore. I still had the drop clothes in the room from when I left last June. After I fell when I came back I couldn't do anything. To be honest, i fmy mother were not coming tomorrow I probably would have just eft it til I get back in the fall. EVERY part in my body hurts.

Did not see the other thread and will go check. I just started this and had no idea that SLA is so speedy and two steps ahead of me. I'll go edit this and call it, if I can," Eighth Week Spoilers". if not, then I'll do nothing. Does this make sense? Too early, I'm tired:)

Unreal!!! KELLIE is in jeopardy. I am fuming. She'll probably be safe though, right? Hope so....
jacoby is in jeopardy, too.

Ingo is safe, Zendaya is safe...
Probably Sean is in jeopardy too.. let's see.

I don't think for one second that Kellie is in the bottom 2. Jacoby I could see - lots of folks seem to be put off by his mom and the recurring choreography of jumping over people. Not surprised Sean is in the jeopardy. I'll be absolutely amazed if it's anyone other than him.

It was definitely time for Sean to go. He was the weakest one left.

Peanut is just too darn cute. And how much fun was it to see Andy riding in the car with him? I think the show needs to cast Peanut for DWTS Season 40. Smile

Since when have they done 5 couples in the semi-finals? Are they cutting 2 next week or are they going to a 4-couple final? Anyone heard anything? I was expecting that two couples would leave tonight.

I don't ever remember 5 couples going to the semi-finals either so they must be going to cut 2 next week.

I agree with you that Peanut is just too darn cute and I'm glad that Ingo made it to another week so we can see at least one more week of Peanut!

Yes I agree it was time for Sean to go he really seemed to be struggling with the dances and was looking very tired IMO.

It was nice seeing Dmitry dancing tonight. I wish they would have him back on as a regular. By the way, he is 30 and 6'1".

I'm so tired of the 3 stooges they call judges I'm not sure I will watch any more. I think it will go off my watch list just like American Idol did.

Uh-oh. I just attempted to post and it took me to another page. One that said the website was too busy to show the page.

It was a l-o-n-g post. I'll recap briefly.

I'm ready to designate Derek a Broadway-ready choreographer.

Considering all the competitive reality shows I watch, it wouldn't bug me if DWTS had NO celebs.

And thanks to USN for Dmitri's height and age. lol! I really like this guy and wish they'd use him more.

OT -- How could the website be "too busy" at this hour of the morning?

As for NO celebs for DWTS, they are pretty far reaching down in the barrel. Wouldn't surprise me if the show only lasts one more season.

I agree, newto. They're trying gimmick after gimmick. If they're going to emulate SYTYCD, they need younger, physically fit "celebs" in order to have a level playing field. Otherwise, Carrie will have to deputize the other judges as "Lift Police."

Seems like they try to cover the age spectrum to keep us all happy. Personally, I'd rather see the athleticism that young people bring - OR - straight dancing without the explosive fire-works. One or the other, but not both.

With all the money they throw around on props and such, I don't see why they can't spend some to recruit an evenly matched cast.

As much as I generally dislike Derek, that routine was amazing. I can't even imagine how much work it took to choreograph that or how hard it must have been for them to dance in a box that's spinning, however slowly. That was so cool. Smile

Dmitry was a favorite of mine on SYTYCD, and I enjoyed watching him on DWTS. I don't know why they haven't used him more, but I wish they'd bring him back. It sounds like he's been in the Vegas show with Lacey, so maybe they figure he's a bigger draw there.

I liked him the second i first saw him on So YouThink You Can Dance. He would be a great addition to the show...but the stars they get may detract from the viewership. It's vbeen going down.
