DMD, I am wondering if you are still logged in on the ABC board. If you are, do you think you could post a message again directing some of our lost friends this way? I keep looking for Mayor kin and glitters and several others to no avail.

Hey sis, I tried to but got kicked out and wasn't able to sign back in. Apparently no one can any longer. But believe me, I keep trying. It would be a pity losing so many friends and fellows.

I am still on the ABC boards - "cus I'm special" - LOL!
Anyway, don't worry, I am keeping the breadcrumb trail alive and well.
Folks can still read the boards without logging in. The messages are being seen. The "view" counts goes up each day.

I'm observing that as well. Still it's a weird feeling not being able to contact them any longer. Time will tell if they find their way, but I guess quite a few will simply resign.

I've thought of doing the fb message but the posts on fb are so numerous and move so quickly it would get lost fairly swiftly. Might try anyway.

I am a Bachelor/Bachelorette fan and have been watching the shows for many years. The ABC message boards have had technical issues, so I created this board as a back up plan a couple of years back. I've been talking to many old friends on the boards for years and I hope I can continue to have conversations with them. It is a shame that ABC is pulling the plug on all the boards. I am shocked that they would do this so abruptly.

If he really would, no one could claim it was a surprise. I could understand it, but the show wouldn't be the same without him. I hope they pick a former pro. At least these people know what they are talking about. Kym apparently gets much appreciation for her job in Australia, but I don't think TPTB would invite her. There'd be three and a half women at the judges table then.

Yet another familiar name- welcome to our new playground! You mentioned the online voting. I really wonder if and how this is going to work if no one can sign in. I assume one will have to create a new account, or maybe they will give that up as well and online-voting will only be possible on fb.

You mentioned on-line voting, bro, and it got me thinking. With the message boards being scheduled for demolition the 10th of this month probably the voting procedure will stay the same with all existing accounts miraculously able to sign in for voting. Thousands of people vote online so I don't think ABC will mess with that. Probably won't matter to this Canadian who was disenfranchised last season. Then again, maybe one of the Canadian networks will buy the show and we will become persons again in ABC's eyes!

Lesallee - just get an "American" email address if you want to vote. Something from Gmail, Yahoo, etc. Tell ABC you live in the USA. No big deal.

Thanks, Starz, that would be a consideration. I am still able to vote via fb so for all the difference my few votes make that will probably suffice.

Just read that Tony is still talking about how much he wants to be a judge. With the rumours swirling that DWTS is interviewing for Len's position I guess he wants to keep his name front and centre.

I don't know how I feel about Tony; I like him quite well enough as a dancer but judging is a whole other thing. I would suppose a male replacement for Len is a slam dunk given that there are already two females on the judges pew.
