Since there will be two episodes back to back, I thought I ought to create an Episode 8 thread.

The TV Guide on-line is showing two shows tonight that both say new.  One at 8:00pm for 1 hour that is the Chris Tells All and then another one from 9:00 to 11:00 pm that is the episode 7.  I don't know if I will be able to stay awake for 3 hours of this silliness. Rolling Eyes

It was distracting to watch Andi wipe nose snot in her hair.  And so obvious that the lack of tissues (in the entire set?) was deliberate.  Good grief. Gimme a break.  Hand her a rag!  Do they think we're all that naive?  I found CH to be callous in his demeanor as he questioned her.  And those perfunctory words of solace?  BS!

I felt a little sad for Kaitlyn last night.  She's lost her bounce and enthusiasm - perhaps from seeing Chris so blatantly favor Britt.

Britt's display of entitlement last night did her no favors.  She seems to see herself as THE one.  Her comment that Chris gave Kaitlyn a validation rose was demeaning to Kaitlyn.  Some have suggested they had sex during their "nap."  It would explain why she moves in at every opportunity.  And I've gotten the vibe from Chris that bringing home a gorgeous beauty like Britt would be like winning the football trophy.  But between the lies and her little confrontation, I'm thinking she'll go.

Personally, the life Chris offers is one I'd have jumped at in my younger years.  One that offers the morals and manners I grew up with - a great place to raise children.  But I don't like most sports.  That date to the high school football game would have had me counting the minutes until it was over.

Sadly, I'm getting that same "deceptive" vibe from Whitney - a girl who says what you want to hear.  That gushing southern charm (from KY?) I've often experienced.

I think Carly and Jade will be next to bite the dust.  Followed by Britt.

Greg Edwards, President and CEO of the Des Moines Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (www.catchdesmoines.com) said the organization offered the show $70,000 to “offset the costs of production.”  Does The Bachelor gets paid in every city they visit?

Chris Soules,
Bachelor 19 - Episode 8 Discussions Dec2_TheBachelor_LeadTHE BACHELOR:
VISITING THE HOME TOWNS

Monday at 8/7c on ABC

CHRIS JOINS THE FOUR REMAINING BACHELORETTES IN THEIR HOMETOWNS, BUT ONLY AFTER EXPLOSIVE DRAMA AND MAJOR SURPRISES SET OFF FIREWORKS, ON ABC’S “THE BACHELOR”
“The Bachelor” Two-Night Special Event Concludes Monday, February 16, With an All New Episode

After Britt’s epic meltdown, Chris turns his attention to Becca and the two have a one-on-one date, discussing their possible future together. Will Becca reveal that she, too, is a virgin? Britt has her bags packed, but will she make good on her threat to leave? Chris drops a bomb that sends shockwaves through the remaining women. After the rose ceremony, Chris travels cross country to visit the final four bachelorettes’ hometowns, and he gets more than he bargained for: heartwarming family moments, candid confessions and surprising revelations. The Bachelor is faced with a daunting problem: he is falling in love with more than one woman and needs to send home one heartbroken bachelorette, on the conclusion of the special two-night event, on “The Bachelor,” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Chris and Becca talk about their slowly developing relationship and she admits that she has never been in love, but is excited about the possibilities of a future with the dashing Bachelor. But back at the hotel suite, Britt, considered one of the frontrunners for Chris’ heart, is promising to throw in the towel, or is it all an act?

Britt anxiously awaits the opportunity to talk to Chris at the cocktail party to attempt to recover from her debacle, but it never happens. Just as the rose ceremony is about to start, she pulls Chris away for a chat. In a stunning turn of events, the Bachelor startles the remaining women with a surprising move.

After the rose ceremony, Chris starts his exciting whirlwind trip to visit the final four women’s hometowns, and continues his search to find lasting love. In the first hometown, he spends a relaxing day with one bachelorette but her family is overly protective and they share some surprising information about his date.

Traveling to the second hometown, Chris is impressed with the high-tech workplace of this successful bachelorette. However, a family member threatens to derail their romance by refusing Chris’s request for their blessing. Is there anything this woman can do about it?

Chris gets to display his “prowess” at rapping at a recording studio as he meets another woman in her hometown. The couple records a rap love song about their journey together. Later, a heart-to-heart conversation with her mother makes the woman realize that she has had her guard up since her last heartbreak, and she finds a very public – and quirky – way to change that.

Chris’ conversations with the bachelorette’s family on the last hometown date hint at the other side to the woman’s personality.  But nothing can prepare him for what happens when she finally decides to come clean with him and share her surprising secret. How will Chris respond? A tense, dramatic rose ceremony brings heartache to one devastated bachelorette. The three remaining lucky ladies head to exotic Bali as their romantic journey nears an end.

The six remaining women are:

Becca, 25, chiropractic assistant, San Diego, CA
Britt, 27, waitress, Hollywood, CA
Carly, 29, cruise ship singer, Arlington, TX
Jade, 28, cosmetics developer, Los Angeles, CA
Kaitlyn, 29, dance instructor, Vancouver, BC
Whitney, 29, fertility nurse, Chicago, IL

Hosted by Chris Harrison, “The Bachelor” is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. THE BACHELOR:

RECAP FOR MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2015

Chris has concerns about Britt after she made a fuss over not getting the rose, and chooses to take Becca out for a date.  Joining him in his loft, the talk turns serious as she confides in him that she has never been in love. She tells him that if he proposed today she might not say yes, but she feels very comfortable with him and it may lead to love. To us she says that the date was amazing and she had an overwhelming wish for the day not to end.

Back at the hotel the girls discuss Britt's reaction to not getting the rose and how unsettled Chris was when she displayed her disappointment and irritation. Carly tells the others that Chris told her that if she was unhappy she could go home. Britt comes into the room and announces she has packed her stuff and she plans to go home. She wants to speak to Chris first. Whitney confides in us that from night one Britt has gotten everything she wanted and now that Chris has formed other relationships, she is struggling. Carly hopes that she leaves.

The girls prep for their last rose ceremony before the hometown dates and Whitney hopes for a rose tonight to move their relationship forward.  Britt announces that she wants to tell Chris that she is not prepared for him to visit her family and that it is time for her to go home. She is looking for closure. Chris Harrison joins them to announce that there will be no cocktail party tonight.  He says that Chris has clarity in his decision and is ready to move forward with the rose ceremony.

The girls join him for the rose ceremony and Chris begins to speak, but Britt interrupts him and asks him for a moment.  Chris grants it to her and out in the atrium, the others speculate that she is either looking for validation or wants the first word in leaving. Carly hopes that he sees through it and Whitney feels he will be convinced to keep her. In the privacy of the study, the two discuss her reaction to seeing Arlington and her reaction to seeing the rose go to another the evening before.  When Chris tells her that he has heard from others that she has not been totally honest and that Carly's reaction is what he is looking for, Britt abruptly says her goodbyes, hugs him and then leaves.  Outside she is sobbing and crying.  Carly grins and says that the most beautiful girl in the room who has always been so special is now just like any other girl.  Britt, outside, is sobbing because she totally trusted Carly and she did not keep her confidences.

Chris takes a few minutes to gather his composure and then rejoins the ladies. He announces that he just sent Britt home.  He says it is for the best because there was something missing there and he appreciates those who spoke up to him.  He wants honesty from them and he will give them honesty. He proceeds with the rose ceremony and offers Whitney a rose. Becca is also offered a rose. Jade is offered his final rose.  Carly hugs it out with the girls and then with Chris as he walks her out. Jade worries about Carly because she loved Chris and was picturing herself in Iowa.  Carly says that her heart is broken and she is really sad.  She feels that she deserves someone who loves all of her and why does no one want her?

Chris begins his hometown dates and Becca is the first to host him in her hometown. As they paddle the swamp through the cypress trees in her hometown of Louisiana she informs him that there are alligators in the water and they quickly see one laying out on a downed tree limb. Becca tells him that she has never brought anyone home to meet her family. It is a large family and she is excited to share him with her family.  Chris immediately feels at home with her family. They tease her that they have never seen her hold hands with a guy. Becca's sister shares with Chris that Becca is not an intimate person who holds hands in public, and she was surprised to see Becca and Chris connecting physically.  Chris listens and then becomes concerned that Becca may not be able to become close with him. He says that this enlightens him to concerns that he should have with her. Becca's mom explains that Becca is not one who easily becomes close to someone so the fact that she has kissed him is very meaningful.  Becca's mom shares her concerns that Becca may get hurt and tells him not to hurt her but be sweet and tender.  Chris says that at this point he has serious feelings for her. Becca is happy that her family loves him and she thanks him for an amazing day and for just being here tonight. He asks her to come with him and they go to the State Fair to go on the ferris wheel.  As they travel on the ferris wheel, Becca feels butterflies and thinks that she may remember that this is the day when she fell in love.

Whitney is excited to welcome Chris to her hometown of Chicago. She tells him that since he has family here she will not give him a tour of a city, but instead take him to her job at the Global Genetics Institute. They dress out in scrubs and fertilize eggs.  Whitney shares the man room with him, and Chris says that he is pretty sure his soldiers are marching just fine.

Whitney is excited to welcome Chris to her hometown of Chicago. They dress out in scrubs and fertilize eggs.  Whitney shares the man room with him, and Chris says that he is pretty sure his soldiers are marching just fine.

Whitney doesn't have a traditional family since her mother passed away, but her Uncle Johnny serves as the patriarch of the family.  Chris says that she is an amazing woman and Johnny says that she is both strong and vulnerable. Whitney speaks with her sister and tells her that they have a real connection with Chris, and her sister says that he lives in a very small town and how will she cope without her support system.  Whitney says that she wants Kim not to ruin this for her and Kim says that unless he can say that he loves her and she is his one and only, she cannot give her blessing.  When Chris asks Kim for her blessing, Kim says to call her when she is not one of four, but the only one for him.

Kaitlyn meets Chris in an alley with dumpsters and Chris doesn't know what to expect.  She plans for him to record a rap with her at a studio.  They discuss white water rafting and Jimmy Kimmel. They write the lyrics together and she is surprised by the depth of his feelings. Kaitlyn does well with the rap, but Chris leaves a lot to be desired.  He says that Kaitlyn would make life fun and Kaitlyn says that what they have is undeniable, but going "there" is scary.  She hopes that her family loves him like she does because their opinion means the world to her. Chris meets both her biological and step-family. Kaitlyn's mom is glad that Chris can see the love in their family. She asks Kaitlyn how she is feeling and Kaitlyn sees herself falling in love with him and sees a future with him.  Her mom's main concern is for Kaitlyn's heart. Her mom says that she thinks that Kaitlyn is just waiting for the other shoe to drop, but she sees a light in her eyes and thinks she should let her wall down. Kaitlyn wants to just let it happen and she takes Chris out on the boulevard and shows him a billboard of lights with Kaitlyn hearts Chris.  Chris sees things moving forward with her and upon seeing the billboard sweeps her up in the air, twirls her around, and hugs her.

His final hometown date is with Jade who has a secret that she needs to share with Chris. Jade's secret weighs heavy on her and she wants him to learn it from her and not her family. Chris shares with her family that she had the princess date and also was chosen by her family to go on a hometown date. Chris expresses that he loves her hometown values and he feels that he is falling in love with her. Her dad explains that Jade is someone who lives free and he wants her to be love. Her brothers explain that she is a free spirit and a wild mustang and Chris is surprised as he has seen a shy side and not a wild side of her. Chris hears from her brother that she might struggle to live in a small town. Jade speaks with her dad and lets him know that she has not totally shared who she is with him and her dad assures her that when she settles down she needs to do it with someone who is going to love her the way she is, and he trusts her heart.

Jade decides to tell Chris that she has posed for Playboy and he deserves to know all of her. She is worried about being rejected and feels that he will either accept her or reject her based on the information. Jade tells Chris that she is a free spirit and lives life according to her own rules. She tells him that there are some things about her that will surprise him and she tells him that she has been judged on what she is about to share. She says in a period of her life when she was feeling liberated she said yes to posing nude for Playboy. She hopes that it doesn't change his opinion of her. She offers to share the photos with him and he tells her that if it makes her feel more comfortable then sure. He says that he didn't see this coming. Jade brings it up on the laptop and he grins and even looks away when she shares the most revealing photos.  He says that it feels odd and even inappropriate to look at them. Chris says that he saw Jade as an innocent and shy girl and didn't expect that to be a part of her past. She asks for his opinion and Chris blushes.  He tells her that he is judging her for the person that she is and that he loves her. He tells her not to feel bad about that and it is not something that will affect their relationship.  He respects her and now understands why her family speaks of her the way they do. He says that it is too hard to find a soulmate and he found a lot about her today that really confirmed the way he felt. Jade says that she feels unbelievably relieved. She finds that the way he handled it and the way he didn't judge her to be incredible.  Chris says that he was waiting to see her out of her shell and he saw it today. He doesn't see this as a deal breaker. He says that it is a challenge for small town Iowa and the people he knows and loves there as they are rather conservative, but if she is his soulmate, they will deal with it.

Chris is back in Iowa and finds that he has to eliminate another girl.  He admits that he is falling in love, but he is falling in love with multiple women.  He says that tonight is the toughest night he has had in his entire life. He offers the first rose to Whitney. The second goes to Kaitlyn and the last goes to Becca.  He says his goodbyes to Jade and after Jade hugs it out with the girls, she goes to Chris and gives him a huge hug with a smile. They walk out together. He tells her that she is an amazing person and that the only thing to it is that relationships with other women have moved ahead faster and it is nothing to do with what she shared with him.  He says that he doesn't know if he is making the right decision, but it is the best he can do at this time. He wants her to know that he is richer for having her in his life.  He puts Jade in the car and watches as it pulls away, tearing up as he turns to go back inside.  Jade says she was falling in love with him and didn't see this coming. She says that her heart is broken.

Chris says that she poured her heart out with him and he says that he could be making the biggest mistake in his entire life, but he will continue to second guess himself as he moves forward.

Join The Bachelor for the next episode where Chris finds himself on the exotic island of Hawaii and faces the fantasy suite with three lovely women as the field narrows.

Did anyone else see the significance of Britt sitting on the curb to cry?  That's where she'd been kicked.  lol.  I wondered why there was no car waiting for the rose ceremony reject.  They had a plan.

I think the only contenders are Becca and Whitney.  Kaitlyn seems to have thrown in the towel.  No big kisses any longer, just pecks we're seeing.  She's too young at heart to live in no man's land.  Not much call for rap on a farm.

I like both of my finalists and will be pleased with whomever he chooses.

I'm sure there was a limousine waiting somewhere.  TPTB just didn't let us see it.  Trying to show us another contender left stranded in the middle of nowhere; nothing new with that scenario.

As for Kaitlyn, I think she will end up in the "friend" zone.

Here is the link to Chris's (Soules) blog for episode 8.  I found what he had to say about his HTD with Becca very interesting and very nice.  I would really like to see them together, Whitney is also okay but for some reason I favor Becca.  I could do without her sister Katie though.  LOL!

Bachelor 19 - Episode 8 Discussions Empty Re: Bachelor 19 - Episode 8 Discussions

Post by rkc1960 Tue Feb 17, 2015 7:25 pm

A lot to talk about after two nights of episodes plus the interviews the first night.

Kelsey in her interview didn't surprise me. I knew she would act surprised that the other women didn't seem to like her. I find it interesting that when CH asked her if she thought she was better than the other girls that she took an eternity to answer. That kind of gave her away even though she said she didn't feel that way. So the editing as usual changed the meaning of her word "crucified" from the preview. Apparently she is hesitant to go to WTA because she is afraid SHE will be crucified. Well girlfriend, you dished it out so now it's time to suck it up and take it.

Chris' interview didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. The only interesting part was when CH was describing how Ashley S. would roam the house at night and wander over to where the crew hung out. So apparently she truly was a space cadet.

(Sigh) Andi, Andi, Andi...I am so over that chick and wish they would just send her away. I knew she was going to be slobbering all over herself. If I were to guess I believe it was probably her way of wanting to be Queen Bee and her attitude of self importance and not thinking Josh had anything of importance to say that probably caused him to walk away. A friend of his pretty much hinted that that was the reason. No surprise there. I think we all pretty much predicted that would happen.

Well, glad Britt is finally gone. Chris wasted too much time on that chick. I don't know whether it was just all of the attention he showed her or if he maybe slept with her during their closed door "nap" time but she certainly was feeling entitled. That little fit she threw after Chris gave Kaitlyn the rose on their group date was her downfall especially after Carly told him of her concerns with Britt. It was interesting that she told the girls she had already made up her mind to leave and packed her bags and yet it almost seemed as if she was STILL trying to turn things around when she pulled him aside at the rose ceremony. You could tell by his demeanor that he had already made up his mind she was going home and he pretty much didn't want to hear what she had to say. And it didn't help matters that she kept trying to interrupt him and talk through him. I was waiting for him to just tell her to shut the hell up and just leave already. LOL. It was kind of funny that when she was insistent on him telling her whether it was Carly that he finally was closed mouthed and snapped at her, "Does it matter?" Truth is that it really DOESN'T matter because as much as she was blubbering that Carly threw her under the bus she kind of did that herself. Her mistake was to tell the other girls one thing and telling him something else. Did she really think it wouldn't get back to him? It will be interesting to see if Britt tries to verbally attack Carly at WTA. Something tells me that it won't end well for her because Carly seems more than willing to stand up for herself and speak what's on her mind. On a side note, I would love to know what brand of lipstick Britt uses. Not the color, good Lord no, but the brand because it didn't matter how much she was kissing on Chris her lipstick always seemed to be intact. LOL. She is a pretty girl but much like Ashley I. she really could stand to tune the makeup down.

Carly knew she would be the next to go but I still felt bad for her because she seems to really be down on herself. Maybe with her being on this show some guys might show some interest. Not sure why she says she can't hold onto a man.

Kaitlyn's HTD was okay but it does seem as if someone has let the air out of her balloon a bit.

Whitney's was good but I don't know why it was so important for them to ask for her sister's approval. I have to say that while watching her in action at her job I was very impressed and could understand why a job like that would be so rewarding. The thought did occur to me however that it would have been so freaking funny if when they took Chris into that room where the "magic" occurred that it just so happened that Jade's Playboy video would have aired. It would have been kind of hysterical. I know, I'm a bit "Jaded" Twisted Evil

I really like Becca but after her HTD I'm starting to wonder about her ability to be intimate. If she would just loosen up a little I think they would be cute together. I can't help but wonder if something happened to her at one point to make her be afraid of men. Her sister really threw her under the bus though. It almost seemed as if she wanted to push Chris away from her sister by what she was saying. She couldn't have possibly thought Chris would enjoy hearing that.

I have to say I personally am glad Jade is now gone. She is still so much of a mystery in that she comes off sweet and even shy but yet...I don't know....I just don't get it. I think her brother said a mouthful. In saying she was a free spirit, a wild mustang, that she moved out to LA to start a modeling career and that he said that he didn't think she would actual want to be "yanked" out of LA to move to a small town...he obviously gave Chris a lot to think about.  I'm kind of surprised that when she told him about the nude modeling that she even suggested him watching it. He looked very uncomfortable. She was smiling an awful lot when she was telling him about it and showing him the pictures that it didn't seem to jive with her on the other hand talking like it was not one of her greatest decisions in life to do it. Again....a mystery. I don't care what he told her but I think it did in fact influence his decision to let her go. Remember when she was walking away at the end of her date that he was saying that it might be a problem to deal with in his little conservative town and therefore it would be something he would have to deal with? Maybe he really didn't want to deal with it considering there were other girls in the running. He even said in his blog that during her HTD that he realized he didn't know her as much as he thought. I'm sorry, but I think she should have fessed up about it earlier than she did. I just believe that before you get serious in any relationship that you need to let the other person know if there are any possible deal breakers....BEFORE any serious  feelings start to develop. Her own brother even said that in his PI. Maybe if she had let him know of the "other Jade" before this, maybe it could have turned out different. From what Chris said maybe he kind of felt a little deceived. Every one makes choices in life and with that comes taking responsibility of any fallout from those choices. It was insinuated that other boyfriends have had issues with it so  she should have learned from that. Then you also have her criminal record. I do wish her luck in finding someone at some point but she just may have a hard time of it with so many skeletons in her closet. I also watched her interview on GMA and she seemed to insinuate that she thought that maybe Chris wasn't being 100% truthful that the Playboy thing made up his mind about sending her home.

rkc I agree with you on the "Chris Tells All" hour and I really hope that that is the last we have to see of Andi.   Actually I saw a little of Andi in Britt - they both are all about themselves and want everything there way or no way.  I would have preferred that they showed some more of the dates that went on and just done away with that other meaningless garble.

Boy am I glad Britt is gone and I was so happy that Chris sent her to the curb and she did not get to leave on her own.  I loved it when he told her that her behavior was not what he wanted in a wife ~ I'm sure she didn't expect that out of him but I'm so glad he stood his ground with her.  I sure don't want to see her as the next Bachelorette and her annoying behavior really took away from the attractiveness people saw in her in the beginning.  She was not at all attractive to me the last few episodes.

I put the link to Chris' blog above and he discussed all four HTD's and he was very complimentary about Becca's HTD.  They did not show a large portion of that date and in regards to what her sister said it sure reminded me of what Cat's sisters did to her during her HTD with Sean.  I really think that was TPTB that instigated that sisterhood bad mouthing the contestants.  Here is a little of what Chris said in his blog regarding Becca's HTD:  "   What you don't know is that day with Becca's family was actually her birthday! I had given her a gift (a necklace and bracelets), and that's why I set up that special Ferris wheel ride. Becca had told me the state fair was in town and how much she loved it, so I arranged to go there after it closed, to take her on a special birthday ride. I'm not going to lie, it was one of the most romantic moments of my life, and in that moment, Becca did not seem scared of intimacy."

He had the nicest things to say about Becca and Whit's HTDs.  I think you might like to read it and you will possibly get a different feel for Becca's HTD.  I will say that that Ferris Wheel ride at the end of the date was very romantic and had some pretty hot kisses going on.  I am questioning the spoiler somewhat now, especially with Becca getting back-to-back one on one dates.

I am looking forward to seeing what transpires on the next episode with the Fantasy Suite dates.

Thanks for the link, SLA.  It was interesting.

Strange, that Chris found Becca's family so appealing considering what they showed us.  Her sister landed a pro football players, but didn't seem to want Becca to have a shot at love.  Talk about sabotage.  She seems nothing like the cold fish who was described.  Chris has appeared pleased with their dates.

He also seems to thoroughly enjoy himself with Whitney.  Just not sure she can maintain a career with Arlington as a home base.  Her work seems quite important to her.  Winter travel?

At this point, I think we've all but eliminated Kaitlyn.  No romance on the home town date.  At first, I was turned off by the potty mouth.  But she grew on me.  I quite like her now.  Do we expect her to be the next 'ette?

SLA, I actually had already read Chris' blog. I have no doubt that we have seen chemistry between Chris and Becca, but my concern is can that continue and move onto something better is Becca has intimacy issues? I don't think her sister and mother would have brought it up at all if it didn't exist. I just can't help but wonder if something had happened to make her that way if at her age she has issues with it. If Chris was so infatuated with his "man crush" at Becca's HTD I'm just wondering if that is part of why he was gushing about her HTD so much.

It may come down to what the girls left express as to how they feel about him because he seems to have real chemistry with Whitney also. They seem to laugh a lot together.

Kaitlyn is pretty much out of the mix so I would rather see her as the next 'ette. As you said Singly, I too wasn't sure about her truck driver talk at first but she did grow on you. CH did an interview and he talked about the two he wouldn't mind seeing as the next 'ette and he only talked about two....Kaitlyn and Britt. He needs to watch saying these things in interviews before the season advances to that point because he basically gave it away because Britt hadn't been  eliminated at that point and obviously neither has Kaitlyn. Anyway, he said that Britt would be interesting because she's so beautiful and he thought men would flock to be on her season...I guess sort of like JP and women and we all saw how that turned out. Looks are not everything. I think her lies and manipulation should make her ineligible for the role. Who wants someone that would tell them one thing then go and tell her friends something else? She showed a not too nice side that hopefully they will rethink any desire to keep her in the running. And, I agree with what you said SLA, it was so funny to watch Chris get the opportunity to dump her before she got the chance to beat him to the punch. If she had just shut up then maybe it wouldn't have happened that way. LOL. I think Kaitlyn would make it interesting and funny. Men like humor in their women. I don't even want to think about the rumors of a repeat performance by Andi. If they did that they may get a huge backlash because people SERIOUSLY don't like her. Besides, she is supposed to be so broken up over Josh still so someone give her a box of tissues for her snotty nose and put baby in the corner.

Anyway, as I said I think it will come down to who Chris feels he would have a better chance at long term with. He obviously has chemistry with Whitney and Becca but if he has any doubts about Becca and intimacy and having never told a guy she loves them then that may be the deciding factor for him. Whitney's reaction to telling him she loves him did in fact look genuine, and I always have my doubts with that on this show. Usually they say it and it looks forced but Whitney getting choked up when she said it made it look genuine. I don't see a problem with Whitney and traveling for work. I know people that travel long distances every day for work because they love what they do and make good money at it. And it's usually people that love living where they do and don't want to live in the big cities so they are willing to travel.
