I didn't think that Chris was just into blondes but I think RS maybe into blondes and models. The gal that Chris had the long relationship was a brunette and so was Andi which made me think that maybe he liked brunettes. Who knows?

I really do not like that hair style and haven't seen one guy that I thought it was flattering on. The Bach franchise really needs to get a new stylist IMO.

I think if the hair on top was a bit shorter, it would look better. My youngest son wears his hair similar to this style. His hair is shorter on the sides, and is only about a 1/2" or less on top. It looks nice on him.

ABC must really be in love with its new Bachelor.

TVLine has learned exclusively that theThe Bachelor‘s latest cycle — premiering Monday Jan. 5 and starring Bachelorette reject Chris Soules — will be three hours long.
It’ll also be telecast live.

RELATED 2015 Renewal Scorecard: What’s Coming Back? What’s Getting Cancelled? What’s on the Bubble?

According to a source, the super-sized opener will feature recorded elements (such as the traditional limo drop-off), but large chunks of the episode will be broadcast live. (Similar to the After the Final Rose specials, the premiere will find host Chris Harrison holding court in front of a studio audience; past Bachelor and Bachelorettecouples and/or singles will also be on hand to lend their commentary).

I know newto I think it will be filled with a lot of fluff that won't even be about Chris or his season. Since I don't have cable and a DVR I will be stuck suffering through the whole thing myself. I hope I will be pleasantly surprised but I won't hold my breath. I have been a Chris supporter since I first saw something about him from before Andi's season started but this worries me about a three hour premier - it would be fine if they would show more of the conversations with the gals but I don't think that is going to happen.

That was my feelings also newto but there are some on other boards that thought it was cute or funny - Not me though. I think TPTB were going for "corny" and they certainly achieved it.

I'm pissed off! Last week when going through my list of yahoo news stories, some idiot decided he was going to be an....well...IDIOT and put a headline on his story about this season complete with the name of the girl that according to Reality Steve is the winner! No warning of it being a spoiler in the story....just flat out gave it away in the title!!!! That had to be an act of spite because I can't believe someone would be that stupid! Just ruined it for everyone who saw it in one big swoop!

Beginning with Sean's season, I saw no connection or romantic sparks between the lead and his love. Some say they did. I didn't. It's gotten to the point I might peek at RS so I can watch a particular girl to see if those sparks exist or have been edited out.

In the more recent seasons, the editors have done their best to remove any inkling of whom the lead is falling for. I don't mind when they have two front-runners. At least we can observe and guess. But to be denied any access at all is frustrating to me.

I think most all of us watch to see a love blossom. Then, we want to see the Bach pick the girl WE think is best for him. Unfortunately, the last couple of seasons have been more red herrings than true clues. The last time I saw sparks were between Ashley and JP.

Sorry, rkc, that it's been spoiled for you. TPTB have left me somewhat cold about the show because they've taken away the main course.

Btw, Do any of you watch The Taste? I don't usually watch cooking shows but this cooking competition keeps my attention. The second season started this week and even though the contestants are normally people that we don't know, I was surprised to see Renee Oteri from JP's season competing. She's so cute with her baby bump

Yes I do watch The Taste and I too was surprised to see Renee on there and was also sorry to see her be the first one to be eliminated. She looks happy though and that is what counts IMO. Do you think we need a thread for The Taste?

When I look at some of the hometowns and some of the careers, I want to scratch many of the candidates off the list.

Just don't see LA, Chicago, or NY girls opting for farm life. And a DC news producer seems locked into DC.

A third of these ladies can be eliminated with careers that won't take well to a small-town locale. But I could see the waitress, fisher-woman, nanny, and cake-decorator taking the plunge, along with a few others. Smile

I thought it is time to have a fresh photo on the main page. So I picked a popular photo of Chris and flanked him with the two best looking bachelorettes (in my opinion). Hope that is OK. Feel free to make changes if you dislike it.

I have not read any spoilers. Since I got rid of TV in my house (there is really not much interesting to watch on TV these days), I'll watch the Bachelor on ABC's website on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
