Overjoyed that you've returned, Mayor Kincaid. I recognized that right away, bro. You're a very clever man!DeadManDancing wrote:Now that our mayor is back (hopefully to stay), it may be time to reveal a little detail none of you has noticed so far. Remember when abc kicked us out of Chongatroydville so rudely and we built ourselves a new home, I came up with the Name St. Peta s burg that everyone appreciated. Now see the little twist I gave it- being the Sharna-addict that I am.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
James may not have had a perfect night last night (it was sad seeing his name at the bottom of the leaderboard ), but to look on the more positive side--
*Despite the critiques the judges still love him.
*Idina Menzel said James looks hot in green and that she would share the stage with him anytime.
*James and Calvin had a great time working on their team dance. There's bromance rumors now.
Plus I think it's the best version of a western-themed Paso Doble so far.
Team Last Men Standing
*Best of all is seeing these two live to dance next week (and I think it's going to happen).
James and Sharna will win!

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I loved both of James dances. That Jazz was a difficult and intricate dance and James and Jenna performed the heck out of it. Yes, it looked like a Broadway show in keeping with the theme. Far more so than any of the others
performances. Underscored I think, but I also think the judges had an agenda last night.
Last Men Standing was my favourite dance of the night. James and Calvin and their bromance made it so much fun and some darn good dancing happened too. Again underscored.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
The Jazz routine wasn't flawless, so maybe it didn't deserve tens. I'd put it the other way round: compared to it, even with the little mistake, some others were overscored. Whatever.
James and Calvin together cracked me up in their rehearsal video- and then they went and nailed the most difficult team dance of all. Pull out the stops and just go, James. You got this.
I just hope I never see Sharna cry again. Let me just say I was glad no one else was in the room when I watched that.

I think James shares your sentiments about Sharna in tears, bro. They are A TEAM and are on the same wavelength.

That is why I secretly hope they get the Argentine Tango next week. With the connection they have developed now (don't listen, Sharna, but the injury was maybe a blessing in regards to that) it should be breathtaking no matter if they do it Savchenko or Clifton style.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
Sharna tweets she is thinking about moving back to Australia or re-locating to Canada. Hinch says he knows a guy, he'll put in a word for her.
Come to Canada, Sharna, we will welcome you whole heartedly.
An aside here: The Canadian Immigration website crashed last night from overwhelming traffic.

I hope she only said that in the heat of the moment. I cannot even imagine DWTS without her (or maybe I'd have to watch the Australian version then).
Btew: your crashing website made it into the news in Germany this morning.

I hear you, sis. Maybe we could proclaim the United Territories of St.Petasburg, Chongatroydville, and Hinchtown, and offer her to become a citizen? President Kincaid sounds good to me.

Hey, Sis and Bro, I read somewhere in my meandering this a.m. that Sharna will dance next week. So maybe we get our AT we've been wanting!

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I believe I read that somewhere too. The only thing is whether it will be just James and Sharna (I hope it is) because apparently there will also be the trio dance. Jenna would be brought in for that one and we don't know what the trio dance officially is going to be yet.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I think I saw something that Sharna said about the trio dance and that it would be James with his two lovely ladies, Sharna and Jenna. I didn't see anything about the dance style.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
James has had Sharna, he's had Jenna, and now he's going to have both these beauties together. It can't get better than that.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
To me it sounded like in their package that she was cleared to dance, but she wanted to wait until semis so she would be at less risk to dance full on.
I do believe she will be dancing with James next Monday night
the amazing 'JamesBurg' will be back wowing us with their awesome chemistry and wonderful dancing with a side of the delightful Jenna!!!

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
Here is a sweet moment from a DWTS recap of the Halloween Night show.
Plus this pic from their Week 2 Paso Doble. I like that no matter what happens, these two want to finish their journey together.

The unthinkable has occurred: Someone on DWTS has finally listened to a doctor, and not just some throwaway contestant either. Our beloved pro Sharna’s supposed to take three to six weeks off following a flare-up of a former knee reconstruction. Oof. As we all shudder and grab our bum legs due to sudden-onset phantom knee pain, behold this couple’s thousand-yard “I love and respect you 1000 percent and you’ll always be my Partner” gaze.
“I know a thing or two about not rushing a recovery,” the once-impaled Indy car driver told her. It was perfect, and so were they. Sniff! We may never know if they’d have won that mirrorball together. But the silver or, shall we say, deeply bronzed lining of the situation is that James wasn’t just good with Queen Sharna. He’s a damn good partner, period.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I normally don't have access to Instastory, so it's nice to sometimes see one that gets uploaded to YouTube. Here is a quiet moment between James and Sharna from Monday night--and James' concern that his mistake in the jazz number could cost them the finals.
A pic likely prior to their chat above. Note James on the right about to pop his head in.

I don't think you screwed up a single thing James. You are super popular all over social media. More people are talking about Team StopAndGo than any other team.
