IMO Mario was the best dancer ever on the show. He lost the popularity contest because Emmett was more likeable. Mario was ripped to shreds on the ABC MB for his cheating ways.

The first time I ever watched I only watched a few of the dances on the UT.I thought this dance was so much fun and I really loved the music too.

My favorite star on the show without question or doubt was Giles Marini. Should have won his season and was robbed of the win in the All Star Season by TPTB with all the "gripe & whine parts of the rehersal footage that soured him in the eyes of the voters.
This dance still sends absolute chills down my spine:

My next favorite was Mario  Lopez. I agree with shary. He was really good and had an excellent partner. I saw no cheating on either ones part.

I have so many likes and favorites but these have always stood strong in my memory "banks". I have Giles' AT on "file" so I don't have to go looking it up all the time I want to see it again.

Perhaps I'll come back in and post a few others.

I enjoyed all of Alfonso and Witney's dances, but their Salsa seemed to sum up best how well they worked together during their season.  During their dancing on the upper stage their rhythm and partnering seemed to flow so naturally.  It's not surprising that they would perform another version of the Salsa for the DWTS 10th Anniversary show.  

The "booty" song was pitched in this video for copyright reasons.  I think both Alfonso and Witney were actually nursing injuries at the same time during rehearsals for this dance.  They did a great job pulling off such physical choreography.

In honor of Emma's first Mirrorball with Rashad, here was her first ever Freestyle in her first season as a pro with Bill Engvall (Season 17).  What a Freestyle she created for Bill--complete with Indiana Jones hat, whip, and a giant rolling Mirrorball!.  They knew they were not going to win or even earn a "10", but they had worked hard to at least get "9" from Len--which he finally gave them for this dance.

Absolutely loved this team !! ... Bill and Emma had such a great time and this dance was just wonderful.
