DWTS Season 21

Just trying to see if we can add new topics to this forum.

I'm not exactly sure where this is showing up, but at least we can post here.  It's a little less overwhelming than the thread on the front page.  But people can post wherever they feel comfortable - one or the other or both. 

So it's probably old news by now to everyone, but so far four celebrities have been announced and confirmed by ABC for this season - Bindi Irwin, Steve Irwin's (Crocodile Hunter) daughter, Victor Espinoza, Triple-Crown-winning jockey, Nick Carter (former member of The Backstreet Boys and now solo artist?), and Hayes Grier, a social media star.  Bindi and Hayes are both teens - 17 and 15, respectively. 

Other names being rumored - Paula Deen, Alexa Vega, Carlos somebody who is married to Alexa, and Chaka Khan. No official confirmation from ABC yet, though, on those.

Let's hope this couple has better luck than Ty Murray and Jewel did where she had to bow out because of an injury before the show aired its first episode. 
  Assuming, of course, that they are actually on the show.  ABC has not yet confirmed them.

I know there has been a lot of speculation as to the pairings, but so far ABC has not announced anything, so I'm not worrying too much about that.  I think I saw that the full cast and pairings would be announced on Sept. 2, so that's next week.

I am sorry and don't want to rain on any parades, but I find it confusing to have two areas for DWTS. Especially since the other one already has multiple topics under it.

I am new here so the main one is the only one I know. I do know that Bach made it on the main menu so it would be more prominent. Perhaps he moved the one you call original to the main menu and now you all have created a second one?

For me there is so much jumping around to read everything. Yes, there were a lot of threads on ABC - however - there was a board for the Bachelor, one for the Bach'ette, and one for DWTS. They are ALL here on one board, plus the Other Shows, like AGT and UnREAL. Even the Song Game, which was one thread on DWTS is now in another category with a tons of other games.
I am constantly clicking on all these various topics. Having 2 DWTS is too much for me. So far, everything said on this one is already said on the other one. What's the point??

The Archived thread are PAST seasons. He made Season 21 on the main menu.

Bach made a "front page" listing for DWTS as it was thought it would attract more DWTS fans to this forum if it were prominently listed.  I had offered to post each week's episode thread there, as we did each year.

I am not in favor of two DWTS places.  However, I will go along with whatever we decide to do.  Just let me know if I should post the episode threads, and where, or if SLA will do it like she's done in the past.

SLA - you didn't do anything.  When I made the post, I didn't realize there was a second page already, so I figured by the time people got to my post, they wouldn't know what I was talking about, and I deleted it. 

My response was to Starz asking what's the point, and I said the point was that some of us just liked this forum. 

I respect your choice to do whatever you want - however - I am going to make 2 comments and then never mention anything about this thread again.

1. You are separating yourselves from the rest of the members. That appears to be unfriendly and elitist. Right now, I do not feel welcome here.

2. People will find this thread and create extra threads just like on the other topics defeating your intentions.
