Meanwhile, Jenny and Penny were having a very important
discussion. They had met some very influential celebs in the Miami area at the
Donald's soiree, and were trying to figure out how to parlay that (Jenny heard that word at the party and
incorporated it immediately into her vocabulary)
into a future career. And as usual they were going round and round,
and weren't making any progress in their discussion. Finally, in exasperation,
Jenny, the slightly bossier of the two, held up her hand. She knew that Penny
would recite her usual "I know, talk to the hand," comment and stop
chattering. With that, Jenny proceeded to explain that they needed a good plan,
that they were 26, and they weren't getting any younger even though they
usually acted as if they were 16, and their parents wouldn't always be there to
support them. Suddenly Penny burst into tears and Jenny tried to comfort her.
With Penny blubbering she couldn't quite hear what their sister Louise was up
to, so Jenny moved closer to the door and heard Stacey and Louise whispering
about going to Miami Vice that night, and something about their plan. Jenny
told Penny about the girls going there and Penny asked why Louise would get
involved an an undercover police venture. Now Jenny didn't quite know how to
react to that poser-on the one hand could Penny BE any dumber?-but on the other
at least she knew what a vice squad was! So Jenny just sighed and said that the
Miami Vice was a restaurant/club where all the celebs go, not the police, and
that Stacey and Louise were up to something and she wanted to know what was
going on! Not to mention the fact that they would probably run into some of
their new "friends" that may give them some ideas for that new career
they were just talking about...

Jane finally broke the news to Bonnie. “Well, I’ve
learned why you haven’t heard from Fred and I hope it will make you feel
better.” “Really?” asked Bonnie, eager to learn any news about her love,
“Is he all right?” (She had had
visions of him being in a terrible car accident and other horrible scenarios.)

“Well, it turns out, he had to go out of town on business for Struther’s.
He’s actually in Scotland with Darsley. Apparently, ‘something suddenly
came up’ with the law firm and they needed the two of them there instead of here.
I'm sure it's temorary.”

“Oh,” replied a relieved Bonnie, “so it was because of
business. That does make me feel better. I mean, I thought it was
something I had done.” “You? You are the image of kindness and
perfection. What could you have possibly done wrong?” said Jane.
“Now, I need your help this evening.” “My help?” “Yes, Ron has
asked us to dinner at that new place Miami Heat, and I told him we would
go. I like Ron, but I really don’t want to be alone with him at this
point and give him the impression that it’s more than just a friendship.
Please say, you’ll come, Jane. You’ve been moping around the Castle all
week. I need you to come and I want to see you have some fun for a
change.”

Bonnie who had had a series of thoughts flicker through her
mind while Jane spoke, decided to just give in and say yes, despite the fact
that she’d rather stay home and think of Fred sitting under the romantic
moonlight of Scotland, while she sat on the bench in the garden (the last place they had been alone
together)
under that same moon. “O.K., Jane, I’ll go, but you’ll have
to help me figure out what to wear.” “With pleasure!” said Jane, very
surprised that Bonnie had agreed so easily.

Chris Harrison had just been briefed by Fleiss. On
Monday evening, ABC would be sending their first batch of Bachelors over to the
Bonnet Mansion. They would be sending a total of thirty men. Each
Bonnet sister would be meeting three bachelors that had been hand-picked for
her by ABC and they would get to know their men during a cocktail party that
evening. At the end of the night, each sister could choose to go on individual
or group dates with one, two, or all three of her bachelors during the next few
days or she could send any or all of them home. Meanwhile, the Bonnet
sisters were free to meet men in their daily lives as well. (Mrs. B. had wanted her girls to have as
many options as possible.)
Chris was thinking this is going to be the
most interesting and surprising Bachelorette show ever!

Penny told Jenny that they should do something special
before going out-get a new look or something. After all, their bachelors would
be arriving in the next few days and they should look ExtraExtra Special! So
Penny found the perfect makeover salon: The Mischief & Mayhem Makeover
Salon in downtown Miami. Penny was sputtering with excitement-it was meant to
be she said. After all, their momma was always telling the twins they were
always causing mischief and mayhem so this must be fate! Against her better
judgment, Jenny allowed herself to be dragged along, but at least they got to
take the limo. As the limo pulled up to the salon the girls got that
uncomfortable feeling-something was a little off here. The girls were escorted
in and introduced to the owner of the salon-Maude Mayhem. She was very tall,
rather gray haired and had a somewhat masculine sounding voice. And she looked
a little familiar... Anyway she asked the girls what they wanted to have done
and they explained that they wanted to impress some people to help them find a
new career, and then Jenny chimed in to surprise them!

Well after some poking, prodding, and washing and rinsing,
the girls were ready for new hairstyles and make-up. Even Jenny began to
lighten up and enjoyed the pampering. Eventually the girls were blindfolded and
dressed. They were led to the mirrors and the blindfolds were removed. They
looked at each other in horror/shock! Well-well-well we look like street
walkers, hookers-OMG! Jenny knew this was too good to be true since Penny had
dreamed it up. By now it was almost 7 pm and Louise and Stacey would be
arriving at the club shortly. So, while wiping off half the eye shadow and
lipstick, and combing out half of the poof in their poofy hair, both girls
raced to the limo and gave the driver the address of Miami Vice. Little did
they know that this was not the last of their surprises for the evening!

Meanwhile, back at the Bonnett castle, Kara and Lara were
sitting in Lara's sunny yellow room, and Lara was chatting away about the
arrival of the young men in a few days. She [being
only 21]
was extremely excited about everything. Suddenly, Kara burst into
tears. "Why what's wrong???"Lara asked with real concern. Finally,
after crying copious tears, Kara was finally able to say,"I'm already in
love!!I don't want to meet anyone else

When Kara calmed down, she revealed to her stunned little sister that she had
actually left the ball for three hours that memorable night!!! No one noticed
because Kara was very shy, and spent a lot of time at home helping her sister
Bonnie and taking care of her little dog, a white Pomeranian named Ruff. She
had quietly slipped away that night after...............

The stars shone like a million jewels as Kara led her mother outside for a much-needed
breath of fresh air. They were surprised to see a performance of Cirque du
Soleil! It was truly the most amazing thing that Kara, who was such a homebody,
had ever seen! But brighter than than the stars in the velvet sky shone
Twilley, the handsome and entertaining performer who dazzled all who were
present. At the end of his show he noticed the petite dark-haired beauty who
held the arm of her swaying mother. As he walked off the stage and past them,
Mrs. Bonnet gave a lurch, knocking Kara's glasses off, and as luck would have
it he stepped right on them!!! At that moment Jane came up and took their
mother inside, neither one noticing poor Kara's plight.Twilley was not only
handsome but a true gentleman, and he immediately called his brother[who happened
to manage a nearby Lenscrafters] and asked him if he would please meet them
there so Kara could get her glasses fixed immediately at no charge. His brother
said he would meet them there in an hour, so Twilley led poor Kara [who was
blind without those glasses] to a vine-covered arbour to sit while he hurried
to get some champagne for her. Now Kara was only 22, and had never had anything
to drink besides iced tea, soda, Sobe, etc. Unfortunately she had spent so much
time with the curling iron on Lara's hair that she only nibbled on some popcorn
for dinner. When Twilley quickly returned with the champagne, Lara, who was
very shy and very nervous, drank several glasses as they sat in the arbour
getting to know each other better! Turns out Twilley was an animal lover too,
and had brought home a gigantic 22 pound cat named Boris from tne animal
shelter where he volunteered.

Twilley
was a very passionate, energetic man, he was not only a star in the Cirque du
Soleil, he was involved in animal rescue, and he had just finished creating,
after 10 years of hard work, a car that got 200 miles per gallon!!! Twilley had
designed it(he had an IQ of 159&1/2), and his loving Dad Joe who ran a car
dealership had actually constructed it with him, piece by piece, with a great
deal of love. This car was made of 100% recycled materials!!! In fact, the day
after the ball, Twilley and his proud dad were about the show the car to the
president of the corporation!
After 3 1/2 glasses of champagne, Twilley led Kara (and he really led her
because she couldn't see without her glasses!) to the car to drive her to his
brother's Lenscrafters store. He was so proud to show off this amazing vehicle
he had only just completed at 3:oopm that very afternoon.
As he shut her door, she looked up at him with a beautiful smile. Nervously, he
slammed the door, straightened his tie, and hopped into the driver's seat.
Although Kara was shy, somehow it was so easy to open up to this charming man.
Kara was having the time of her life. As they laughed and joked, he glanced at
her and suddenly noticed she did not look at all well. Please pull over! She
implored, and Twilley immediately stopped the car, ran over to open her
door,but
alas!!!!!THE *@###%@!!*** DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN!!!
Beads of perspiration formed on his handsome brow as he tried to free this
sweet, beautiful girl...

Just
in the nick of time to save his new car and her lovely rose colored dress from
certain disaster, Twilley got the door unstuck, and now , gentle reader, turn
your head so Kara can get sick on the grass outside of the mall without us
watching...There, she feels better, and although embarassed, is touched by how
sweet and caring he is...
All was dark at the mall, Twilley's brother met them in the parking lot, and
ushered them in a special door near his wing of the mall, unlocked his
Lenscrafters, and got to work right away, fixing the stepped-on glasses. As
Twilley and his brother bantered back and forth, Kara sat in the break room
sipping ginger ale and nibbling on a powdered jelly donut, feeling surprisingly
better. She looked at her cell phone and realized she had best get back to the
ball pronto!!! As she approached the brothers, she was horrifed to overhear
Twilley respond to his brother,"Yes, Samantha is moving in tomorrow!"
She had been---MISLED! She approached Twilley with a weak smile, and
said"I have to get back right now!"
On the car ride there, all was laughter, sweetness and light. Now a heavy gloom
hung over the pair as Kara replied to his questions with one word
answers---then,...silence.

Silence....
Lara sat in stunned silence as Kara finished her sad story. Kara bravely wiped
away her last tear, saying "enough of all this! I'm going to go down to
the pet groomers and apply for the job there I saw last week!!" Lara was
even more shocked at this than at Kara's revelation of what had happened the
night of the ball. Kara was such a homebody! This was the first job outside the
home(she was a huge help to Bonnie in managing the little castle)she had ever
applied for!
Meanwhile, Twilley paced in his room in his condo on the other side of town,
wondering,"what happened??" Why did she rush out of his car so
quickly when he dropped her back off at the ball?"I've got to see her
again!!!"

When Juan had been a young boy, he had been told about the
hidden room in Mr. B.’s study by his father, Stanley, who was the Butler of
Bonnet Castle. Juan had taken over the duties of Butler from his father
over 20 years ago, but his aging father had stayed on in the honorary position
of Butler Emeritis. Stanley, who unfortunately at the ripe old age of 90, was
suffering from Alzheimer’s, still thought he was the actual Butler of Bonnet
Castle when he could remember what a Butler was. He also was a big fan of
“Gone With the Wind,” both the book and the movie. These two important
facts about Stanley helped explain his erratic behavior regarding Tara.
Because of his father’s condition, Juan was the only one who knew of the hidden
room behind the bookcase in Mr. B.’s study and what was stored inside.

Meanwhile, Bingo and Darsley were sitting in a dusty records
room in a courthouse in Glasgow, scrutinizing torts and cases from the 1950’s
for an important client of Struther’s, Struther’s, & Struther’s who had
gotten into some hot water over International Trade. “Why are we doing
this?” asked Fred. “They surely have someone at the local branch who
would be more familiar with Scottish law than the two of us.” “I think
it’s what is called a matter of timing,” replied Darsley, who, of course, had
actually pulled a series of strings to get them assigned to this task, “We were
the “new kids on the block” and were, therefore, expendable. Besides the
local crew is busy defending Prince Andrew in a case of stolen identity by some
crazy local crook.

“I can’t believe that just when I meet the girl of my
dreams, I get pulled away to Scotland, of all places. I mean, I hardly
speak the language," said Fred, referring to the thick Scottish accents he
was encountering, compared to his own pronounced Chi-cah-go-ese. "I
can’t even call her because I forgot to get her number. Poor
Bonnie. What must she think?” moaned Fred.
“She’ll be just fine,” Jeremy assured him. “If it’s
meant to be, she’ll be waiting for you when you get back.” Of course,
Jeremy knew that ABC had some Bachelors calling on Monday evening. He
really didn’t think Bonnie was that “into” Fred and felt the test of time thing
couldn’t hurt. Besides, he had seen how Fred had been sent away by the
last "girl of his dreams," DeAnna, and didn’t want that to happen
again.

Right on schedule, Brian met Susie Q at Miami Heat at 7:00
on the dot. They were shown to a cozy little table for two in a romantic
back corner of the restaurant. Louise, riding in the ABC limo, picked
Stacy up at her house at 7:15 and headed to Miami Heat. Simultaneously at
7:15, Ron called for Jane and Bonnie at the Castle, driving his leased, sporty,
two door, BMW. “You both look lovely.” Ron said, losing no time in
complimenting his two dates. Bonnie was dressed in a classic black silk
skirt and a white ruffled blouse with a red cummerbund sash that added a splash
of color. Jane looked very much the writer in an elegant black pantsuit
trimmed with a bohemian fringe. Jane, again, as part of her plan to
discourage Ron, not because she didn’t like him, but because she had a gut
feeling he wasn’t the love of her life, insisted that Bonnie ride in front.
“It’s easier for me to get in back. I’m wearing pants,” she explained.

Donald Trump, who was completing some last minute business
in his office before taking off for the weekend, had always had a soft
spot in his heart for J.B. Bonnet, because when he had been a young, real
estate tycoon, trying to break into High Society, J.B. had been one of the
first to invite him to important events that helped his rise in status.
The Donald was now delighted to see, going over recent transactions, that J.B. (well, actually ABC) had paid off all
of the mortgages and liens on Bonnet Castle that Trump, himself, had
anonymously supplied to help out his old friend. The timing of these
incoming funds was prefect. Trump could now use them to assist another
long-time friend. He promptly wrote a check to cover the debts on Ed
McMahon’s estate in California. Fortunately for Ed, Trump believed in the
“pass it forward” theory (especially when
it made the world believe you were a great guy)!

As the girls glanced at their watches, they were twins after all, they realized they
were cutting things a little close in the time department. Then Jenny told
Penny to look out the window-what Penny saw disturbed her. The area of the city
they were in was certainly not the poshest to say the least-it was downright
seedy! There must be some mistake! And then they saw the club Miami Vice, and
knew something was definitely amiss.

As they exited the limo a crowd began to
gather around and the girls tried to tell the driver to wait, but the crowd
grew and became noisier by the moment. The driver was clueless as to their
intent, and so drove off, seemingly in a hurry. The girls were stymied as to
what their next move should be, but their instinct propelled them into the club
to seek shelter from the noisy crowd. Now Jenny/Penny knew they must be in the
wrong place, but looked around to see if there were ANY celebs at the Miami
Vice. In one corner they saw a couple enjoying the dance floor without the
benefit of a band of any sort, if you get my drift. At a table in the center of
the place were a few "gentlemen" getting a little toasted after a
long day at work-assuming they had jobs. Then of course the usual barflies and
the objects of their affections pretty much just littered the rest of the bar.
Jenny/Penny were so upset they just stood there not moving

Finally, one of the
men at the bar called out to the girls, and asked what their pleasure was.
Penny took severe offense to that remark and was about to slap the guy, but
Jenny stopped her in mid slap. "Penny, he just was asking what we wanted
to drink, that's all!" So Penny took a breath and responded, "well,
maybe some sugar-free strawberry Snapple would be nice, sir." The guy threw
back his head and laughed, and motioned the bartender to fill that order. Jenny
was too nervous to have anything, but something about his head toss and laugh
was a little familiar to her. So the girls took a seat at the bar and began to
talk to the man and his friend- a handsome African American gentleman he kept
referring to as Tubbs. So Jenny asked what their names were and the blond
haired (and handsome!) man said to just call him Sonny and his friend Tubbs.
Sonny then asked the girls what they were doing in a "club" like
this, and Jenny responded that they thought it was a place where the
celebrities played and they were looking for connections to further their
careers.

When Sonny heard this he was rather intrigued and told the twins
perhaps he could help them. Now both Jenny/Penny laughed because these guys
weren't in any position to help anyone. Then Sonny proceeded to tell the girls
that they were indeed celebrities and in fact were meeting a business partner
that very night. Since neither girl appeared to be buying this story, both
Sonny and Tubbs asked them if they knew where the name Miami Vice came from for
the bar. Penny shook her head, but Jenny was beginning to realize why this
scenario was becoming familiar to her.

"OMGOMG-Sonny-Tubbs-Sonny-Tubbs-it's you!! Now I get it," cried Jenny.
Penny just looked confused. Then Jenny said that these guys were the stars of
the hit tv show "Miami Vice!" Suddenly A VERY loud voice shouted
across the room,"Boys- oh boys! Your favorite business partner is finally
here!" Well, Jenny just cringed because she'd know that voice anywhere! It
was Amarosa-that voice gave her nightmares!! "Girls-meet our new business
partner Amarosa-Amarosa meet Jenny/Penny, our new friends," said Sonny.
Jenny thought she was going to be sick, and actually threw up a little in her
mouth. You could have knocked her over with a duck feather!

Speaking of ducks, over at Miami Heat, Ron, Bonnie, and Jane
had looked over the stunning menu of Gordan's classy bistro and after Jane and
Bonnie both made their orders, Ron spoke up, "I'll have Robert's Duck
L'Orange he said." Bonnie gasped and looked at Jane for help.
Jane did not disappoint, "Ron, I'm sorry but it's a long story. Our
family just does not eat duck. Would it be possible for you to order
something else?" Ron, who had really been looking forward to a nice
juicy duck dinner, smiled with a huge show of his white teeth, and asked,
"Is salmon OK?" "Salmon would be fine."
"Salmon it is," said Ron. When the waiter left, Ron said,
"I have to hear this story about the duck." "Well,"
said Jane, "I'll try to make this quick. At the back of our gardens,
we have a Duck Pond. Our cousin Ty, when he was little, used to visit and
he always spent a large part of his stay feeding the ducks. He loved the
ducks so much, he named them - Ted and Ted and Dave - and he made us promise,
once he learned that people actually ate duck - that we would never eat duck or
allow someone else to eat duck when they were with us. This was all years
ago, of course, but we have never broken our promise, and Cousin Ty
is off in Iraq defending our American honor, so we really feel very strongly
about continuing to keep our promise." "Well, I'm honored to
make a sacrifice for the cause," said Ron.

In our haste to make sure that duck was not ordered at table
#8, we forgot to mention that Gordan Ramsay’s Miami Heat restaurant was
hot! It had quickly become one of the most popular meeting places along
the South Beach Strip. The restaurant was decorated in a sizzling
décor with a modern flair and lounge-like furniture. As usual,
Gordan prided himself on impeccable food and equally impeccable service.
The kitchen was a state-of-the-art chrome masterpiece with a peekaboo service
area that allowed guests to watch the chefs at work. Robert could be seen
carving his duck speciality and anointing it with his savory sauce. The
kitchen staff was providing performance art as they crafted each dish,
garnished it, and made sure every plate was wiped clean before it left the
serving station for a table.

Brian was very happy to have Susie Q all to himself for an
evening. He loved all of his cousins, but Susie was special and sometimes
it was hard to get a word in edgewise with her when all of the sisters were
together. Tonight Brian was celebrating the success of his House of Pain
Sharpshooting Centers that were showing a remarkable strength in an otherwise bleak
stock market. The influx of One Million Dollars from good, old, Uncle
J.B. didn’t hurt either and Brian intended to put it to good use. There
was another reason, however, that he wanted to speak alone with Susie Q
tonight. Brian was actually in love with Susie. Their
distant family connection as cousins, recently discovered by Sara in
her genealogy research, was 30 generations apart, after all, and did not in any
way prohibit them from pursuing a romantic relationship. He knew
that Susie was committed to the Bonnet Bachelorette series, but he also
knew she was allowed to find a man outside of the show, thanks to Aunt
Clarissa. Brian felt this was his last chance to let Susie know his
feelings before she was swept up in the whirlwind temptations of the show and
those Bachelors who were sure to be handsome and accomplished.

Jenny just could not believe that Amarosa was standing in
front of her grinning away. As they seated themselves at a table, Sonny began
to explain that he and Tubbs were in the process of renovating this historical
section of Miami. In the 1980's it was the site of some of the drug transaction
scenes in the hit series Miami Vice and the area was not run down at all then.
Things kind of went downhill in that area in Miami after hurricane Fay in the
mid '80's. Since that series meant so much to Sonny-er, Don Johnson, he wanted
to give back to the city. He and Michael Talbott-aka Tubbs- decided to invest
in the downtown area including the ever popular bar named after the show, and
were bringing new investors in to do just that. Jenny just couldn't resist-what
in the world could Amarosa offer to the greater Miami area-what??

Well, Amarosa had just gotten out of the county jail in
Seattle when she met Diddy Daddy (her baaaaaby) when she figured out a way to
make ice in special shapes and colors for her specialty drinks. For some reason
all the new martinis, mai tais, etc. tasted so much better with these amazing
new frozen confections. Amarosa wasn't giving away any secret ingredients, but
they were becoming all the rage in the hippest of clubs everywhere! It wasn't
quite clear if the frozen concoctions were confections or flavored frappes, but
however you cut it they were the piecederesistance of the drinks! Then Amarosa
asked the twins if they had any ideas for flavors, shapes, etc. to add to her
menu of drinks. Jenny/Penny put their heads together to think about that one (two heads are better than one after all!) and
they came up with a doozie...

Mrs. Bonnet was beside herself!
Imagine trying to get ten daughters ready for such an event! To calm her
nerves, Mrs. B had sipped on Frangelico while at the same time using the
curling iron on Lara's hair, left it on much too long, and the lovely curl had
burnt and fell right off!!!! Mary the maid (who had always been like a mother
to these girls) came to the rescue. She whisked Lara off to the Mischief &
Mayhem Makeover Salon, where Maude Mayhem gave Lara a smashing new look!!!The
next day, Mrs.Bonnet was very contrite, and decided to take Mary to the Cirque
de Soleil to give her (and herself) a
respite from the endless preparations for the arrival of the bachelors. At the
performance, who should they sit next to but Twilley's father, Joe, who was
there, full of pride at his son Twilley's amazing talent.

Mary gasped when she sat down, because Joe had been her
secret high school sweetheart, but the ill-fated lovers were parted when Mary
had to care for her little sister, and Joe went off to business school where he
met Twilley's Mom. Joe, immediately
recognizing her charming Irish lilt, felt his palms begin to sweat profusely. Right then the lights were dimmed and the
show began.

When the lights came on again, Joe began a converstion with Mary, he told her
all about Twilley's eco-friendly car he had invented. He told her how sad he
was that his wife (who had passed away two years ago) could not be there to be
part of Twilley's life, for that very year Twilley had been named Miami's
Humanitarian of the Year, for his efforts to have all the local grocery stores
carry only cage-free eggs, and his efforts had succeeded beyond his wildest
dreams---every chicken in Miami was living a life of happiness and freedom. Mary, who had never bought anything but
cage-free, and happened to have a pet chicken named Ned, asked to be introduced
to Twilley after the show, so she could thank him for his accomplishment. "Of course!!" Joe beamed!!!!

Jenny cleared her throat after her 10 minute conference with
Penny. She told Amarosa that they thought Miami would be the perfect place to
launch their next idea for the flavored ices. She asked Amarosa what Miami was
known for besides the Latin music, that is. Amarosa thought about it and said
resorts and flamingos! Exactly-resorts
for the wealthy, including golf courses. And naturally the ponds on these
courses not only would be the homes for ducks, of course but also the
flamingos!!

Jenny suggested their first new color/flavor/shape should be
a blazing neon blue golf ball, complete with the indentations and an autograph
from none other than Diddy Daddy, and should have a blueberryish flavor! The
name of this amazing confectionery concoction? DiddyDaddy's
BerryBlueBombshell-what else?? Well you could have knocked Amarosa with a
flaming flamingo feather right then and there! She swooned in delight, and
cried out DiddyDaddy's name repeatedly.

Finally some woman at the next table asked the waitress to
bring her whatever Amarosa was having!! Since that was such a big hit at the
"business meeting," everyone was waiting with bated breath for the
next idea. And Jenny once again came up with a zinger: how about, she
suggested, a flamingo shaped confection, autographed by Sonny and Tubbs, hot
pink in color and called---Sonny&Tubbs' FlamingFlamingoFrappe, a vividly
hot pink temptation, tasting of a raspberry/strawberry/cranberry combo??

Well everyone clapped including the servers and bartenders! Jenny was in her glory, and Penny kept telling
everyone that Jenny was her sister-duh!-they were twins!! And so the group began working on recipes, how
the flavors could be mixed into various alcohols such as vodkas, rums, etc.
When the bartenders got "in the mix," more ideas came together, and
rounds of applause grew. People from the neighborhood came in and the
excitement was palpable, as the group was just beginning to realize how this
very simple idea had the potential to resurrect this small enclave and put
Miami back on the map as Club Central-the place everyone wanted to see and be
seen!

Then Sonny remembered Jenny had questioned the location of
Miami Vice, so he asked her why she thought this location was the wrong one.
Jenny explained that her sister was going to one of the hottest clubs in Miami
and it was called Miami Vice. Then Sonny realized she must be talking about the
new place called Miami Heat, and told her so. Jenny felt a light bulb go on in
her brain-that was it-she had the wrong name all along!

She looked at her watch and realized it was getting late and
they probably missed out on all the commotion that Louise was up to. But they
decided to move the party over to the new club and invited Amarosa to come
along now that they were business partners and all. But the girls had forgotten
that the limo had driven off and as they left the club, they had no
transportation. They saw a group of rather trashy looking women on the next
block and decided to see if they could find a ride from them. Now Jenny/Penny
and Amarosa looked as if they fit right in with this crowd after their
makeovers, and so were harassed by the women, because they were infringing on
their "work" area. Jenny/Penny were confused but Amarosa got it-they
thought the girls were "working girls" like themselves, and so a
fight broke out.

The police were called, and a pad-dy wagon was used to round
up ALL the women. Penny began blubbering as usual as Jenny tried to figure her
way out of this one! Why oh why didn't she remember to bring her cell phone,
and why wouldn't Penny shut up? As the girls were let out of the wagon and
ushered into the police station, Amarosa kept muttering why does this stuff
always happen to me? Why-why me?...

Meanwhile, Jane was worried about Kara. Kara (who had been hired on the spot when she
applied at the pet groomers)
should have been so happy! Now Kara, who had
always loved to style her sisters hair, to the point where on one occasion she
chased her younger sister Lara throughout the castle with a hairbrush in her
hand, trying to get her to sit back down and let her finish her styling, had
the skills to turn her little pomeranian Ruff into the king of Miami doggie
society. She shaved him close, except for a lionesque long ruff, so he looked
like a little white stuffed toy. She also was able to purchase items like
doggie barrettes for him. However Kara, usually so involved in the running of
the household with her sister Bonnie, was spending every moment not at the
groomers alone in her room reading or trying newly purchased oufits on Ruff.
Even though Jane was heading out to Miami Heat Restaurant, she shad topped by
Kara's room to try to determine what was wrong with her beloved little sis.

After some gentle probing (the two girls
had always been exceptionally close, as were Bonnie and Lara),
Kara finally
told her the whole story of what had happened the night of the ball with
Twilley. Kara began to cry. "I knew he was my soulmate when he told me all
he had done for chickens!"Now Kara happened to have a pet chicken called
Ned (best buddy of Mary's chicken, also
named Ned.)"
And then when he
told me he didn't eat duck, I knew I was---in love!" Poor Kara sobbed as
if her little heart would break.

After the bookings, Jenny/Penny and Amarosa were pacing the
cell. There were other women in the cell with them, and the girls were very
nervous. What to do? One by one the girls were called out to make their one
phone call. Jenny had no idea what she would tell her mother. She was supposed
to look out for Penny and she blew it. Everything got way out of control, and
all for the sake of
fame and fortune-brother
, she thought to herself! Amarosa made her call first
and she knew immediately who she was calling-The Donald! He was here in Miami,
and she knew he still owed her a few things, and so she demanded he come
immediately and bail her and her two friends out!

When
Amarosa returned to the cell she told the girls the Donald was coming for them
and they would soon be out. Jenny/Penny just thanked her because they weren't
relishing telling their mother the whole story yet. The Donald was not happy
about leaving the Miami Heat in the middle of a whopping good time, but he knew
he had no choice. He had seen how Amarosa manipulated situations up close and
personal, and had no death wish. So the girls were released and rode home in
The Donald's limo. Now the Donald looked as if had been having a very good
time-he spent most of the ride combing and recombing his hair! The girls then
promised Amarosa that they would be in touch to talk about their new business
venture. The Donald also promised to handle the legal issues for the three
girls. The real problem was that Jenny/Penny were NOT prepared to face the
wrath of Mrs. Bonnet-what would they tell her?

After the exciting performance of Cirque du Soleil, Joe took
Mrs. Bonnet and Mary backstage to meet his handsome son Twilley. Twilley, of
course, immediately recognized Mrs. B, remembering how her drunken lurch had
sent Kara's glasses flying, right into the path of true love! Mrs. B remembered
a bit of his show on the backlawn at the ball, but Jane had whisked her away so
quickly, she hadn't met him that night. Desparate to see his beloved Kara
again, Twilley invited Mrs. B and Mary to a party that very night that a close
friend of his was having. Mary thought she would faint with excitement at the
thought of spending more time with the long-lost but never-forgotten love of
her life, Joe, for of course he would be going to the party also, he and
Twilley were best friends as well as father and son. Twilley thought maybe if
he were able to befriend Mrs. B, he would somehow be able to see his little
dark-haired, blue-eyed Kara once more!!!

Back at the Bonnet castle, Jane felt so badly because Kara
had just spilled her guts to her, so to speak, and she had to leave for Miami
Heat Restaurant. She quickly got her sister Sara to sit with Kara in her stead.
"What's going on?" Sara wanted to know. "He led me on!!"
sobbed Kara. "I thought he was my soulmate!" "Who??"demanded
Sara. "His name is Twilley!" Kara managed between sobs. "I love
him so much, but I overheard him tell his brother that a girl named Samantha
was moving in with him!He led me on!" "Samantha who?" Sara
wondered...

Mary's Irish eyes were smiling. The party was splendid, and
Joe seemed so happy to see her again--it was as if the last thirty years had
melted away in an instant, and there they were again, teenagers in love. But
then her heart skipped a beat as she overheard Mrs. Bonnet's conversation with
Twilley: "My dear boy. You must
come over tomorrow at 4:00 for our Scottish Tea!" Right then Mrs.B turned
to Joe, smiled, and invited him as well. Mary was distressed---would Joe want
to reunite if he knew she was only...the maid?

The next day Joe and Twilley arrived promptly with 3 bottles of wine and many
bouquets of beautiful flowers for the family. Mary's hands were shaking as she
carried in the tray of dainties--one glance at Joe would tell her all she
needed to know...When she finally was able to meet his gaze, she realized his
Irish eyes were sparkling and shining with joy and love. Back in the kitchen,
weak in the knees, she sat and rested a little.

As the girls snuck into the house that evening they crept
into Mr. B's office to cook up a story to feed their mother about the whole
jail thing. The girls could not for the life of them figure out a nice way to
explain their arrest with a horde of hookers! They paced, they hemmed and
hawed, and hawed and hemmed, and they sighed-all to no avail. They were no
closer to figuring out a story than when they arrived at the castle! Penny
suggested that perhaps they should pick out a random book and see if that would
help jar those brains into quicker action. At first Jenny just jeered, but then
thought about it. Yeah-she remembered that Mr. B. had gotten a gag gi-ft from
Mr. Grant-a Mr. Matt Grant. He sent their father a gaggle of books for
Dummies-for Dummies of all sorts! Maybe they could find something there! So she
and Penny climbed up the small ladder to reach them: there was Golf For Dummies, Duck Ponds For Dummies,
Dialing For Dummies, Betting for Dummies, Hydroponic Gardening For Dummies,
Investing On A Dime For Dummies
-hey that one looked pretty used thought
Penny-Baking For Dummies-now Penny recognized that one, since she and Jenny
used it on a regular basis as well as the Dusting For Dummies! Ah-there it was
thought Jenny-How To Tell a Fib Without
Really Lying For Dummies
-just perfect!! Jenny noticed that Penny was
wiggling the ladder and she couldn't figure WTH she was trying to accomplish! "Penny!
Just what are you doing? You're knocking some books off the shelf here,"
Jenny said crossly. Penny replied that she was just trying to alphabetize the
books but was having some trouble figuring out where some of them went-oops I
just found Alphabetizing For Dummies, that should be the ticket she thought!
Just then her foot slipped and she and Jenny got tangled up in the ladder
rungs! While trying to grab the nearest shelf, Jenny's hand hit a book that was
very dusty and somehow attached to the shelf. As she tried to hang on the whole
bookshelf began to move, and she and Penny clinging for dear life, went flying
off the bookcase and into the next room! Everything went black-TOTALLY black,
for both girls...
