Not impressed with all that kissing so early in the process.  I guess, however, it is her way, and may help her determine the guys with whom she has chemistry.

Kaitlyn seems to have some good common sense (JMHO).  I thought she handled Kupeh well last night although I'd have told him to "hit the road" a lot sooner in their discussion.

Read your post.  I don't think Britt would give Kupah the time of day.  From what I have read, she and Brady are currently a couple.  I don't see them together, but that's just my opinion.

On the other forum, they seem to know who got the boot at the rose ceremony.  I stayed up to watch the whole thing and was disappointed when they didn't have a rose ceremony.  Hopefully this will not continue through the season.

I'm thinking the "no rose ceremony" theme is going to become a new ploy by TPTB to try to get ratings up. They throw in a lot of unnecessary drama and then leave you hanging to try to draw you in for the next week.

Anyway, the question that begs to be asked is if you think you or your fellow black men or women are the "token minorities" on the show then why even bother to sign up?  I guess we all know the answer to that. So then sign up and get in your 15 minutes of fame and then sit down and shut up. That is also the new theme they are bringing into this show. Spout off about racism since it is always some of the top news stories out there. You could tell Kaitlyn was getting pissed off listening to him go on and on. Then he has the audacity when she tells him to leave to change his mind and say, "I don't want to leave". Well, guess what dude? You don't have a choice. I could see a confrontation was going to come from that. I was glad Kaitlyn didn't just let it go on. That girl has got some balls!

I have not been real impressed with many of these guys this season. Thank God that ass Ryan went home the first week. Now JJ is the new ass. He really thinks he's all that and I had to laugh when they showed that conversation between him and Amy Shumer. I believe she referred to him as a "turd"? LOL. So he thinks he had to show Kaitlyn what husband material is? If he is husband material then why is he not with his baby momma? I know he is probably the one chosen to be the token bad guy after Ryan left but damn, he is so good at being an ass! LOL.

Tony....ummmm....he is just too weird. He needs to go home soon and start his relationship back up with his plants.

That whole scene with Britt and Brady was so scripted it was laughable. She's on the phone with her mother, crying yet again and tells her she's coming home. Within seconds of hanging up, Brady shows up and then she's all bright and chipper again because one dude came looking for her. So they hang out for a week and he asks her to be his girl. That girl is so desperate. What if that guy that came looking for her was JJ, or Tony.....or even Kupah. I think she would still be with them as well. I don't get the sense that it's who the person is as much as it's a living, breathing man and she falls hard and fast.

As to the kissing a lot of men....well...I wouldn't do that but it seems to be a new thing with these Bachelors/ettes. I think it started back with Des and then grew from there. It's like it took someone to do it and then it was okay from there.

Great post, rkc.  Makes me wish we lad a "like" button on this forum, like they do at the other place.

I'm not impressed with any of the men either, but we all know "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."   Will be interesting to see how Nick is edited.  I can't see them together.  JMO.

Thank you, Newto. I haven't even popped onto the other board yet to see what is being said....it is too scary over there! lol

Nick seems to me to be one of those guys that may look good to some women (I don't find him all that) but as soon as he starts opening his mouth and you see his interactions with other people, that is when you want to run away. He may be better with women, that is until you dump him and then all bets are off.

Don't know how the house of men usually are but this season seems to show these men as liking to play practical jokes on each other. As in this week someone from the house kept knocking on the door and that one dude kept answering it. I heard somewhere that they play a joke on Nick and it apparently isn't received very well.

The Bachelor producer Mike Fleiss announced on Twitter a couple of hours ago that Chris and Whitney are no longer engaged.

I am not all that surprised.  I simply did not see any passion between the two.  I just wonder if he truly loved her or he picked her for ulterior motives.

I agree with you Bach.  I saw the chemistry with Becca and more friendship with Kaitlyn than anything between Chris and Whitney.  I thought his answer was rather strange when Whitney was not at his last two weeks at DWTS and he was asked about and he said she at home doing her thing.  Newto had made some comment about them before but at that time Whitney was in the audience and then she wasn't anymore.  Newto had a heads up on them before it was ever made public.

Oh well, on to the next season............

I copied what you had said and it was just your opinion but your opinion was spot on IMO.

"Whitney is apparently spending more and more time in Chicago; how long can a woman spend shut up in some apartment alone all day?  OT but I fear if they are not reunited soon away from LA there is going to be some serious damage to this relationship.  JMHO."

It's not really all that surprising. It's more surprising when a couple from this show actually stay together.

As to his chemistry with his other finalists, I think he really had it bad for Becca but to tell you the truth I didn't really see Becca totally feeling it for him. I think he finally realized it at the end and that is why he sent her home. I think him and Kaitlyn had more of a sexual chemistry and I don't think it would have lasted either. I think him and Whitney would have stood a better chance if he hadn't went on DWTS. I think he was liking hanging out with stars and other tv people too much and they started drifting apart because of it. I guess now he figures women will be falling at his feet and maybe he thinks the right woman will present them self when the time is right. He just got a little too star struck and lost focus. Now he's alone again.

It wasn't in Chris's season - you posted that in the DWTS thread I think it was week 7.  But anyway it was a good call on your part.

Thanks for finding the quote, SLA.  I did go looking in Chris' season thread, last episode, didn't find anything, and gave up.

JMHO but I think we should "put the lid on this pot," and return to the subject at hand, which is Kaitlyn.  All the analysis in the world is not going to change anything.  Beating a dead horse

....And speaking of Kaitlyn's season,  I don't know what exactly is going on between JJ and Clint but the fact that the producers are exploiting it and editing it to look like something that I'm sure it is not is pretty disgusting. Is there anything they won't do for ratings? Is Clint gay and he slipped in by keeping it covered up or is him and JJ in on some big ruse by TPTB to shock everyone? Between that and them deciding to show that Kaitlyn slept with someone other than in the FS just goes to show that the producers have hit rock bottom and have sold their souls to the devil for ratings. There have been reports for years by people that have previously been on this show that there is sex happening pretty much on every season that isn't happening in the FS. They've pretty much kept it under wraps for the most part....other than Ben and Courtney's romp in the ocean, as well as Juan Pablo and Claire. Even with those incidents they have kept you guessing as to "did they or didn't they?" We all know they did but the show wasn't going to go there.....until now. This constant need to go so far as to destroy people in the public eye is going too far. No wonder they have the participants of this show talk to therapists after they are done filming. I know they must have some iron-clad contract to keep them from being sued, but I'm hoping one day someone finds a way around it and takes them to court and knocks them off their high horse. Then maybe they will stop and think a little about just how far they've taken things since the conception of this show. And btw, was the time change this week a one time thing or did they finally realize that the craziness they air is not meant for young eyes....therefore changed it to a later time hoping the kiddies will be in bed by then?

Applause   rkc.  Another good post!!

Changing the hours the show is on is not going to solve the problems.

Anyone who has watched this show for more than one season has to conclude there is plenty of hanky panky going on.  Anyone who aspires to be on this show can't be unaware of this.  Fifteen minutes of fame for some people far outweighs common sense.

Considering what went on in the pool between Clint and Kaitlyn makes me doubt he is gay.  This "gay" thing rears its ugly head every season on some of the other forums.  It's also rearing its head on the newest reality show "Married At First Sight."  Enough already!!

In previous seasons the "gay" thing has been alluded to on message boards with different individuals. All just based on a feeling someone is getting. The only reason I mentioned Clint is because people are saying that he really didn't carry on much of a conversation with Kaitlyn on their date, just kissing...in other words like he really didn't feel anything with her. Now you have him being questioned as to whether he is gay because he is the only one doing the talking in the previews.

The reason why it is so relevant this season is because TPTB went there. They described the episode that this happens in as "shocking"(yeah, real shocker there). The producers are going places that they have never went before and it just shows their desperation.

Today I saw an article that there are rumors circulating that apparently got started by in "inside source" that Kaitlyn was or is pregnant after her stint on The Bachelorette. Seriously? Now we have this? This a very telling statement in the article:

While rumors of unintended pregnancy! may be devastating to Bristowe, ABC reportedly is eating the scandal up! “Kaitlyn doesn’t want people to think she’s irresponsible, but ABC loves the pregnancy talk,” the source says. “It brings more drama to a sometimes boring, formulaic show… And it worked.”

Now, what does this tell people, or should I say people that have any brains? This "inside source" is more than likely someone from the show and why would they start this rumor? Yeah, you guessed it! It says it right there in the article. I really highly doubt that Kaitlyn would allow something like that to happen. She definitely seems more responsible than that.

I am thinking that this show will be on it's last leg very soon because of it's slimy antics. Yeah, there will be people that like the Jerry Springer theatrics and will continue to watch, but the real people...the ones that still had hope that they would finally bring it back to where it all began...those people will be gone. Once the ratings drop majorly, cancellation will soon follow. At least I hope....

rkc -- kudos for another great post.  Bow

I think we had pregnancy rumors before; just a feeling as I can't recall who was involved.

I know the show has turned into a royal Bachelorette11 -- Episode 2 Images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTrFaXlIcUwpSCMCRdS1eWy9eOhPfNmsTh2i0BMRUaNL655pQ4IXYzo3gbut for me it is two hours of escape from RL and responsibility.  I've always enjoyed the scenery and the clothes.  I suppose it has become a habit of sorts.  If it goes by the wayside, I guess I'll return to watching public television!!

As you know, I've stopped watching.  But I'm peeking in on the boards.  What you folks have written above makes me happy I've quit this show.  It's gone overboard to include as much garbage as possible.

Perhaps it's because I'm so old, but I get sick of the double-talk, even among some of the posters on the ABC board.  While many try to appease the outrage by stating free-sex is commonplace these days, they chide Kaitlyn's indescretion for admitting to it.  So...is loose sex something to be ashamed of - or not?  You see what I'm talking about?  Many just drool over the route this showing is taking.

I see that one guy was hurt during the boxing.  So they've moved on to Sumo wrestling?  How very responsible of them. *sarcasm injected*

I've found a wealth of digestible programming on one of the Hallmark channels.  Mysteries from days gone by.  Murder, She Wrote, Columbo, Perry Mason, Diagnosis Murder.  It's been so long since I've seen them, I forget who dunnit.  Thinking

As for Chris and Whitney?  Pffft.  Once the show is over, I don't care.

I went over and read some of the threads re: Kaitlyn on the motherboard.  I found most of it boring.  So many of the good old posters are gone or post very little.  I love WidderWoman's sarcasm, and Belle's comments.  Otherwise, nada.  I can't get on there any more for some reason, and maybe that is a good thing.

Singly - there are many good programs on public television, and on some of the better cable channels; am sure you have explored this.

newto, I've also been watching NatGeo and other stations like this.  I know what you mean about the old posters being gone.  It IS boring over there.  The exceptions are as you said, and I'd Grammariana to the list of the people I enjoy reading.

Have any of you heard about the new show that's coming?  It's called UnREAL and is a drama about the making of a show like the Bach.  The driving force.  There's a preview online if you look up UnREAL.  Looks pretty good, and much as I suspected about what goes on behind the scenes.  I'm going to give it a try.
