The MTA Episode
Here is ABC's Press Release for the MTA:
JoJo Faces The Men She Rejected As 18 Jilted Bachelors Confront Her, On ABC’s ‘The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All,’ Tuesday, July 26
Chad Returns to Continue His Face Off With the Men and Offer JoJo a Piece of His Mind
“The Men Tell All” – It’s an exciting, unpredictable reunion viewers won’t want to miss as the most memorable bachelors from this season – including Alex, Chad, Chase, Christian, Daniel, Derek, Evan, Grant, James Taylor, Luke and Wells – return to confront each other and JoJo one last time on national television to dish the dirt and tell their side of the story. A first look at the third season of ABC’s highly anticipated hot summer series “Bachelor in Paradise” will be featured, along with a preview of the explosive final days of JoJo’s journey to find love, on “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All,” as “The Bachelorette” two-night special event concludes, TUESDAY, JULY 26 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.
Fasten your seat belts as there is another wild ride in store as an all-star cast of “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” favorites escape to beautiful Mexico for a second chance at love. The drama, heartbreak and just plain crazy will be on full display when the third season of “Bachelor in Paradise” premieres on TUESDAY, AUGUST 2 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT). It will be double the fun and double the trouble on Monday and Tuesday nights. But first – a sneak peek of the romance and hijinks ahead will be featured. Cast members Amanda, the twins, Emily and Haley; Jared, Jubilee, Nick and Sarah join the audience to help preview the outrageous season.
When the men come on stage together, things immediately heat up, all focusing on the man of the hour: Chad. Chad continues to rant about the other men on the show until there is an explosive confrontation with Nick B.
Finally, JoJo must come face-to-face with the bachelors she sent home broken hearted. She answers some tough questions as she tries to explain what it is like to juggle multiple relationships
.
In a heart-wrenching moment, Luke explains that he really did love JoJo but was filled with anxiety over how to deal with his feelings. Chase expresses the hurt he still carries about his love for JoJo and his confusion about why she sent him home during the fantasy suite visit. Will he get some closure as he and JoJo talk again? And Chad unloads on JoJo about what he really thinks of the final guys. How will JoJo respond?
Lighthearted bloopers from this season and a preview of the finale and the final two bachelors, Jordan and Robby, who are hoping to capture JoJo’s heart and the final rose, will be featured. JoJo finds herself in the same emotional predicament as Ben last season. She shockingly has fallen in love with two men, as she enters the final week of her journey to find love. Who will get the final rose? Will she end up with her happily ever after or remain single?
Hosted by Chris Harrison, “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All” is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss, Elan Gale, Bennett Graebner, Peter J. Scalettar and Nicole Woods are executive producers. “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.

The only one I'm interested in is Luke. Have had enough of Chad for a lifetime, he is one big reason I have no desire to watch BiP.

Especially after obviously doing something to Evan again and saying eff you Chris Harrison.
He's still the same d-bag he was.

Not surprised. I don't think there's a low he won't stoop to.Glittersisgld wrote:I think he gets kicked off for being mean to Lace.
I've had all of him that I can stomach, and tonight that is a very low level as my headache is making me nauseated to begin with.

Re: The MTA Episode
I thought by the questions Chris was asking Luke that it sounded like they are preparing to announce him as the next one.
That would work for me, I think Chad is too much of a hothead even for them. I may also be giving TPTB too much credit... and that I blame on my headache.
If by some horrible chance they pick Chad, that will be one season I will have to skip.

Nope, won't be watching. I haven't watched one season of BiP. I did watch a season of BP... that was enough, lol.Moonbat wrote:Oh that's what you Say but you know you won't be able to stop yourself from watching... Re: The MTA Episode
I doubt very much Chad will be bachelor. Chris doesn't like him and if he doesn't like them, they won't be bachelor, but there's many other reasons he won't be bachelor. They don't pick troublemakers.

Plus Chad is on BIP and doesn't that conflict with the taping of the bachelor?

No it doesn't conflict with tapping but once a contestant goes on BIP they are usually not going back on any Bachelor or Bachelorette show. Paradise is usually their only place of repeat performances.

Our society has become easily bored. Chad is the train wreck they want to see. Personally, I'm sick of all the bad behavior that passes as entertainment. I won't be watching BIP.

Singly -- something tells me he won't be around long on BIP.

Re: The MTA Episode
Chad is easily the best looking guy of the group. I think they were all intimidated by his looks as well as his size. Chad made me laugh on the MTA. It seemed so obvious that he intended to stir up trouble, sit back and eat his meat, and watch the other guys act childish. He sat there and threw out all the dumb stuff he could think of and the guys just took the bait and looked foolish. Chad could hardly keep from laughing. JoJo is the only one who didn't take his bait. Too bad he doesn't turn it around and make people feel good about themselves. Then he would be awesome.
That mom in the audience (Vinni's mom?) was so staged and coerced. So stupid.
Was it clear whether or not Evan pushed Chad? It looked to me that he was trying to hold his ground with Chad. Chad was pushing his way through and neither one of them wanted to be a gentleman and step aside to let the other by. Then Chad claiming he almost fell. lol He is twice the size of Evan.
This is such a sorry group of guys.
Luke, could you lighten up a little? geez He was so serious asking JoJo questions. He was such a gentleman though.

Re: The MTA Episode
I agree with you , thisoldmule! I thought that Chad was hilarious and it is so evident that he is yanking people's chains on purpose just to get a rise out of them. The shot of him eating the meat was too funny...I was watching him last night and was thinking that in real life this guy must actually be a hoot to hang out with.
To be honest, without him there really wouldn't have been a show...I mean about 80% of last night's episode was just about Chad. You take him away and the MTA would have been five minutes of Luke and Chase brooding and talking about how a girl that they have known for five minutes changed their whole life.
Again, I thought that Luke's speech about how now he is ready for love and blah blah was so rehearsed and clearly put in place to cement him as the next bachelor. I get that this show is scripted but when it gets to the point where stuff is so blatantly shoved down people's throats it becomes so unappealing!

Re: The MTA Episode
I wonder if Luke sounds rehearsed because he doesn't talk with a lot of inflection in his voice. His speech pattern is kind of flat.

I'm sure that is part of it. WYSIWYG with Luke he is just being himself as he was throughout the show.Glittersisgld wrote:I wonder if Luke sounds rehearsed because he doesn't talk with a lot of inflection in his voice. His speech pattern is kind of flat.

Re: The MTA Episode
Mule and DD - I agree about Chad. I think he just stirs things up because he doesn't like most of these men and they are being such whiny entitled pansies! (Is Chad older?) I mean some of this he isn't serious about at all. I don't condone any of the violent behavior or threats - that is not acceptable at all, but most of these men are super annoying and super whiny Beta's. If Chad is violent and obnoxious in BIP he will get kicked off. Is MTA filmed before they leave for BIP? Or is it more current and recent as in the past week or so after they have returned from BIP? What is the timeline on that? I am really confused.
I also think that Chad was really targeted in the house. If they had just left him alone it would have been a lot easier for everyone to get along. I think it is odd that he went out with Robby's ex - but also a bit hilarious to get some pretty social revenge (and for her to do so as well).
