One of the biggest shows “Dancing with the Stars” has ever put on will unfold on the ballroom floor, as the 11 remaining celebrities perform big spectacle dances for Cirque du Soleil® night, on “Dancing with the Stars,” live, MONDAY, OCTOBER 3 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network. Each couple will perform a dance inspired by a Cirque du Soleil show, while Cirque du Soleil acrobats, aerialists, dancers and fire stick performers perform alongside them. Get ready to witness a night of pure magical entertainment as the couples dance to such Cirque du Soleil shows as KÀ, Zumanity, KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities, PARAMOUR, Michael Jackson ONE, “O,” The Beatles LOVE, Mystère and La Nouba.

Each Couple Will Dance to the Following Cirque du Soleil Shows (in alphabetical order):

James Hinchcliffe & Sharna Burgess – PARAMOUR - (Quickstep)

Calvin Johnson Jr. & Lindsay Arnold – KURIOS - Cabinet of Curiosities - (Charleston)

Terra Jolé & Sasha Farber – “O” - (Samba)

Jana Kramer & Gleb Savchenko – The Beatles LOVE - (Foxtrot) - "Here Comes The Sun"

Ryan Lochte & Cheryl Burke – ”O” -(Waltz)

Maureen McCormick & Artem Chigvintsev – Mystère - (Argentine Tango)

Amber Rose & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Zumanity - (Argentine Tango)

Vanilla Ice (Robert Van Winkle) & Witney Carson – La Nouba

No couples will be eliminated on this episode.

“Episode 2304A” – The third elimination of the season will take place on “Dancing with the Stars: The Results,” live, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network. DNCE will perform their new single, “Body Moves,” and there will be an all-male dance number in which the male pros of “Dancing with the Stars” perform to the song “Ain’t No Sunshine.” In addition, Derek Hough will choreograph and dance to a special number. Never-before-seen footage, backstage conversations, additional judges’ reactions and a recap of the amazing performances from the first ever Cirque du Soleil night will also be shown.

At the end of the night, the third elimination of the season, based on combined viewer and judges’ scores from October 3, will take place.

Good thing the Curmudgeon will be away for this theme after the spiel he delivered about keeping it ballroom. This one appears to be custom tailored for gymnast Laurie.

Maybe one of the "Idols" nights? Last fall they had both a musical idols night and a personal idols night.

Disney night is only in the Spring, and I am afraid that the "tearjerker night" is still expected. The lawyers are working on the song requests. I also wouldn't mind losing that one, but the Disney night is still a favorite.

Maks and Amber have been given a song from Zumanity. Two erotic dances in a row? I call foul. Sure, she's a weak dancer right now out of the group left, but this gives her no chance at all to redeem herself.

I agree, Glitter. That's why I didn't say that Amber was the "weakest" dancer left. She has company. Both of them have their elegant moments, too. They aren't complete trainwrecks. Every single person on this cast who leaves will be leaving without having fulfilled their potential, I think. It's going to be a matter now of how fast folks improve rather than if they are able to improve at all.

Hey the show is doing what it always does, slotting people into the role they want them to be. Amber, slightly slutty, Laurie, sweet and innocent little princess, Terra, inspirational, Maureen, nostalgia, Marilu, aging actress but in great shape. Calvin filling the football player requirement. Ryan, the doofus who requires forgiveness and redemption. Not sure how they saw James, probably as the good looking guy for the season and I think he fooled them with his great personality and dancing talent. DWTS is nothing if not predictable.

I agree since a few people are grossed out by her, and uncomfortable watching her.

Does anyone remember the celeb that got stuck on a wire or zipline or something like that during rehearsals? Was it Alfonso? This Cirque show made me think of it.

I found it. Witney and Alfonso were rehearsing for their Gotham ChaChaCha and the zipline went off the rail leaving him hanging.

Have fun everyone on Cirque night!! I'd say 'break a leg' but, well you know Crying or Very sad

I agree with you. Wonder why they are doing this to her. There have been much worse ppl on here (Playboy, etc)!

The Miami Herald described the dances to come this week as "choices" that the pros made. i.e., Maks chose Zumanity, Derek chose Ka.... I wonder if that is true.

I don't know, Deadie... I am guessing here, but Cirque has a show at Disney World and Disney and Cirque have a close business relationship, I think. Based upon how many different Cirque shows are going to be represented tomorrow, it seems like the whole Cirque franchise was there for them to choose from, and that would mean carte blanche song clearance for anything in their music catalog. The only other time they get that kind of freedom is on Disney night.
