It's Famous Dances Night on Monday! Taken from the eonline.com website, here are the songs and the performers/movies they represent:

Alek Skarlatos & Lindsay Arnold: "Jailhouse Rock" from Jailhouse Rock
Alexa PenaVega & Mark Ballas: "I'm A Slave 4 U" by Britney Spears
Andy Grammer & Allison Holker: "Good Morning" from Singing In The Rain
Bindi Irwin & Derek Hough: "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" from Dirty Dancing
Carlos PenaVega & Witney Carson: "Pony" from Magic Mike
Hayes Grier & Emma Slater: "You're The One That I Want" from Grease
Nick Carter & Sharna Burgess: "You Should Be Dancing" from Saturday Night Fever
Paula Deen & Louis van Amstel: "Vogue" by Madonna
Tamar Braxton & Valentin Chmerkovskiy: "Rhythm Nation" by Janet Jackson

Leah Remini will be temp co-host while Erin is covering the World Series. Erin will be back when the World Series is over. I hope Leah has as much fun as it looked liked she had the last time she filled in.

Olivia Newton-John will be the guest judge. I bet she will be watching Hayes and Emma closely! Smile

The producers want Bindi to do that flying lift from Dirty Dancing. No pressure there. Ha!

It seems dance styles are still unknown for most teams. However, the rumor is that Bindi and Derek may be doing the rumba, which will be interesting considering the tempo of their song. I don't think they will be able to do that flying lift if they are really doing the rumba. Crying or Very sad

I am looking forward to several dances - Hayes and Emma to see what they do with You're the One That I want, Nick and Sharna dancing to You Should be Dancing (Disco, you think????) and Alek and Lindsay with Jailhouse Rock. If Alek can bring on some emoting expressiveness he should kill it, cause he's got the moves.

The dance I'm most looking forward to is Carlos and Witney. 'Pony' from Magic Mike....that is pure raunch!!! If Len was here he would be saying "too raunchy for me , but he would actually be loving it"!!
I have no doubt Carlos has some Magic Mike moves drooling

and Witney....well if you saw one of the routines Witney and Val did on the DWTS Live tour...she may look like a cute, sweet little thing.....but that girl can pop the moves!!
Before I saw what song they were dancing to, I saw a video Val shot Thurs night at a club where the band is singing that song and Peta and Maksim are singing along to one of the main lines of the chorus ...loving it!!!

Maybe we get a well deserved break here. Erin won't be back until the world series is over, God I hope it's not over untill Thanksgiving. I'm sure we'll enjoy Leah a lot so maybe they could give Erin the sack and give us Leah permanently.

I think these are the dances for next week (could be wrong):

Carlos and Witney: Rumba
Hayes and Emma: Jazz
Nick and Sharna: Samba
Paula and Louis: Jazz
Tamar and Val: Jazz
Alek and Lindsay: Jive
Alexa and Mark: Cha Cha
Andy and Allison: Jazz
Bindi and Derek: Rumba

Too many jazz routines (my least favorite style). The ones doing the jazz routines (Paula, Tamar and Andy) will probably get good scores since that is basically a freestyle.

Ok that is probably the most ridiculous thing we will see tonight. 10's for Bindi and dereks dance. It was not that good. Derek was so wobbly trying to hold her, it made her wobbly I saw it in her face. The details JH was talking about might have been there, but were not executed well. I did like Bindis dress and Derek...once again you looked hot dude. (well until you were about to drop Bindi)

I agree. I though he almost missed the lift. Very little rumba content on top of that.

Team dances next week, kin, had to be 10s to ensure Derek's (uh, Bindi's) captaincy. Nothing changes on this show, does it?

Nick and Sharna definitely did the best dance tonight for me. Love the disco/samba combo. Outstanding choreography by Sharna. Should have been a perfect score. Carrie Ann is so off tonight. She gave Bindi a 10 for a dance that barely has an rumba content and a very shaky lift.

Why does the team captaincy matter? Derek is going to influence the choreography if his partner is a captain or not. I don't understand why that would be such a big deal.
