I agree Shary I've been saying that for a long time, but I have been following Trump for about 35 years and his campaign rhetoric does not jive with the person he has been up until about 3 years ago, we'll see, some of his followers may be very disappointed.

My ex-husband had close dealings with Trump during the 70's while we were newly married, and he cautioned me to stay clear of Trump, that he did not respect boundaries, got fresh with wives of other men, and that women were often caught in humiliating circumstances with him. I was told to never ever get within 50 feet of the man.

He also never paid his bills -- after a job was done, he instructed his employees to give him a list of any possible complaint they might have had about the work, and if they didn't have any, they were told to make stuff that they were willing to testify in court about -- and then he would use that to defend himself about not paying the bills. In this way, he was able to use other people's capital to build his hotels as he was always over-extended.

Funny, all the years Trump has been on the scene in NY, all anyone ever heard from his employees at the Trump Organization was how much they loved him. Go to the Trump Organization and you will find person after person who has been there for years and years. His employees are all mostly extremely loyal to him. They love him. Women there always said he was the best employer for women -- did not do anyone any special favors but if you worked hard and were good the sky was the limit.

Where are all these women caught in "humiliating circumstances" with Trump? They really had to dig hard and deep to come up with any woman who would say anything bad about the guy. And there is a reason for that.

As far as not paying his bills, it is basically an industry standard in real estate that no one pays their final bill (including legal fees by the way). (Obviously people pay their progress bills, or no one would finish their work) Its how that entire industry operates. Thats one reason why there is so much litigation within real estate and construction. You have to fight to get your last bill honored.

You may not like the man, you may not like his political positions or campaign rhetoric. And thats fine. But all of this other stufff is just total BS. Talk to people who know him.

If anyone wants to know something of what Laurie has to contend with on the Kellogs Tour (which she is doing alongside of DWTS) here is a kind of wacky video that Shawn Johnson made (obviously she is exhausted to the point of near incoherence and Shawn is not doing DWTS!!!) Makes's Laurie's performance on DWTS all the more amazing.

Laurie is tough as nails. Latino families are very close-knit and grandparents play a very important role. The fact that she said that she was looking forward to the end of the show/tour so that she could visit her grandmother more frequently and the next day her granma dies illustrates the real hurt that she must have been going through. But her training has prepared her to fight through physical and emotional pain to deliver a good performance, and she did.

She danced the samba brilliantly in the trio, but the choreography did not use the third partner very effectively. Nevertheless, it was interesting to see the quiet strength with which Laurie dominated both Chmerkovskys, and how she much she wanted Val to remember when he was a dance student. On the surface Laurie may seem like a simple giggling kid, but she's made of steel. I hope that Val gives her the freestyle that she deserves, and that he won't hesitate to look for outside help with it.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I thought her tears were an expression of anger to Val, not an expression of weakness. She confirmed my guess was correct tonight. "I was SO angry at you!", she said.

Dancing excellence aside, you liked this one better than what he created for Rumer? I thought this one was too busy. Like the last one he did with Ginger.

Good question. Not necessarily better, but his and Rumors to me was more of just a Paso /Tango fusion.....what I enjoyed about theirs was their chemistry and how much they seemed to enjoy dancing together. This one tonight was more original choreography and just more lighthearted and fun which is my preference in a fs and not something Val has successfully achieved in fs. Very Happy
