Mark Ballas to star in "Jersey Boys" on Broadway

Mark will be taking on the role of Frankie Valli in Broadway's "Jersey Boys" beginning October 18th. The show is set to close mid January 2017, ending it's eleven year run.

Good luck to Mark!  He looks so happy in that AH interview.  It does feel strange not to see him on DWTS and that he won't be back for now.  Maybe later next year he will be able to make a quick visit or maybe even come back for a season. 

I loved that trio foxtrot Mark did with Sadie and Emma to Can't Take My Eyes Off of You.  I wouldn't be surprised if Mark was the one who requested that song, and I bet he had fun working out a trio foxtrot to it.  Sadie looked so beautiful in that dress that was made up of over 24,000 stones--a record.  The designers recall the costumes for that number among their favorites. 

Thanks for all the videos. Wishing Mark the best as he embarks on a new aspect of his career. He is a very talented guy!

Episode 2. 








I could be wrong, but I think Mark might be getting married over the Thanksgiving weekend.  They are hinting that the wedding is coming up VERY soon, and he is taking that whole week off from his Broadway work.

Love Mark in his new role. Wish I still lived in New Jersey. I would definitely go see him in the show. I've seen this show with the original cast and wish I could see it with Mark.
