Pardon my ignorance on this subject.....why the term 'shipping'....when referring to a couple?

Here is a definition per Wikipedia. Basically a shorter way to say the word "relationship,"

Shipping, initially derived from the word relationship, is the desire by fans for two or more people, either real-life people or fictional characters, to be in a relationship, romantic or otherwise. It is considered a general term for fans' emotional involvement with the ongoing development of a relationship in a work of fiction. Shipping often takes the form of creative works, including fanfictionand fan art, most often published on the internet.

Who would have thought the word shipping would take on another meaning?

Seriously, one thing we all had to learn recently is you should never trust predictions. Unless they come from Alfonso. I guess taking it step by step is about all we can do, so let's focus on tomorrow night's cut and keep our fingers crossed James and Sharna will be safe to dance in the finals. Biting nails

A well choreographed and properly danced Argentine Tango is a pretty good opportunity to impress the audience and the judges- I've seen that happen again last night on Strictly. Given the recent discussion about the nature of their relationship, I am quite curious what kind of chemistry we will see on the floor, and what Julianne will have to say about it.
The trio however should feel like a family affair with Jenna returning. #TeamTopKnot

Ah yes, James looks totally thrilled with his new hairdo!

Have to remember, Kimmel made his prediction at the start of the season, before they had even danced. And at that point everyone was predicting Laurie. Since then a lot has changed, not least the love affair millions have fallen into with James. So I say:

How can anyone resist this guy? He's simply wonderful. I think a big secret to Team StopAndGo's success is the rapport and respect James and Sharna have for one another. No tears, no drama just two people in sync showing us what a dance partnership should be.

   Ok first .....Rebecca is gorgeous and very much in the picture...so let's just let Sharna have a great partnership.

      Ohhhhh........everyone is going to be mad at me, but a pro being blindfolded did nothing for me, I would rather have seen the chemistry and connection and looks between each other.....to me that is the key to the AT...plus no one does blindfolds better than Erin and Maksim!!!

  To me James looked nervous throughout the dance, he did not have Sharna to play off of.......sorry Crying or Very sad
