I have seen some speculation about a 13th couple but not recently. Sometimes we have a late announcement when the show finally signs a celeb that has been hard to catch.

Looking at the list, it just hit me that Keo wasn't considered- probably to give way for Gleb. Will he be in the troupe, or has he moved on?

Two thoughts when I read your post sis.....1) the show might be nearing the end and some came back for one last hurrah 2) ratings lagging and needed some needed push. Probably neither Ashamed

I did not see that coming! I guess Derek doesn't have a non-compete clause in his contract, as Hairspray is on another network. Hate, though, that he will once again be burning the candle at both ends, as he starts rehearsals for that show in late October.

I guess I'm in the "oh no" camp too. I don't dislike Derek at all but he grabs most of the focus and attention leaving others in the dust. I know the show wants it that way but last season was such a treat watching all the other pros strut their stuff. Julianne judging doesn't bother me although I think she talks too much and a fourth judge is unnecessary.

I read yesterday in a couple of places that Tony is sitting it out this season. Don't know how accurate that report is, Tuesday should tell the tale.

I like Julianne but she isn't as interesting as the other judges. Is there any proof that the ratings are lagging for this show? If that were the case, they could have it on only once a year and that way wait for better celebrities.

Amber Rose and Maks
Maureen McCormick and Artem
Baby Face Edmonds and Allison
Terra Jole and Sasha
Calvin Johnson and Lindsay
Jungle Jack Hanna and Emma (Emma gets the senior citizen again)

I don't know a single one of them. Doesn't really matter, I often don't know them but get to know them during the course of the show.

I am petrified that Sharna is going to get the tarnished Ryan Lochte and can only keep hoping she won't.

Maureen McCormick is Marsha from the Brady Bunch and you don't know Jack Hanna? He is the guy who comes on talk shows from the Columbus Zoo who brings on the animals. He kind of has a kooky personality. I can't believe he is on.

Terra Jole is only 4'2". Amber Rose used to be a stripper, but then did other things including modeling and singing and had a relationship with Kanye West.

IMO I don't think she should be judging if Derek & or Mark are on the show... Yuck

Well, yeah, I do know who Marsha from the Brady Bunch is but as for Jack Hanna, never heard of him. Don't forget, Glitters, I am Canadian and someone from the Columbus Zoo who appears on American talk shows is unknown to me. If he has a kooky personality I will probably like him!

I wonder why they never have a male gymnast on DWTS? Is it because they are generally shorter in stature? I would think they would do quite well on the show - they have had two male skaters on and they did well.
