Interesting, Psychee. I think if Andy Grammer  was with Peta as originally planned before she had to drop out we would have seen a real contest for #1 spot. That would have been very entertaining, the two Aussie BFF dancing their hearts out.


Tamar and Val slotted in at third rather surprises me. She must be better than I thought. 


I guess Paula and Gary are the easily predictable early exits.

Yes that is a bit surprising but I have read here and there that Bindi is not a natural dancer and can be "on" a bit too much. I expect that will change as the season progresses, certainly DH knows well how to cover any deficiencies his partner has.


The placing of the PenaVegas surprises me too. I thought they would be higher up the list.


I was disappointed with Karina's partner after being so thrilled to have her back. No matter how well Karina choreographs (and she will pull out all the stops) that height discrepancy will be jarring.

Not at all.  No one yet knows how they dance.  They used a variety of other criteria, like how they moved in a general way, were musically inclined, likely to get a fan base, physically fit, and a bunch of criteria related to the pro they were matched with, such as how hungry they were for a win (in Allison's case), how close they have gotten in the past to winning (eg Sharna and Emma), successfully winning in the past, and so forth.  Derek got knocked down because of the perception that a part of the audience would prefer him not to win again.

Well, when you see her for the first time, try to remember that  Bindi comes by her happy energetic effervescence directly from her dad who was the same.    Every little thing in nature excited the heck out of him and his enthusiasm for Nature's wonders was contagious.    Her mom was more laid back, smiling, getting a kick out of her husband's, and then  her child's, enthusiasms.     There's nothing fake about this family.  I used to love watching them on TV.

I love Bindi and her family!  I hope she goes far into the season!  I always use to watch that show her mom and dad did with the various people that worked at the zoo. I was glued to my tv everyday when I came home from school. I even remember the episode when they did the sonogram on Teri and Bindi's birth. Im really excited to see her on the show!!

We soooooo need Charo to be on!!!!      She came on the season Pamela Anderson was on and was in her rehearsal pkg when Pam and Louis were practicing the Flamenco......
