I am so glad to see Usher and Shakira (SP) back! So far it looks pretty even on how the teams are coming together. They all have some very good contestants and are about half way in getting their teams filled. I have really enjoyed how the coaches tease each other and they seem to really respect each other and get along well. It should be a good season.

That is something that I love about The Voice. The humor between the coaches. There are some really good choices this year, some I thought were just ok. I feel bad for the contestants that try out at the end and the coaches have to be really picky. Some are let slip through in the beginning but some of the better ones are not let through in the end because there are just a couple spots left.

I agree rkc but I do think that all 4 coaches have some really good contestants on their teams and right now it looks like that all have an equal chance at one of their contestants winning. Last year the gal that won just stood out from get go to me and so far this year I haven't seen that yet.

I just saw on the internet that they are bringing in another person to mentor the contestants. He will be there for 3 weeks helping the contestants with things like stage presence and other things. His name is Chris Martin (?), when I went back to check the article was no longer listed under entertainment news for today. But there was a link to the article regarding the contract that the contestants have to sign with NBC. It seems contestants on reality shows give away everything including their souls to appear on these shows. The shows that fans vote for their favorites will disregard fan votes and put through who they want anyway. They are all fake. Hmmmm....sounds like some of the same wording that is in the Bachelor contract....but we always knew reality was not reality in the long run.

Exactly rkc! Makes me wonder why I even bother to vote on some of these shows. It seems like such a big waste of time because the winner is decided by the producers and not the voters. I was sure that was happening with AI and DWTS and now I can add this to it. Since the viewers don't vote on Survivor or The Amazing Race maybe the winners are for real there but who knows?
