Is anyone watching this preview of blind auditions? The first one out turned all four chairs and is only 17 years old. Boy if this is any indication of what this season is going to be like - it will be good. Alicia got the contestant. I don't think the regular season starts until Sept. 19th. I think this was just a special for 1/2 an hour after the closing Olympic Show. They only had two blind auditions but they were both very good - Miley got the second one. The coaches all performed together to end the preview. It was really good.

I didn't watch the preview but I am anticipating the upcoming season eagerly. Last season saw some awesome talents and from what you are reporting, SLA, that trend should continue.

Just the first night and wow, so many great voices. I'm excited but I will have a heck of a time narrowing my favourites down.

So the preview that I watched wasn't a fluke then - I will have to watch it on line because I watched DWTS tonight and have no way of recording the other show. Glad they are getting some good contestants.

This will be another good season with lots of phenomenal talent. Didn't think I'd
like Miley Cyrus, but so far she's impressed me with her knowledge. Could there
be a more warm and caring coach than Alicia Keys?

I was going to try to catch up with the first two shows on line but I had no internet yesterday and my provider said it was a wide outage. I didn't get it back until tonight so I will try to catch up on the first two blind auditions this weekend. I agree with Babs about Miley but she did rather impress me with that preview they had on Aug. 21st. I think Alicia is going to give those two guys a run for their money from what I saw on the preview.

I like Alicia very much. I always like her singing but her knowledge reminds me of Pharrel.

Is anyone keeping up with this season? Miley has continued to impress me with the way she was behind Aaron last night and how she told him she was going to be working with him in the future no matter what happened in the sing off last night.

What do any of you think about the top 11?

Kudos to Miley! Nice to know that she will continue to support Aaron's career when the show ends, SLA.
IMO Miley and Alicia have revitalized the show with their enthusiasm and astute observations. The
producers should renew their contracts for next season. No more Christina, please!
My favorites are: Wy, Chris, Josh, Sundance and Ali.

We is my pick! This young lady's vocal range is truly incredible. Haven't heard a better rendition
of Don't Rain on My Parade since Barbara Streisand sang it in Funny Girl. I was floored by
her beautiful soprano voice in the Ave Maria duet with Alicia. WOW!
