I'm hoping he doesn't pick either of them, but if he has to, I would say Becca.  I don't think Arie would have any problem getting women to bed even without this show.  I think there are more fish in the sea for Arie and even if he doesn't end up with either of these women, I don't think that makes him look bad.  I'm so sick of Lauren's gloomy Gus face.  I just want her gone quickly.  What a drip.

I can't say that I saw Kendall in a conventional marriage.  I don't know how much she wants kids.

I wonder how much TPTB had to do with Ross showing up in Peru.  It seem a phone call could have been done instead of all that.  TPTB had to tell him where she was and could just as easily helped him make a phone call.  

I hope Becca doesn't go back to him.  She made their relationship sound very unhealthy.  It was kind of interesting though when she said 'I knew you would do this'  Was she trying to make him jealous?

Yes he is good looking.  I didn't think he communicated with her very well.  It was very awkward.

I didn't take her comment to mean she thought her opinion mattered.  It seemed more like she was willing to speak up because she didn't have a strong connection to Arie like some of the other girls.  It sounded like she was saying she wasn't fooled by him and thought whatever it is that he did was wrong.  It sounds like Arie is not coming out of this with a good image.

I think it was Kendal who said there were girls there who would definitely say yes to Arie as if they were either desperate for a proposal or were so 'in love' with him where she was more analytical and wasn't ready to jump into anything in that short of a time.  I doubt those in love with him would ever speak up.

Caroline might be hoping to get on Bachelor in Paradise, since they didn't show a connection between her and Arie.  They didn't show that Arie used a mixed tape that Caroline made for him, on a date with someone else.  But I believe Caroline is over that.

People are saying Arie said "I love you" to the three women last night, but really I consider it two women.  He said he was falling in love to Kendall but not "I love you."  In any case, it's going to be hard for the one he ends up with, like it was for Lauren with Ben.

In my mind I'm still conjuring up more outcomes that's got to be worse than the real outcome.  At least I hope so, for Arie's sake. 

Why do you say it would be hard for the one Arie ends up with?  He may be better off finding someone on his own.

It was a pretty dull episode.  Even the dates and supposed drama were dull.  I was only interested in Kendall's date.

I called it way back in the beginning when Becca had the first date and mentioned having an ex of 7 years and then the previews showing an ex showing up at the end ... and then along comes Ross.  They broke up a year ago so in my mind he's a bit of a stalker so maybe Becca should be worried.  I wouldnt put it past the producers to encourage Ross to go to Peru - in fact they probably paid his way.  I hope he's not dangerous for both Becca and Arie's sake. 

Sad to see him let Kendall go altho it wasnt unexpected.  Maybe Arie will choose neither Becca or Lauren and ends up dating Kendall later

Remember at the very beginning of the season on Kimmel (I think it was) Arie admitted that at the end he was in love with two girls, but he chose one. "You have to pick someone," he said, as if it was required by the show. I hope that at least there will be a twist "unlike anything I've seen before" to cap off the show. That's the least they can do to repay me for enduring another underwhelming season.

Every season I repeat the same mantra, "The show needs better writers."

I don't think they have writers to write what the people say if that's what you mean.

No, just the manufactured situations.

My post didn't appear.   Basically I was guessing when I said it's going to be hard for the one he ends up with, like it was for Lauren with Ben.  It was reported that it took months for Lauren to get over the fact Ben told JoJo that he loved her too.  It hurt her more than she first admitted.  It might not have been the reason for the breakup; it was hard for a while there.  Maybe the one Arie ends up with, if anyone, won't have a problem with it.

moon, I thought about him going back to Kendal too.  lol  She was less complicated.

Maybe Lauren's dad comes after Arie for hurting her.  All through the show we kept hearing how Lauren was afraid of being hurt.  If Arie does hurt her then he has some balls.

Maybe Becca decides to go back to Ross and leaves Arie.

Have their been any promos of the final rose ceremony?  If so, I just haven't seen them.  Usually we see that quite a bit.

I always knew who the final two were going to be but I just get this terrible feeling that he ends up choosing Lauren in the end. She may be pretty but she comes off as such a snooze fest! Booooooring! Arie being a race car driver has to be a bit of an adrenaline junky, so why would someone that likes excitement go for the one that you probably have to poke to make sure she is still alive?!

His relationship with Becca seems more easy and connected. She’s not boring. If he chooses Lauren then it may have something to do with his doubts about Becca and her ex. That would be a shame considering Becca seems clearly over him. She had described her relationship with the ex as she had to be the one to always go to him and cater to him to keep it going. He apparently didn’t put much effort in. Having been in a relationship like that myself, it really does kill it. Once it’s over you have no desire to go back to that. He’s probably thinking that you don’t know what you’re got til it’s gone and he is wanting her back only to treat her the same way. Once you free yourself from a toxic relationship, most people don’t want to go back to that if they are happy after freeing themselves from it. She can get better than someone like that. He was either feeling awkward in front of the camera or he wasn’t being real sincere because it just all sounded weird.

Yeah he seemed weird to me as well...My guess is that it was all a fake front driven by producers to drum up some excitement. They likely approached the ex with the idea of doing this...plus he got a free trip to Peru so why not. When he was talking to Arie and Beca he would get this smile on his face from time to time that just made it seem like it was a joke to him.

Yes, he would smile at times.  He just put the flowers on the ground and he would hardly look at Becca when making his "plea."

Yeah...and somebody should have given Beca acting lessons on how to look at least a little surprised when he knocked on the door. 

Apparently the ex's IG followers doubled overnight...he's probably going to be the next bachelor or at least be on BIP.

I don't think he has a problem getting women to sleep with him either but for some reason he seemed to think that he had to tell all three women that he loves them/or is falling in love with them to get them into the fantasy suite. It just looked so pathetic.

DoubleDS, you said a lot of the things I was thinking as well. Just the fact that Becca kept bringing up the ex in conversations and PI’s made it clear that she was saying these things to lead up to his “surprise” arrival. And I agree that she didn’t do a very good acting job when he showed up at the door. I caught those smiles of his as well. If you are a guy that traveled across the world to sincerely get your ex back then there is going to be some emotion in what you say and people will know you are sincere. The smiling kept giving it away that he wasn’t taking it seriously. Question is, was Arie filled in on the “surprise” visit or was he really surprised by this dude showing up and the producers were going for his true reaction to it? TPTB seem to know no shame.

When I watched Ross around Arie, I didn't think he seemed very bright and I thought what would Becca be doing with him.  He seemed kind of hickish.  Then when he was around Becca, he seemed a little more normal and I didn't think he was that bad.  He must have been nervous around Arie.  I thought he put the flowers on the ground because he knew Becca wouldn't take them and didn't know what else to do with them.

IMO it was a set up & Arie knew about it.
