Doug and Karina Empty Doug and Karina

This is supposed to be "my team" and they will be as long as the ride lasts but in all honesty, it wasn't very good. Doug didn't look comfortable. C'm on, Doug, listen to Karina, she knows how.

I look for him to be better next week. He was nowhere near as bad as Geraldo.

He may not look like a winner right now, but he's definitely a fighter. It's a bit like Kurt Warner compared to Jacoby Jones, if you know what I mean. But what blew me away was Karina. Despite the scores, she seemed to enjoy just being there. She was radiating with happiness and looking more beautiful than ever.

Oh thank goodness. Like a different person! Loved it. Clever Karina choreographed to Doug's strengths and they nailed it.

Doug is the kind of guy you want to succeed. So happy for them. Maybe the most improved among all the lower scorers from week one.

Really love Karina.Doug came way up the scale with this dance.Very nice to see such a difference this week.Hope they stay around ... he could be the one with a great journey this season.

Doug and Karina have a waltz to "Rainbow Connection" ... should be good,I do love a great waltz.

Wonder if they will have the band sing or play the "Kermit" original version ?

   I have to go with this as my favorite dance of the night.!!  You two were just so special tonight.....the dance, the music, the story......just breathtaking.....how he even kept it together at all when he lay down at the end with Karina beside him......... Applause lovely lady Karina for the beautiful choreography and to you Doug for such a wonderful dance!!

This is why I watch DWTS. A beautiful heartfelt tribute to love. Thank you Doug for sharing and thank you Karina for creating the magic. I was (not for the first time) in awe of Karina; she was imply ethereal.

It takes something (or someone) special to bring that out in Karina. Even Doug's little stumble didn't really matter.

I confess I worry a tad how "jazzy" Doug will be able to be. But hope springs eternal and Lovely Lady Karina is in charge so may all be well.

I see what you mean. He doesn't have the swag of the black guys, but on the other hand he is still quite athletic. I bet the Empress of the ballroom will find ways to use that, like in the Paso. Whatever he's dancing, there is an honesty about him that people seem to like a lot. The main thing to work on is his musicality.

Looking and hoping for great things tonight. Karina can do it and if Doug takes his cue from her all will be well. I am a little concerned that they may go home tonight and hope it doesn't happen.

A boy may drop the cane. A real man just breaks it. I don't even care if he's not as good as some of the others. People love him for who he is, including the struggles. He took Karina further than anyone else since she returned.

     Doug you and Karina make me smile sooooo   much.....so glad you're safe!! I loved it when your hat came off, but later you were suppose adjust your hat and even though it wasn't there you still acted like you were adjusting it.!!   I'm loving it....that's attention to detail!!!

    Sooo happy for Doug and Peta.  Switch up week has not gone well for Peta in the past and there have been tears. No tears this time Lovely Peta!! Karina was prrrretttyy happy too!!!
