Joe, the new bad guy?

For whoever watched After Paradise last week we saw this video of Joe coming into the house and immediately stirring up trouble. I couldn't find the new preview that is out (maybe someone can find it and post it) but it shows Joe trying to hook up with Juelia and acting like a complete ass.

During Kaitlyn's season Joe seemed to be okay until that last scene with him when he was sent home. Do you think Joe has issues or do you think they are just trying to cast him as the new bad guy?

That's a pick'ems. Who knows with this show. I would like to believe that it is TPTB.

Frankly, I'm not sure it matters one way or the other. I don't think he will last beyond one episode. JMHO.

I'm figuring he isn't going to last long either, but it is something to think about. Juelia seems like a nice girl and I didn't get her and Jonathan hanging out because I think the comments he makes about women are disgusting. However, the attitude Joe has or is perceived to have is worse. Why does Juelia attract "bad guys"?

Who was ever cast as a bad guy on this show who wasn't in some way bad? Some people see people on this show as bad whether they are or not. It's like no one needs an edit. Look what people said about Kaitlyn.

I hated the way he was when Kaitlyn ended it with him...and now he dissed Clare.

Also, is he illiterate? He could barely read the date card about riding horses!

LOL @ lb0114! Drugs remember? A mind is a terrible thing to waste. When Josh was reading the date card I had a flashback of that frying egg in pan comparing it to what drugs will do to the brain.

One can only hope that if Samantha does arrive, she'll have no interest in him. Juelia seems so innocent and naive. It's a shame her time will be wasted on a jerk like Joe. His con will likely lead to her departure.

Could be the edit but they can't edit the other contestants thinking he's awful and not wanting to be around him can they? I mean he came across as really crass. I don't like the fooling with juelia that is really upsetting.

If you are looking for scholarly and serious I don't think that the bach franchise is the place to find it.

I don't think it's any edit. We heard what he said to the producer.

Yes, Ashley Cry Me a River. Some of the girls called her on it but she said, "But, I went in the ocean"! People should probably stay out of any swimming pool Ashley I is in!

Lol I treat every season like a psychological experiment in social psych. It makes it very amusing.

I agree about joe not being an edit. He really did a lot of weird behavior. I don't think he's attractive and don't like him.

Hey, I'll go with that. Sometimes I feel like smacking myself for watching this show and ask myself why I still do. I've always said that it makes me feel better about my life, which is true....but I like your explanation better. lol

Even so, I have to admit that was a bit much, even for moi. Like, could one of the producers tell us how that was good television? Was there some viewer out that there who came away from the scene thinking, "Wow! It was sure fun to watch that!"?

It was pretty entertaining, especially Joe. The guy is a train wreck. The way he acts is horrifying and it gets worse next week. Why would Samantha fall for him?
