I liked it, too.  Rashad has a lot of determination and will do much better with next 

week's dance.  I'm happy he made it to Week 4.

Did you doubt he would make it?  Lol!  He's wonderful.

I would love to see Bill visit the ballroom again!  Maybe Bill can even meet up with David since David seems to share some similarities with him.

David joined DWTS at a younger age than Bill plus he is an athlete, so he does have the ability to better handle more complex choreography.  David is off to a good start so far.  We are now entering Week 4, and I look forward to seeing what he and Lindsay will do next.  Like Bill, David shares a fun personality that viewers respond to plus a willingness to embrace the journey and give it his best shot.  As an actor and comedian, Bill knew how to sell his dances--both comedic and serious.  Unfortunately Bill wasn't given enough opportunities for more serious dancing, so I hope David doesn't meet the same fate of just being given light-hearted material.  I want to see him do a serious Tango/Argentine Tango.

I agree with most of what you say, but I do think there are some athletes who just can't dance.  Remember Diana Nyad?  I realize David is younger, but I also think David is more of a natural dancer.  Wouldn't Emma have given Bill more complex choreography if she thought he could handle it?  I don't know if it was just an age thing.  I liked Bill's personality, but I don't think he had the natural dancing ability David has.

My last David and Bill thoughts:  Yes there have been some athletes in the past that found the process difficult.  Even though it seemed on the surface that James was a natural dancer last season, he actually wasn't.  It took him extra hours and most of the week before he could get the nuances the dances required.  That he was able to execute it so well when it counted is what made him so unique in addition to his personality and his chemistry with Sharna.  

I think David, like Bill has the ability to sell his performance, but I think it's a bit early to say that David is a natural dancer.  But the potential is there, and I agree that he will be a better dancer than Bill. Lindsay is gradually ramping it up for David as he is experiencing dance styles like the quickstep and cha cha and learning how to perform in front of a television audience.  And there may be more lifts in their future since he was able to briefly lift Lindsay in their Jazz number.  Bill was probably not a natural dancer and perhaps had a limit to how complex his dances could be.  But Bill worked hard, had fun, and proved that he could dance and deliver it to the best of his ability even if it wasn't technically great.  In the end it was that effort plus his partnership with Emma that many viewers wanted to continue seeing.

I thought Rashad and Emma's Contemporary was incredible, and I almost lost it when Rashad went to hug his father.  What a great job by Emma on the choreography.
