Franco Said The "L" Word
And I'm gagging here. Sorry but I can't stand Friz.
This time last year he was saying he loved Nina.
Wonder who he'll be saying the "L" word to this time next year.

I don't care for this pairing at all, somehow it just rubs me the wrong way.
I've got a feeling Elizabeth might end up with Griffin before long...

I so agree with you. I don't like Liz at all but I do like Griffin and I honestly do think I could get behind a pairing of the two.FLPeaches wrote:I don't care for this pairing at all, somehow it just rubs me the wrong way.

Re: Franco Said The "L" Word
Doesn't look good for Franco. Did anyone else have reason to kill Tom?
I know Franco didn't do it. But Liz is too wishy washy with her feelings for Franco. Don't see them as a couple. Even Scott thinks Franco is guilty. Franco should have left Tom in the dog cage.
I luv Roger. Wish they would write him another character.

just sort of thinking out loud here --
probably sounds crazy and I sure hope it's not true - but I've been wondering -- maybe Alexis?
you know, there was never any follow-up to the (did they / didn't they) one night stand...
and remember,
just the other day, a scene when she was mumbling to herself, 'where did I go? ; or it might have been 'what did I do?'
anyway, there's been no follow-up (that I'm aware of) or explanation for that either.

I think it was Tom's brother, Seth. He didn't seem too thrilled with Tom's actions when he was talking to Franco the other day.

I'm with you Mrs. D, so not into this pairing, hoping Liz ends it for good. I know Franco didn't do it but it sure doesn't look good for him right now.

Re: Franco Said The "L" Word
The only time that I liked Franco was when he was selfless with Nina. After they broke up, he didn't work for me anymore. Roger and Becky work really well together, but then I go back into my GH fantasy world and that relationship is wrong on so many levels that it is not even fun. It makes it worse for me that one of the great moments of soap history, the aftermath of Elizabeth's rape, isn't really even about Elizabeth anymore. It's about how sulky twisted Franco deals with it and that too is just wrong.
I have always loved the Elizabeth character and I even remembered who she really was during all the out of character writing with Jakeson. However, I cannot get into her bringing this man who so traumatized her family into her home.
So I am gagging along with you.

I agree the only logical killer would be his brother .. why else would they even bother to introduce that character
I dont like Franco with Liz either - especially since he was so perfect with Nina and i dont like her with Valentine
I hope Liz gets together with the good doctor/priest .. they will make a beautiful couple

Re: Franco Said The "L" Word
Franco is the obvious suspect but of course it wasn't him. I feel it was Tom's brother Seth. And Franco may have told Liz what he did to Tom but he failed to mention fitting him with a dog collar and shocking him. Still keeping stuff from Liz, huh?
Remember when Tom locked Franco in the cage? Even Franco's ghost/conscience or what ever he was didn't buy the tumor shpiel. Ghost Sam was terrific and then there's ghost Liz singing his praises. Blecch.
And I agree that Franco was much more sure of himself and selfless with Nina. He showed so much growth in that relationship. Then he decides he wants Liz and he digresses to the mentality of a sixteen year old. Wah Liz, you didn't call me, Wah Liz, when are we going to do it?, WAHHH.
He see's Liz having a friendly convo with Griffin and then he has to hang all over her to show Griffin, look she's so mine.
Now as anyone knows on this forum I am a huge Roger Howarth fan and I actually do like Franco but right now I can't stand the ilk the writers have spilling from Franco's lips. I am no Liz fan, not at all but c'mon, give this woman a decent guy. Is she that hard up for some lovin'?, I guess so.
Well I went on a bit of a rant there but I just can't with Friz. And I don't like Nina with Valentin. She is so desperate for love and a child that she can't see the forest for the trees. I know some fans find Valentin charming and sexy but I don't see it. Good actor though. Anyway Nina is going to end up heartbroken over him and Charlotte. Maybe Liz will eventually dump Franco and Nico will find their way back to one another. I can dream can't I?
Thank you for baring with me over my mini meltdown , LOL.

Re: Franco Said The "L" Word
good post. while i'm not particularly a Roger H. fan, and could NOT STAND the original Franco of GH, what i do agree with you on, is he was good with Nina, and it was a good pairing and the chemistry was there! And while i see nothing to that effect with he and Liz, i'd rather see her with Griffin, i believe that's a better fit! I too, see nothing in Valentin, he's swarmy, but dark and evil, and has too many secrets and an agenda with poor Anna, which will leave Nina out in the cold once again! Nina is acting like a silly school girl, don't care for this side of her at all, she went from evil and needy with no confidence in herself - to an impressive woman running a top magazine, confident and in control. Then comes this guy who reminds me of an oily snake, and out comes the need to be "motherly, and nurturing", as well as needing the affirmation of a man! I liked the confident Nina and liked her with Franco. jmo....MrsDashDunning wrote:Franco is the obvious suspect but of course it wasn't him. I feel it was Tom's brother Seth. ooh no...I can't stand this. hasn't Alexis suffered enough?
and now to possibly be Tom's killer?? her life has just been a pure living hell, and I'm reallllly hoping they don't take her there!

Re: Franco Said The "L" Word
Doesn't Sam have a key to Alexis' house? From when she and Danny stayed there. Isn't there a back door? Couldn't she just pop in unexpectedly and find Julian there? Couldn't she and her sisters commit Alexis' drunk self to a rehab facility, with Diane's help?
Don't like wishy washy women. Whatever happened to "I am woman, hear me roar" ? And "A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle" ?

Totally New Thought....Didn't grasp that the picture of the monster Franco painted was Tom. At the time, I thought it was how Franco saw himself.
Meanwhile, Liz should have been flattered by the painting of herself that everyone seemed to overlook. (Painting looks better than she does...but that's how Franco sees her.)
I luv Roger
