Just tell me what to do, and I'll try my best to follow it. Only post in the episode's thread or is it OK to start a new thread on a specific topic (that may pertain to the current episode)?

Excellent points. I was wondering that too. A few of the cast has said, "I'm here for so-and-so; I hope she/he is here." And amazingly, that person shows up. I have no idea who Samantha is and watched all of Chris's season. So odd.

I suspect the producers ask the contestants before filming who they would most like to see on the show, and then the producers do their best to persuade and wheedle those people to come on the show. It's too much of a coincidence otherwise.

I remember now how Joe was when Kaitlyn let him go. He turned from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde within a matter of seconds. Kaitlyn was in shock or something. I thought at the time that there was some editing and she tended to cry a lot. But after watching Joe in action last night, I think he's almost as bad as Bentley on Ashley's season (the one who pretended to like Ashley).

I don't know what happened to my message but it didn't get posted for some reason. Anyway, I thought Jared went back to Ashley to make sure he got a rose after deciding Clare wasn't for him, but I don't know why he felt that. I seem to remember a commercial where Jared and Clare are fighting but maybe it was just edited that way, though I don't think Clare leaves. Why would Samantha be interested in Joe? Ack!

Clare is obviously not interested in Mikey and I understand it. I wouldn't be interested in him either other than as friends. Clare would have Mikey for breakfast.

I think these people know about each other not only from seeing them on someone else's season but also we have to remember that these people in the Bach Bubble hang out with each other even away from the camera's. They know in advance who is going to be the contestants on BIP and I'm sure they get in their mind who they are going to go after.

I do believe that a lot of this drama is manufactured but I also believe that Joe in general not a very likable person. Usually when a season ends and a particular drama is discussed that went on, the response is usually, 'Oh well, that was then. All is forgiven and we are back to being good friends now'. Uh huh. This time however people are not saying that about Joe. When it was being discussed on After Paradise last night Tenley said that there was tension when Joe arrived to the point of it being funny. Also, Jonathan who was friends with him during Kaitlyn's season said that he deleted him off of his phone and does not want any contact with him. He also pretty much left it open that if Joe calls him out, he ready. He was also angry that Joe brought his son into any of this.

As to people showing up as if on queue...I'm sure they ask these contestants in advance who they have an interest in, hence how they know who will be showing up on BIP. I'm thinking that is how they know who to bring on next to add drama. They certainly aren't going to leave anything like that to chance.

I, too, was hoping Tenley would choose Michael. I've lost trust in Joshua after he contradicted himself about the drug use.

Mikey does seem to have a good heart. However, he's too into his body and seems too dense for most of the girls.

Clare has become the Drama Queen of BIP. I wouldn't mind if she left. And I believe Jared only went back to Ashley because she's the lesser maintenance - A princess instead of a queen. It wouldn't surprise me if he just coasts through the rest of the season, not seriously interested in anyone.

You know singly, that was my first thought, that or something happened on the date that they didn't show to turn him off. We obviously missed something that went down because he already knew the age difference and it didn't seem to bother him. It seemed odd to me that anything that can cause drama they make sure they don't leave out of the edit so why did they leave the story behind the story out of it?

Then something occurred to me...maybe the reason we are not seeing something happened that made him change his mind is because it didn't have anything to do with Clare at all. Maybe this is just the conspiracy theorist in me but I think that what brought this about had something to do with one of the producers dropping a bug in Jared's ear and of course they aren't going to show us that...after all, that would reveal the manipulation involved. I can't remember which guy it was but after the whole Jared asking Clare on the date debacle it was said to Jared that he went from being the good guy in the house to the bad one (or something of that nature). If what some are believing is true and that Jared may be the next Bachelor, then they wouldn't want him doing anything to jeopardize people opinions of him before making the announcement. I think this is why he won't really make any 'connections' on BIP because that would ruin everything. Just my theory.

I really liked Michael with Tenley, I was a little surprised that she chose Josh. Seems like Michael is a nice catch, unless there is a reason he has been single so long.

I did not like Michael at all in Des' season but he did seem like a different person to me when he was around Tenley. I was surprised and a bit disappointed she didn't pick Michael over Josh so I guess Michael probably ended up going home. That was a very short stay for him.

If Jared is really a bad guy, then I don't think they would cast him as the next Bachelor. I think they mostly try to be careful of that. I think it already looked bad that Jared cozied up to Ashley to get a rose after his connection with Clare fell flat. He was all of a sudden paying a lot of attention to Ashley. I think Tenley just has the hots more for Josh than Michael. She liked him on Kaitlyn's season.

I'm not saying that I think what Jared did makes him a bad guy...I was saying that if they are courting him as the next Bachelor that they wouldn't want anyone THINKING he did something bad. It's all about the rating with them and people generally don't want a person that is being looked down on as the next Bachelor/ette.

Hmmm... I wonder about the mental stability of some people on this show since the situations they produce cause so much emotional anxiety it can be harmful to their health - look what happened in the past with Gia committing suicide over heartbreak. I hope Juelia is strong enough to take whats coming since it looks like lying Joe is getting his wish with Samantha coming on board next episode. I'm surprised TPTB allow this to go on - looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I dont care for Clare. Didnt like her on Juan Pablo's show or the last Paradise show. I think she loves herself too much for anyone to love her back. On the bungee jump she kept screaming into poor Jared's ears and then cried like a baby and that must have turned him off (that and picking her teeth) since he was probably expecting a more mature woman and found out otherwise. I also dont like the way she acted with Mikey. True he wasnt catching her clues that she wasnt really interested but thats no reason for her to be such a b itch about it. And what was up with her attitude towards Jade ? When she said this show's contestants werent really there for love like she was it just sounded like sour grapes to me...

I was disappointed in Tenley's decision to give Josh the rose over Michael. Heres a guy who came to the show for the sole purpose of meeting her and isnt that what she's looking for in a guy ? Maybe he's just not her type or something but is Josh ? And i cant imagine what she's sees in JJ - didnt she see him on The Bachelorette ? UGH ! Yuck

I think Gia had problems before she came on the show. Gia suffered from depression which was more of a medical illness. As far as Tenley and Josh, Tenley liked Josh from Kaitlyn's season. I think Tenley maybe has more lust for Josh. I think the show used to be worse for people when it was Bachelor Pad. At least the show now is only to find love and there are no other prizes connected which made the show more cutthroat.

Michael is a real gentleman. Like how he pulled out the chair for Tenley prior to being seated at the table; did the same with Des during
her season. Good manners and very intelligent! Wish he would stay longer.

Claire is really passive aggressive. It was the same way last year. She started off all bubbly and great and then very quickly when she was unhappy slid into a snarky and comment laden diatribe. The same with this situation. She has no basis on her comments. There may be a few manipulators on the show (Joe) but the majority are ALREADY in pairs and quite happy! More so even than last year. She was saying to Jade basically that she stood by her comment of no one is there to find love. This is probably why she is still single. She comes across as so fake - she is all smiles when things are her way but then turns so angry and snarky when it doesn't. I want to like Claire - but when she flips so quickly this way I just can't. She sabotaged her own relationship last BIP season with a really handsome great guy (can't remember his name) because she didn't think he was into her enough. It was really ridiculous. I think they have it correct that it is all attention ploys.

I think the BIP producers like her because they can manipulate her into crazy very easily.

Tenley was really silly to choose Joshua. It is just a lust thing. They have no chance for a relationship. I thought Josh showed himself as really immature. He may not be a huge partier (tough to tell through the contradictions) but he is way too immature. The way he handled the Kaitlyn and Nick situation was so immature and then he doesn't show himself as able to have any sort of good conversation with anyone in the house. He is just letting Tenley come to him basically. He is quite cute (my type physically) and perhaps they did have a better conversation than it seemed but I don't get the impression he is interested in a long term relationship in any way. He is still too immature.

I like Mikey but a lot of people aren't into the (to quote Jersey Shore) Gorilla look. Super toned and beefed up. He also came into the house like a bulldozer making the comments about being an alpha male which turned people off to him as a candidate for a future. He also may not be quite ready for a long term thing. He isn't very perceptive that is for sure.

My opinion is Jared is not interested in anyone and probably is still heartbroken over Kaitlyn and really isn't ready for a relationship. I think he was encouraged to keep ridiculous Ashley. I don't think he will find anyone on BIP.

The more I think of Joe the more I think he is pretty off. I mean the girls (except Juelia who bless her heart is NOT the brightest bulb) perceived something off with him right away. At first I thought he was just shy but I'm realizing it is more like he has a personality disorder of some sort. He seems emotionally defunct and manipulative. He attaches himself to Samantha next week - poor girl. He obviously knows that she is coming. It seemed like all contestants had everyone's picture and info before hand. I feel bad for Juelia but not that bad - she wouldn't listen to the warnings. I mean Joe wouldn't talk to her after the date OR even stand near her on the beach. I mean - why wouldn't she think about this? What was she focusing on? He did lie very well to her on their date so I can see her hanging onto that. I don't' blame her for giving him the rose but still, that coupled with the warnings should have had some impact. And poor Jonathan knew but then backed down. I mean I really feel like Joe has some sort of emotional disorder. He played all of them. I don't know why Jonathan thinks Joe is a friend. I mean he must just hang out with the guys pretty easily.
