More Today Than Yesterday ..... The Spiralstaircase

Dec.5th I tripped on a walkway and fell on my right wrist. Bad fracture the doctors told me. I now have steel plate & screws inside my right wrist. Next appt. is the 23rd of this month. Am able to work but employer is hesitant to put me back on.

And by the way. I'm right handed. I think I'll be adept with the left by the time this is over. Don't worry though okay. Everything is going well.

Sorry for all you went through. I have cement in my leg because I was misdiagnosed and a tumor ate up part of my femor. I had that surgery twice and then fractured my knee. Luckily I was much younger so I had more stamina.

OMG a friend of mine broke her back last year had surgery and they left a ton of cement in her it is pressing on her nerves and she can hardy walk. It's so bad that when she lays down she can feel it pressing in her back.

Your friend should go for a second opinion. They come up with new things every day. The first surgery I had a bag of bones put in because cement wasn’t an option then. Eleven years later when the tumor returned cement was the newest thing. Now when I went for a checkup the Dr told me that they don’t use cement anymore. He thinks the pain is from scar tissue & I’ll live with it rather than going through surgery again.

She has been to so many doctors and no one wants to touch her, they call it a clean up job after another surgeon messed you up. She is now in a law suite .....hopping she wins she almost died that's how serious it was.

I worked for PI attorneys for over 20 years and saw some horrible things. Your friend needs a good malpractice attorney. I feel sorry for her.
