Re: TeamLadyandtheGramp
That was not very good.....Nick was way better than that....if David had skipped and jumped just a little it would have been one thing, but it was through the whole dance and even when he was twirling her when she was leaning back....well to me it was all a little awkward.

It wasn't his best dance, but I know David will continue to give it his best effort.

I wanted David to "knock it out if the park" (groan) but alas. It was high energy and he is always a good sport.

Yes a good sport he is. he might have been in step, but to me they just didn't look like Jive steps and I actually thought it was a little low energy for a Jive.

Ok, David- here's my advice. Should you ever try to Jive it like Hinch with the pit crew again, better not wear Waltrip's onesie...

Loved Lindsay getting tough with David, he needed it. Better than last week but not as smooth as it should be. My gosh, Lindsay dances with absolutely no fear. What a doll.
I think Nick did give David a little gift for that BSB answer.

Re: TeamLadyandtheGramp
There was truth in the judges' comments. He lost the fun a bit, he was fighting, the pressure got to him. You often see that with people who are still around although they least expected it themselves. It was a bit like the Jive last week. He had the steps down, but was so busy getting it right and not dropping Linds that it lacked accentuation. Less lifts in the routine would have been better for him maybe.

Re: TeamLadyandtheGramp
Lindsay loves lifts though and sometimes uses them too often. Not the first time I've thought that. I think she tends to throw in a lift when she isn't confident in her partners grasp of more basic moves.

I don't really know what to say about this. A sci-fi salsa seems an impossibility anyway. Lindsay looks so cute. It was fun.

It was fun and entertaining, but a sci-fi Salsa? That's a hard one. Their pre dance package was a hoot.

Lindsay reminded me of Joana Krupa in Derek's legendary Futuristic Paso.

Just found out Lindsay picked Hayley for the trio round. Usually it's Witney, but maybe it was time to try something new.

Don't know about it being his best dance, but I really did like it. Probably the best partnership on the show!

Yes that final dance was ......not good. The waltz was fine but I kept thinking Nancy should be dancing, not David (or Bonner).
