I'm starting to think of this as the Corinne show ! Why on earth does she get so much camera time ? I am sick of hearing her constant whining about everything. And does she really have a nanny ? She's 24 years old ! I checked her bio on the abc site but it doesnt give much detail - just that she has an online business and the promo showed a video of her at the show's beginning ... is she a rich kid whose daddy has spoiled her ? I just dont get why we need to see so much of this brat. And whats up with her going to bed while the show is still being taped ? Strange !

Yes, she is a strange cat. I can't figure out of this is just an act for TV, if she really is that immature or maybe a combination.
Per her previews, it did show that she lives in an upscale oceanfront Florida condo, with a nanny. Her dad is also retiring and is giving her his successful real estate business that he built.
She seems entitled and just needy. Affluence is the term?

First they went on and on about Liz at the beginning of the show and then it became about Corinne.

It sounds like Corinne has an assistant...probably refers to her as the nanny to spice up some drama on the show.

She says the woman makes her bed and makes lunch for her and supposedly does her laundry. She says it makes the woman happy and Corinne doesn't want to take that away from her.

The reason for Corrine is so this season isn't a complete snooze fest. I think they knew Nick wasn't that well liked for the lead so they are pulling out all their tricks to spice things up. I bet they thought Liz would cause a bit more drama but she was a flop. As annoying as Corrine might be, think what this season would be like if there was no drama in the house. The other girls are really catty about Corrine.

I think producers were hoping for a more controversial season as opposed to a Ben Higgins (well liked) type of season. Nick brings baggage and baggage most of the time means viewership. I think Nick won over a few fans after his appearance on BIP. I am not sure what the appeal was but ABC capitalized on it and made the Bachelor switch at last minute. My assumption is that it's all about ratings and drama. Love doesn't really bring in the ratings... Most of us watch for the craziness I think.

It seems like some people just want a cardboard bachelor and they are happy with that. I think Nick has more personality than most of the bachelors they have had, but that could be partly because we didn't get to know most of the bachelors like we have Nick. When you compare Nick to someone like Chris Soules as a bachelor, Nick to me is way more interesting.

Oh I agree - Chris is dull!! He seemed phony to me. Didn't he preach how he wanted a wife to share his love of life on the farm and then he dumped Whitney and moved to LA. WTH. He loved every minute of that fame. It's so hard to know which ones really want to find a mate and which ones are in it to possibly extend their 15 minutes. I believe Nick is in it to extend his fame.

Did Corrine really look like she was asleep during the rose ceremony? lol She loves attention. She kind of reminds me or Erika Rose and her tiara. I think Nick should have taken his rose back.

Apparently according to Corinne's mom most of her actions are fake. Notice it doesn't say the nanny part is fake. And it was obvious that the whipped cream incident was rigged.

I'm sure some of her antics may be producer driven, but it could also be her mother doesn't want people thinking her daughter is like this. As far as the whipped cream, it was at night when she did this and Corinne or somebody could have put it out just before she got there. Do you think the things she says are producer driven? The way she acts like she is better than everyone else? Her behavior could also get her in trouble as far as getting Nick and the girls are complaining about her. I don't doubt the show plans some things or else it could get boring.

This happens with someone every season. I personally find it hard to believe that it would be a complete coincidence that there is that one person every season that just so happens to be like this. It just seems to point to the fact that this is a ploy by the producers to stir up the house. They have to have that trouble maker. I have no doubt that some of the the things she does and says are her and just her personality. The other stuff is just so extreme that I find it hard to believe that it would be real.
As to the whipped cream incident, it just reeks of producer manipulation. I know her mother tried to make some point about the whipped cream and being out during the day. It wasn't during the day that this happened so I think her mothers point on that was mute. One of the biggest things that pointed to the producers having a big part in that is the can having a piece of tape over the name of the brand. Corrine wouldn't have thought to do that. That is something shows or advertisements do not to get in trouble with the companies that make these items.
You have to also go back and listen to past contestants and how they talk about situations having been manipulated by the producers and handlers. They can't put on a boring show because that would be ratings suicide. This show has turned into a joke for these reasons compared to what it originally started out as. I was watching an interview with Jerry O'connell today and he was talking about his brother Charlie that was the Bachelor early on in the show. He was also talking about what a joke it has become since his brother was on there.

I think they take someone like Corinne and exaggerate her. I'm sure there are other girls on the show who have some bad traits, but maybe their personalities aren't as big or the girls hide some of their traits so we don't know until later. Like we didn't know that Samanta Steffen was somewhat bad until we saw her on BIP. Maybe they chose Corinne because she has kind of a bigger personality.

I think Corrine is very immature for her age..She is too young for Nick anyway. Plus she is very entitled. I pity the man that she winds up with.

Corrine is everything Taylor said she is, immature, manipulative, and lacking in emotional intelligence. She's pretty much a spoiled brat fom the sound of things. However, I think Taylor is probably too smart for Nick anyway. He hasn't done so well with professionals so maybe he is aiming lower. Time will tell and if he ends up with Corrine I can't see it lasting because she doesn't seem ready for an adult relationship. That being said I'd love not to have to listen to Corrine's whining and her temper tantrums.

Exactly barnieme ! I just wish Nick had taken Taylor's words seriously enough to dump Corinne right then and there. He should have seen her for what she is and sent her home. Instead he rewarded her with a rose so she feels justified in her disgraceful display of immaturity towards Taylor - ugh ! Nick deserves her.
