Cynical me says this was the most contrived and manipulated event possible. The Big Three, Derek, Maks and Cheryl, all in jeopardy! Oh my, what drama! But DWTS has two long hours to fill tonight so count on hearing about this repeatedly.
All the dances seemed rushed and not well prepared and I cannot fathom why (well I can, manipulation). The couples had the usual amount of time to hone their performances. Then the scoring by the judges was very suspect. Suddenly they found paddles they forgot they had until they got to Laurie, scoring all but Laurie and Calvin low.
Not the best night in the ballroom, I'm glad it's over.
