Thanks SLA....just not sure I will be able to sit through this.

The problem is that due to "creative" editing, we don't have a clear and lovable hero as the one who appears to be the winner.  Are they leading us down the garden path with her declaration of love and his mixed feelings?  Or the amped up idea that Chris is still in the race?

Are all those tears for real?  OR did they come after Ben and James were exposed?  When she might have lost hope in the process and wanted to go home?

When the manipulations of TPTB become SO obvious that you can't even count on the slightest bit of truth, watching the show becomes annoying.  In the past, we got SOME inkling of who these people were.  Now, we're served tidbits of whatever clips they dig up and splice to FORM our perception.

Some romantic footage of Des with Brooks might have been helpful to make this choice easier to swallow.  This will likely be my last season.  I don't like feeling duped.

Edit:  Something just occurred to me.  This season, I've spent more time questioning the cut and splice than I have wondering who she'd choose.  Just sayin'.

They have either been giving away the ending with her declarations of love for Brooks or she picks Chris or Drew as a consolation prize. Neither is a good ending IMO. There is a poster named atem on the 'ette board. She is a big time poster and sleuther over there and has been saying for the last few days that MF finally has an unspoiled season because there is no evidence to support the spoiler. And she is tracking their where-a-bouts, screen caps, every little detail. That was a bit curious to me, but otherwise the season is a dud. I have no interest in the MTA beyond the previews to see if there is anything further to support what atem is saying.

It would be a shocking ending if RS was stumped. I would love it. I know who I would pick if it was left up to me. One is not really ready for marriage not sure one is ready for a commitment and I really think the one left is really crazy about her. IMHO

There are a lot of sleuthers on the other board who delight in digging into every little clue down to nail polish, finger shapes, etc. Many of them are refugees from FORT, including the two admins. I go over there a lot but by this time during a season the over-attention to detail gets on my nerves. TPTB have given the detail-oriented folks a lot to play with this season. I'll just be glad when it's over.

I am looking forward to Des telling someone just what a butthead someone was. I would love to see his whole world turned upside down and he has a very hard time getting a date. I would be laughing so hard. Payback can be a rough and tough road. It is beyond my mind grasp why people can not treat other people with respect. It has been something I have never understood and wondered how they might have been raised.

Like your avi too. Some are thinking it is a safehouse pic. What is funny is that they are trying to decide if his chest hair would have had time to grow in that much!

I always root for RS to be wrong at this stage. It would make future seasons so much more interesting because we would not know again like the good 'ole days. It seems like TPTB could be in on spoiling it though. Why else does Jimmy Kimmel give it away every season now? If Brooks leaves and comes back at the last minute, I am hoping she tells him to go fly a kite. Drew and Des, I just don't see.

Zack and Chris are really great men. I am surprised that they are single. I doubt they will be single much longer.

yep... she did ignore that question from Ben and it was a fair question! You can tell Ben has been reading and/or posting on the motherboard because that was the main question there as well. I was surprised Dan went after Ben too. That was some new info, though why Dan felt he should discuss it on national television is a mystery. Ben's poor kid will watch that on youtube one day.

 Grace, I thought that, too.  I also thought that CH wanted Des to know that Zak still loved her.  Plus, she told him why she didn't choose him, and it wasn't something they couldn't talk about more and work out.  I don't know - it's just a thought about her and Zak.  She looked like she wanted to cry when he sang that song to her, and she also looked like she wanted to cry when CH said the preview for next week was coming up.

I noticed she teared up when Zack sang. She has no ideal just what a great guy he is. He would carry her on a pillow and spoil her with love. I have heard that Zack shows up asking for a second chance. I do not know if it is true. Who ever gets him is getting a great guy. I know you can lead a heart to love but you can not make it fall in love.

If Brooks leaves and comes back I hope she gives him a quarter and tells him to call her when he grows up.

I only watched the last half-hour. I promised myself I would not watch more. The camera was on Zak and Juan Pablo a lot. Either of them would make a great Bachelor, IMHO. Joan Pablo is just adorable.

I also noticed there was no reference to whether Des is happy, engaged, etc. I suspect that was done on purpose to heighten our interest in the remaining two episodes.

Frankly, I don't CARE if Ben was subjected to the grilling.  How does one defend lies and brown-nosing?  The boys came up with the perfect "politician" tag for him.  As far as the boy, I don't think a kid that young watched the show.  By the time he'd be old enough to understand it, this season will be ancient history and long forgotten - unless Mom taped it to someday show her son what an a**h**** his father is.  I know there were a few who actually liked Ben, but he rang "phony" to me from the start.  Des was right about his blank eyes.

James?  Good riddance!

As for Juan Pablo, he DOES seem like a sweetheart.  He appears almost obsessed with his daughter to the point I wonder how a wife would fit in.  More than looking for a wife, he seems to be "screening" for a mother.  (I suspect it might be the reason Des was eventually put off.)  Is the mother dead?  CH mentioned how popular he was this season despite the skimpy screen time.  I'd take him for an extremely passionate man, as evidenced by his love and commitment to his Camila(sp?).  Do they LIVE in the US or Argentina?

Zak.  Poor Zak.  His revelation about his personal life was sad.  Apparently, he's driven away some women with his zeal toward fun and adventure.  Hiding behind his smile.  Did anyone else interpret it this way?  When she mentioned his smile, he understood why she let him go - as if it's a pattern in his life.  Sad.  He's SO likeable.  When he talked about his age and his friends all being married, I FELT his longing.  I was hooked.
