This was much more up her alley than last week. I really enjoyed it. Val can be extremely demanding during rehearsals, but Ginger can take it.

Not a fan of that low lighting; I think I missed a lot. Ginger seems a very competent dancer and Val is of course, spectacular.

And now, at this point, we are getting who the judges are pushing.

I have to remind myself not to start and dislike her for the favoritism on GMA- that's clearly not her fault. To be honest, there isn't too much one could say against that performance. Val, experienced as he is by now, left nothing to chance. Choreography, preparation, execution: brilliant. So it comes down to sympathy or personal preference. If we want the best dancers in the final, she should be there. The one thing that's bothering me is if and how much she has danced before. I'm beginning to feel Antonio is the only none-dancer left.

Did you ever see Renee Zellweger in Chicago? She claims or somebody did that she had no prior dance training and she was pretty darn good in that movie. Some people are naturals or catch on quickly.

For me, personally, Ginger just doesn't excite me. She dances well but I don't get that spark of connection from her. To me she is rather bland. I don't know where her support is coming from (aside from the judges and ABC). Facebook posters aren't fond of her and the various other message boards aren't either. Most posters feel she is being over scored because of her ABC affiliation and isn't actually earning those scores. I don't sense any dislike towards her, mainly a sort of meh! attitude.

Get the defibrillator out.....Val and Artem jiminey Christmas I thought this was a trio......oh yes... Ginger. The guys were so powerful they overwhelmed Ginger imo....I just don't think they made her the focus. She tried , but CA was right you did look beautiful.

Loved the dress. Yes she has improved, I think when she saw Jodie and Val and the scores they got and the partnership they had; it put a fire in her belly!!!

Ok, now I have their trio song stuck in my head....and I keep watching the video (ok it might have a little something to do with Val and Artem) the only thing that would have made this better is if Cher was there in one of her fine feather headresses singing it....Bang Bang!! Very Happy

The trio Paso had great impact. The QS didn't impress me. Val got excited (who wouldn't with Leona Lewis) and forgot to tone it down. When he went full on, Ginger fell flat. Suddenly the difference between pro and celeb was very obvious.

I appreciate your kind words. I was a huge Maks fan (if u didn't know LOL) & now am a fan of Val's. However I think Ginger is the most improved for a non dancer this season. I am glad that she is in the finals. Very Happy

I respect anyone's opinion, but for me Ginger has third place written on her forehead. Only Paige can give Nyle a run for the money, plus Val has always struggled with the freestyles. Mark and Peta are on a higher level there. And there are no bonus points awarded for best none dancer. If so, Nyle might get them though.

LOL My Sami can predict the weather better than Ginger. If he rolls his paw over his ear I know it's going to rain.

Off Topic - Babs, I wish your Sami would do some long distance weather forecasting and predict some rain for tinder dry and burning Alberta! That horrible Ft. McMurray fire still isn't out and we have several others burning. There is a province wide fire ban but with a long weekend coming up you just know a doofus or two will build a campfire anyway.
