Are You Glad?

I really like this girl. And I'm hoping for another PG season. No Wes or Bentley-types. Is that asking too much?

I think Desiree will do a fine job as the Bachelorette. A lot of people are probably looking forward to seeing another train wreck or two with her brother. I know RS is all excited about the possible (re)appearance of her brother on TV. LOL

The only thing that makes me sad is that I like Des, and by the time a season is over every lead is thoroughly trashed. That will be too bad when it happens to her.

That's true, WW. I hope it doesn't turn out that way.

And Bach, I DO hope they'll avoid the brother drama. At the very least, he'll need to eat his words or call his sister a "playgirl." I really believe they got him drunk between the conversations he had with Sean.

I'd like to see one season with a straight evolution to a relationship and leave the whack-jobs out of the equation. Perhaps they learned a valuable lesson from Sean's season. Are they bright enough to get it?

I was not and am not a Des fan and doubt I will watch her season as she really bothered me more last night than she did on Sean's season.

I wish I could WW - but there is just something about her that doesn't sit right with me so maybe you could call it those gut feeling things I guess. It was that way with me with AshLee from very early on I kept saying something is off with her and boy she did not prove me wrong! But don't get me wrong - I don't view Des the same way as I did AshLee. There is something there that doesn't sit well with me and if my light bulb blinks on I will be sure to let you know.

One good thing about the brother is that he can provide all the drama the season needs. That would free up the producers to offer us the relationship-related stuff a lot of us feel has been missing. In that regard, Sean's season was much better than a lot of recent ones.

I like Deisree, and think she will make a good B'ette. With the exception of Catherine, I thought Des was the only one of the ladies who could pull off a good season.

I agree with you WW. It happens every time they reuse a previous contestant and make them the lead. Sean is basicly a really nice, decent guy and look what happened to him. I always liked Des and I'm sure they'll find a way to trash her as well. But I'd still rather watch her than AshLee. That seriously would be the first season that I would miss in the history of this show. She just rubs me the wrong way.

I so agree with you rkc on AshLee and I think that ABC realized it as well. I was not going to watch this season because I was not a Des fan but after seeing some of the male contestants I had to rethink that and I just have to see those men! I am sure that WW and you are right that they will find some way to trash her but maybe they will pick on her brother instead. I am so glad you are here posting with us! Very Happy
