Finale Theories? Who is the letter from, and what does it say?

Okay, time to put on our prognosticator's cap and come up with some plausible, or implausible, theories on the letter.

Is it a set up by the producers or really some heartfelt letter?

Is it from one of the F2, or someone in Sean's past?

What does it say?

Does it change things for Sean?

What say you?

I think the letter is from Catherine. In the intense exchange between Catherine and Sean in the latest video, she seemed to have realized that things were becoming real for her. She mentioned that she couldn't see herself not chosen by him at the end. She also said ILY to Sean. I think she got a little scared and the letter was to tell Sean that she had given her heart to him - one last plea for the chance to be chosen at the end.

Someone on the other board speculated that it is "Words of Affirmation" from Catherine which is one of the love languages. Basically, telling him she's ready and loves him. I agree that it will be something like that.

I think the letter is also from Catherine talking about the journey they have gone through and also saying how much she truly loves him. On another site they have disected the letter and you can read some of the sentences and it show it is from Catherine. I do not think it changes anything I think Sean is deeply touched by the letter and that is why we see him crying. JMHO

Okay, here's my latest theory on the letter.



The F1 wrote it and it says that she loves him, but is not ready for a proposal, didn't want to say no, so she's just not going to show up to the FRC. Sean and/or the producers pursuade her to appear. He suggests dating in the real world. She says yes to that. Either he proposes outside the show, or he proposes at the AFRC. Maybe they even hold a wedding at the AFRC.

With 6+ hours to go, that's what I'm goin' with!

Wow, I like it!

Well, I like the first part of it. I like it up through the point he suggests dating in the real world and she agrees. I going to stick with the idea there is no proposal yet.

With the exception of a wedding on the show, I was thinking exactly the same thing, Ugh! I burst into a smile when I scrolled down to your post in anticipation of making my own. If you're right, it would be a wonderful, but rare, display of relationship common sense. I think that if Sean chooses Catherine, this is how it will happen.

As to the wedding, I don't think Fleiss and ABC will give away, in just a few minutes of air time, something they could make into an entire production and milk it for all it's worth.

All that said, I still have a nagging gut feeling that Sean wants a two-star general's daughter for a wife!

If it's from Catherine and it's good news, it will hardly live up to the "bombshell" description. I read somewhere that she has a child she hasn't told him about. Probably BS, but would certainly qualify as bombshell.

He appears emotional, true. But I'm not sure it isn't "unhappy" emotional. We'll see in just a couple of hours. I wish they'd shown enough for me to be on the bandwagon for Sean and Catherine.
