I guess the it all started with Anna Netrebko.  Here is a clip of Anna singing and dancing at the same time.   I had the fortune of watching her perform L'elisir d'amore live on stage last month.  She has incredible stage presence and a good actress in addition to being perhaps the greatest soprano in our time.

Wow! Anna is incredible! You must be an Opera Buff. I've never really listened to much Opera, but my grandmother took me to the Magic Flute at the Met once when I was a kid and I never forgot it. I think I also saw Carmen. Seeing the movie Quartet recently got me curious about Riggaletto, so I checked out the opera at the Library and put it in my car and listened to the whole show and read about the tragic ending in the synopsis. The next opera I checked out was The Marriage of Figaro, now I'm on La Boheme. I am enjoying hearing the music and some amazing voices.

Thanks for sharing this!
