This is the 12th Arthur Rubinstein piano competition. She missed the entrance at 7:36 and then proceeded to skip a larger portion of the composition. The orchestra practically stopped for 30 seconds. She could have won the competition as she is a fantastic keyboard technician, but since she failed the finale she only got the 3rd price.

Bach, what was she playing? How tough to lose her concentration so late in the piece. Are you a musician or involved in the Arts?

S&T -- Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2. No expert, I just happened to see the header at the beginning of the video.

You're welcome, S&T. I might have been able to figure it out myself; I was a music student for many years and still retain a good memory for some of the concertos, operas, etc.

Glad you both enjoyed it! It's incredible how he can play the William Tell Overture (Lone Ranger theme) like that!

Another amazing musician is Hawaiian ukelele player Jake Shimabukuro. Have you seen him play? He can play it all on a ukelele from classical to rock to jazz to anything. He has lots of footage on You Tube. If you haven't seen him, check it out!
