Has anyone heard from singlyme recently? We talked on a regular basis and the last time she was on here looks like November. I'm a little worried about her.

Jewel is ok. You can send her a PM if you want to talk to her. I think Newto opted out of here. Haven't seen SLA for a while either.

Before I forget yet again just wanted to let you know that I did hear from Singlyme and she is fine. She hasn't been around.

As to SLA, I really hate to be the bearer of bad news but for those who haven't already heard SLA passed away. Very sad.

This is terrible news. She sent me a pm in November and told me she wasn't
feeling well. I was hoping it was nothing serious. I enjoyed all her posts and
will miss her very much. Rest in peace, SLA.

Wow - I am so sorry to hear about SLA. I'm not on this board that much but remember her well. We communicated a bit off board...I always thought she was a very sweet and classy lady. I am truly sorry to hear this sad news. She will be missed...

OH HOW SAD, I knew she was ill but didn't know to what extent......I truly am very sad.

OMG!! I'm so sorry to hear about SLA! She was so kind to me when I first joined! Does anyone know what happened? "I've thought of her often and I'm so sorry to hear about her passing! May she rest in peace.My prayers go out to her and her loved ones.

I am really sorry to hear this. Although I knew she was having some health issues, this still came as a surprise. I just didn't realize it was that serious. RIP SLA.

I don't know where the others people mentioned have been. They probably created their own conversation group somewhere else. I wish them well, as always.

The information that I got was that she passed away on December 8th. Her brother said they believe it was her heart. Apparently a neighbor tried to call her and when she didn't answer they sent a sheriff over to her house and that is when they found her.

I too am saddened to hear of SLA's passing. We did communicate and although she had been going through serious health issues for sometime, never complained & always seemed to keep her chin up with an off-the-cuff comment. As well she had lost her beloved doggie companion who she missed. I do remember when the "newbies" joined the board, she was quick to welcome us and keep us in line ensuring we understood what an 'ABC' post meant and if we missed a beat, she was quick to tell us. SLA, aka Sue, you're now pain free and resting in peace.

Whoa - no way ?#@? My condolences. It seems not so long ago she was sending me pm's stating how you Big Mules were complaining she didn't ban me. She was really nice to me in her messages; always stating why she had to delete my post and actually taking the time to explain the board rules and, at time, even disagreed with the Mule Herd when they were trying to form a posse. She was also into the Olympics and I enjoyed talking about some of the events we both followed.
That really sucks. RIP SLAw
.............and I hope some of you Big Mules who bothered her with your cry-baby whining have terrible nightmares.

Had no idea this thread existed. As you can see, I'm back.

So sad to learn about SLA. I guess beyond the faces we present to bachchat, our lives are pretty much a mystery.

It would be wonderful if the missing people mentioned above were to rejoin the board. I miss those days when it was fully populated - mostly by people looking to escape the "villains" on the old ABC board.
